By the time this movie had come out in 2007, it was very bittersweet because I saw so much of ourselves in this movie. When you think of Seth Rogen, please do not think about weed jokes. Think about the hilarity of everyday experiences. But yes also weed. 'Knocked Up' is a good one for this.
The best part of the depictions of the three main characters, is that the only one who is lying about the way they really feel is Seth, cuz mclovin is truly just trying to have fun and get laid, Evan actually wants more than sex from Becca, and Seth really likes Jules but acts like he's just trying to get laid.
At the end, when they part ways for their girls, and you feel sad: Thats why you let him play games with the boys and stfu. He already gave up his whole life for you.

Out of all the countless "coming-of-age"/high school movies made over the years, this one is probably the most true to the real-life American high school experience at least in terms of dialogue and the awkward way in which the characters interact. Such a funny movie
Omg, I saw this movie when I was a junior going into my senior year in high school and damn this brought back memories of simpler times. Still wish I spoke to more of my friends from that time but almost all of them have moved on with their lives. One of the best movies I've ever seen and honestly, for a good laugh and pick me up, gotta watch this movie.
I saw this movie in the theaters in my 20's with another Army buddy. Both of us brought our European wives (which is how we got to be friends to begin with, our SO's met each other in English a Second Language class), who got probably nothing about what was happening in the movie. The two of us that attended American High Schools were so consistently out of breath laughing that we couldn't even explain what was happening so they'd be able to follow.
$97 for all that booze? That's nuts, even for 2007 lol. But then again, he was likely buying nasty cheap ass alcohol for $15 to $20 like many young adults do.
On the DVD Release that Michael Cera dancing silhouette is in the background ... and it doesn't loop for an hour. Yes, Michael Cera danced for a solid hour for the DVD menu
For some reason this ending always gets me too. You wouldn't expect it from a movie like this. And as for the things talked about in this movie, a lot of it was exaggerated at least compared to the boys i grew up with. We started acting similar to it in the early teens but most of us calmed down before the end of high school. I was always more like Michael Ceras character when it came to the ladies though so i can't relate to the crazy remarks made😂 Also loved the laugh snort. I do those as well.
SuperBad is an awesome flick. Emotionally and feelings wise i think it very much hits the feels and laughs that us gen xers got in the 80s with all our John Hughes movies. by that i mean it was really funny, but also had a hint of those good youth life lessons and personal growth. It's like a bit of Weird Science mixed with some 16 Candles but updated. I think it nails it. They don't make em this good often enough.
If you like these Apatow style comedies, I would recommend "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." It's one of my desert island movies, it's so incredibly good from start to finish.
Another unexpectedly great movie that's written and directed by Seth Rogan is 50/50. It's a little bit more on the drama side but still very funny and heartwarming. It's also based on a true story about him and one of his best friends.
Yes, that's what teenage boys talk about; imagine walking around with something that has a mind of its own attached to the front of your body and a mere swift breeze in the right shorts will have it reaching for the sky...ALL the time. It does not sleep, it has no logic, it does not need food, it does not quit. So, yeah we talk about it as a distraction to turn down the dial, or we go insane, or feral.
This came out the year after I graduated high school. I remember the first time my friends and I saw the McLovin fake ID scene. We laughed for seriously 20 minutes. Had to pause the movie. The picture, the name, everything. One of the funniest moments in movie history, haha.
To break your wrist shooting sideways you would need a gun with a very big calibur. Most Police use 9mm, 40acp or .45. You would need something like a .50 and even then you would probably be ok but it would defiantly hurt. If you had a gun that was a 40acp/.45 that was a fully automatic pistol type weapon, you might also get an injury.
Asking if teenage boys are like that, is similar to asking if teenage girls are all like Mean Girls.
The answer is both yes and no
This was my era of highschool and it's preety accurate
"Is that what teenage boys talk about?"
Never. We all simply discussed how we could be better gentleman to the ladies.
Yes!
And how we can become better custodians of the environment.
Mostly about being gentlemen though.

Oh dude this gets eveytime in both ways, friendship is to be taken as granted time goes by too fast
Old School, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Super Troopers, Talledega Nights, Accepted
Fun fact.. They actually danced for like an hour. Referring to the opening credits. YOu would think they looped it.. they didn't lol
On the DVD Release that Michael Cera dancing silhouette is in the background ... and it doesn't loop for an hour. Yes, Michael Cera danced for a solid hour for the DVD menu
22:15 am I the only one who caught the song playing in the background 😂😂😂
I freaking love this movie, Seth Rogen is a comedy genius
Yes❤ Just rewatched again today and then I see you watched it too. So excited to watch you see it.❤❤❤
Eurotrip. You will love it!
Bill Hader's series.. BARRY.. is amazing. It's finished, 4 seasons.
“Is this what teenager boys talk about?”
Nope. We were in the bathrooms singing the Halo theme.
Another unexpectedly great movie that's written and directed by Seth Rogan is 50/50. It's a little bit more on the drama side but still very funny and heartwarming. It's also based on a true story about him and one of his best friends.
Your personality is dope, thanks for the laughs 😂
gotta love those "FUNNIEST movie I’ve ever SEEN" and the person laugh 3 times the whole video
Looks like "Not Another Teen Movie" should be next in the queue
To break your wrist shooting sideways you would need a gun with a very big calibur. Most Police use 9mm, 40acp or .45. You would need something like a .50 and even then you would probably be ok but it would defiantly hurt. If you had a gun that was a 40acp/.45 that was a fully automatic pistol type weapon, you might also get an injury.
This is the end is a movie you definitely gotta watch
