It remains to be seen whether this game offers enough uniqueness, but I will state this - I'll watch any single player game you try. I do so enjoy your gameplay.
From what I've seen so far, which isn't much to be honest, I do think there is enough difference to make it interesting :)

Have seen a couple of other youtubers do this game, but never watched any of them. Then I saw one that was by OhnoCoho, and here I am, watching it. :)
Gobo is a long and slender root vegetable that resembles a tree root. Its actually a member of the daisy family. Has a mild, earthy flavor and is also used for making tea.
Time of day was at the bottom of the map. Not an actual hour and minute time, but it did say "Evening".
It said you had to assign people to houses. So, perhaps until you assign someone to that house, its open season?

I admit to not knowing of gobo until this game. I've heard of burdock root but never tried it... at least, not knowingly ;)

That is a good point about houses. There was mention of assigning yourself to a job so why not assigning yourself to a house too? So much to learn!

Delighted to see you are taking a look at this game. I'm a Subsistence fan but occasionally watch you doing Medieval Dynasty as well. However, have bought Sengoku as love the Japanese theme and looking forward to trying it. Welcome back to the land of the living, you've been missed 😊

When I lived in Florida there were bugs "Love Bugs" and they would be so thick that they plastered themselves to your car and if you didn't wash them off quick they would dry on it and when you cleaned the car they sometimes pulled the paint off. Your story of the beautiful pink blooms on the trees triggered my response to what you were saying: )

Farthest Frontier allows you to move most buildings. It is an excellent mechanic as it allows you to reshuffle as your village/city grows.
Oh yeah, I've wanted something like it in many games... particularly Medieval Dynasty ;)

Thank you! I must admit that there are a couple of reasons why my pronunciation of Japanese words isn't completely terrible. The main one is that I worked for a Japanese man for a short while and he explained the structure to me. It is remarkably simple :)

You can rename your village when you are looking at your village set up. I have not tried renaming the houses just yet tho.

To eat, right-clicking and hot-bar isn't the only way. You can also select a food item in your inventory and then press E to eat.
Yep, I used right-click to eat out of the inventory and then did the hotbar method as well.
I seem to have trouble using the E key though. I'll have to try it again :)

Don't think it was game stutter when chopping trees, your stamina was low and i think that's why you weren't choping every time.
Looks like a nice game game, wish i had a better computer to play it !
Yep, that is exactly what it was. I wasn't watching my stamina like I should have and I let it drop enough that I couldn't chop. Oops!
You can have the character climb up the majority of the rock outcroppings and harvest from the bushes as well as harvesting the bird's eggs and the nests.

I can not find an answer for my question. Are you forced to build where there are ruins or can you build everything roads, houses, and so on everywhere. So you decide where to live and such
You can build anywhere from what I understand. I just liked the idea of rebuilding the wreck of the old village. It's a nice location :)

Its a good game, very pretty, some fun can be had. But having the Japanese genre puts it as a niche game. Just cant always follow along.
I'm generally enjoying the change in genre to be honest. It's a nice change :)
