Sengoku Dynasty is developed by Superkami, Medieval Dynasty is developed by Render Cube. Diffrent studios. But both games are published by Toplitz Productions, that's why there are so many similarities.
I've been keeping an eye on this game for a wile, but no money right now to buy it Thanks for show it to the comunity and for playing it to everyone know the game Props from Portugal 🇵🇹
The game is published by the same company, but it's not developed by the same dev team/studio as Medieval Dynasty. I'm sure it'd be a much better game if that were the case. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad game, I love playing both games, but the devs of MD do some things a lot better.
Be that as it may. Render Cube (MD) are doing great things, however their pace of development is quite slow compared to Superkami. Sengoku Dynasty is getting big releases quite frequently. 1.0 is even coming in November. Things are looking good compared to Medieval Dynasty which has only focussed on Co-op and their release on other platforms.
I dug Medieval Dynasty and was so looking forward to Sengoku Dynasty, but now, knowing it's not from the same developer, I'm not so sure. And now I see there's also a Sengoku Life Simulator trying to beat Sengoku Dynasty to the punch with the same type of game by another developer entirely. Not so sure about all of this, as I was so looking forward to Render Cube doing Sengoku Dynasty. Your thoughts?
I played this a little while ago prior to the update. There are quite a few similarities to Medieval Dynasty (I’ve played both!) however they both maintain their own quirks and characteristics which is great One starting tip though is that if you decide not to rebuild the burnt out village, then I would recommend demolishing the burnt out buildings as you get loads of planks and charcoal which will become useful for ‘heating’
I was wondering about that, why doesn´t he just demolish those buildings to get materials. I think he chose to show the entire "new player" experience by using basics and the traditional way of doing things. Or he simply forgot 😀
glad that you mentioned the fact that the destroyed village can actually be entirely recycled by demolishing the buildings. if you had not i was going to comment on it.
@@spaindagoat2190 haha thanks for the feedback. In most of the video I didn't mind it but in the tinelapses it would have been nice without it, just not possible unfortunately
I appreciate the bell clearly establishing the width and breadth of your territory, I love making walls and such to mark the space that I have to work within. I also love that the resources are accessible in your village radius for crafting, and the inventory being slot/number based instead of weight feels fantastic after playing medieval dynasty.
I seen this after playing medieval dynasty and wondered if it was any better/as good. Ty for this video. Kinda looks like they've put a bit more into this one.
one thing that irritated me a little in medieval dynasty was the storage houses. BIG house with a tiny chest inside that had all the items in it. wish the inside of the house changed depending on what you put in the chest , so it starts to look like a full house
So I love Medieval Dynasty and I first discovered this when it came out in early access over a year ago. I played it through in it's entirety and now that it's been fully released, I'm already enjoying the new updates.
Love the video very much so. Encouraged me to start my own first run. One note though: The music chosen during the timelapses is very immersion breaking. I am sure there are period appropriate pieces available for free as well. (I am aware that this is rather nitpickey but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Sometimes one needs the nudge from an outsiders perspective)
Thanks I appreciate the idea. I have had several comments from people saying they really liked the music though so I'll probably keep it pretty similar
I do prefer the way Bellwright does things, from the get go your villagers will help with whatever you are doing. If you build your first hut, they will help with that and the way to put villagers to work is a lot more intuitive.
@@AurioDK Yeah they could make changes with population and assigning jobs better i find the way it's been done fiddly Be nice if you could do it all in one menu option. Haven't played Bell. There is 1.0 out next month it's meant to be a fairly big update so will be interesting to see what is coming.

it's going to be at about 25:15 in the next vid - Wanted to make it easier for you to find so you don't think I'm baiting you to watch the whole vid just for a response to your question! :)

@@Kysen Hmmm, yeah. I bought the game a while back and had to refund as the game just didn’t run on the Steam Deck (black screen after menu) so I had hoped it was improved from that point. I see a lot of negatives currently re-running this game on Steam Deck. :(
You should show how you downloaded the game I tried many times and there downloading was confusing instead of just downloading the game you had to do extra steps to get it to download.
@@Kysen I bought it when it first came out it told me to access new files copy and paste stuff you didn’t have any of those problems just could press download?
This is the first video I see from you, and I don't want to seem rude, but I feel sometimes you're talking just to talk. You're non-stop talking and it's sort of stressful to listen to tbh.
I bought the game today on epic games. I don't know why it look a bit different than in the video. The quests are different, some of the buildings look different, quest marker doesn't even show up, there's no difficulty/custom selection, even the character's health/hunger/stamina bar look different. It seems like the game is not updated in epic games? I'm confused.
Its kinda hard taking "advise" from a guy that played *medieval dynasty* but seem like someone who never played that game. You can edit the plot of houses by placing a window here or moving the door there.. That has been in *medieval dynasty* for aslong as i can remember yet you only noticed it here in a different game? *Weird*
