As someone who has been in love with Warhammer Fantasy since I was 10 years old, this is my all-time most anticipated moment in gaming. Long live Immortal Empires, crowning achievement of a world and a game unrivaled.
I know man, right? Feels like I've been waiting for this for a lifetime and it's finally almost here.
It's amazing isn't it? I dreamed of a game like this as a kid, and now I'm getting towards middle-age, and it's finally a reality.
@@incurableromantic4006 lord of the ring play a lot of role. Even i imagine an orc vs human with clay as a kid. But this game take it to next level but with even more roster. Elves, orc, human, dwarves, rat, lizard, vampire etc. What kind of kid back then will hate it after watching lord of the ring.
When I was a kid in 2005, I remember wishing a fantasy Total War game. Little did I know that such an enormous project would end up a reality.

I was a child when I first fell in love with Warhammer, and I dreamed of a video-game like this. Now I'm moving towards middle-age, and that game I dreamed of all those years ago, is a reality.
I don't mean to be too melodramatic, it's only a computer game - but this is a little bit of a special moment for me.
The people who hated the mechanics of the base game in 3 are valid in their desires, but I am with you. This is what I have dreamed about for 30 years. All the table top campaigns with friends you thought man would this be a great video game. But the NES was not up to snuff lol. But this map, with this many races, and 86 lords on day one, this is a masterpiece.

This looks incredible. And I'm really glad the narrator has stayed through all three games and all the DLC. His voice is perfect for all of this.
Yes they need to treasure and keep that actor. His role in this trilogy has been stellar. And Im glad with game 1 that they decided eventually to bake his character into the story of the trilogy. Its a wonderful way to give a narrator, in game tutorial aid and more a reason and an existence within the world. I find this great narrative and gameplay design.

I love at 5:30. "Sometimes, carried on the whisper of an ice laced breeze, he hears the name... Daniel." This line just shows how much attention CA pays to the community, even if sometimes people don't think they do.
It was the devs themselves who came up with that name though.

@@zrize101 They used it in a trailer showcasing him, after that it stuck as a meme and I agree, the fact they referenced it here means they pay attention. Otherwise it would have been a one off joke only in that showcase

When the narrator said "forging of an immortal empire" I got goosebumps. I am very excited. Time for Bob the Builder to build his empire.

This really showcases what an incredible achievement this trilogy is. It has single-handedly revived interest in Warhammer fantasy, and every person who has worked on this immense project should be very proud.

@@daedrawarrior1790 TBH, Warhammer 40K, especially the RTS has made some great success as wel, i feel 40K and Fantasy both have their ups and downs. However, they should have polished this diamand they allready possesed instead of leaving it and try to replace it with Age of Sigmar and such, even though they used new models and polished some of it in there.
Here is me hoping for a Netflix or whatever series / movies of 40k and Fantasy.

Daniel unironically is actually a pretty epic name, and it being given to a villain makes it all the more provoking. It is Hebrew for "God is my judge".

This was an outstanding showcase, the map looks amazing, the animation was great, even hilarious at times and the narration, excellent! What a beautiful campaign map to paint red with the blood of enemies. 10/10 will watch again

Wow. This really feels like Creative Assembly's magnum opus. I can't think of another game that has been so thoroughly fleshed out as this one. Can't wait to play it!
Not to be too cynical, and this does look incredibly promising, but about 4 months ago WH3 was sentenced to death by most people, and it still has to deliver on some promises. I have good hope it will surpass even WH2, but we are not quite there yet, I feel.

CA has gone nuts with Warhammer 3 the past months compared to launch I love it so much
Their launches are usually quite rough, but they have proven time and time again with Warhammer in particular that they will go the extra mile to polish things up and bring many improvements.

It's been six years since the first TW: Warhammer game. This is a momentous occasion, not just for Warhammer but in all of gaming. I hope that the devs will keep adding and improving things for years to come. Long live the Immortal Empire! :P

@@Viewlss There is a mod called Border Patrol or smth like that which spawns a small to medium sized army for free controlled by AI but with your faction, one per complete province. It auto attacks any enemy in that province.
As someone who has spent far too much time staring at the old map, I’m amazed by how vibrant the new map looks. Good work CA

This looks so damn good! I can´t believe that this is actually happening! This will be one of the BEST games of my whole life! The start postitions are perfect for incredible scenarios to occure every time you play a new campaign. Just the fact that Chaos deamons are now all over the world and old lore can be role played now, is simply AMAZING! To see what new circumstantial new lore it will spawn now will be a treat!
Just seeing N´Kari in Ulthuan and Nurgle deamons in Lustria almost made my mind explode! The potential for fun new scenarios to explore there, with the heavy lore of WH fantasy behind them all, it´s just too much for words.
This makes me beyond happy! This is a treasure of EPIC proportions!

I played so much of TWW2 mortal empires. The sandbox style of this game mode is just perfect. There's always a faction that I want to play in this game. I'm so excited to play vampire counts and orcs in regions surrounded by new factions.
I remember watching videos of "possible factions in WH1" back in 2015. No one even dreamt about WH3 and the fully flashed out world. This is beyond amazing. Congratulation CA and Thank You!
What do you mean? The full map complete with at least Cathay was always the expectation. It were the Khuresh and Nippon who were stranded in the air.

When wh2 mortal empires came out, I posed the question if they would go as far as Cathay and nippon, I was met with doubt and that we would end in the dark lands.

Very true, but it was actually southern Cathay that took my breath away.
I thought ulthuan didn’t look as lush as warhammer 2 but it might just be the new lighting. I think it still looks soo good though! It’s one of them cases where it’s just different and I think I’ve just gota get used to it.

As a history snob who barely started playing the warhammer total war series 2 years ago. I am happy I finally caved in. Once I did I bought both games with all dlc, and patiently waited for the third. And now that I have put in over 300 hours in warhammer 3 alone, I cannot wait for the thousands of hours this will bring. The only total war that has me putting this much time is Rome 2. Only because antiquity is my favorite part of history. I knew nothing about the warhammer universe before playing but man I bet true fans who played actual miniature war games are the most excited they’ve been and I’m happy for all you real fans! I’m excited can’t wait to play and watch all the videos from the total war and warhammer communities!

Yep. Me too. I always disliked un-historical titles, but it become obvius that people involved in this game, know and care about WH unniverse, and that is something you rarely see this days. After being a grinch about it, i tried TW:WH last year and it was a nice experience. Now playing TW:WH 3 looking forward to play Chaos Dwarfs :P
@@islandthunder4011 Hell yeah! Personally started with Warhammer 2 but I purchased warhammer 1 and all the doc’s once I realized I loved the game. Then I bought all Warhammer 2 dlcs which I’m seriously glad I did because they carry over. More games need to take note of this. Combining previous entries and dlcs to make one gigantic game with ALL of the content across 3 different games. It’s amazing. I normally haven’t cared too much for the Dwarves but man these chaos Dwarves have got me hyped. Very original idea and I love it. They give me the orcs from Tolkiens universe vibe.

when all is said and done this will be the definitive Total War game that every other title will have to live up to. A ridicolously diverse set of factions spread across an entire globle. Warhammer Fantasy battles and the TW formular are a match made in heaven... or the realm of Tzeentch. If only totalBiscuit could have seen this. May he rest in peace.
Now we just need a good rpg with the graphics of vermintide 2 ;)

That was absolutely gorgeous. One of the most hype things I have seen since Elden Ring. Also, CA’s shout out to the community with the Daniel line was very appreciated, especially now a days when it seems like so many IPs hate their most die hard fans.

@@patinho5589 In his first gameplay reveal, they showed that you could name him, and went through a bunch of daemon names before landing on Daniel, Daniel the Daemon. It stuck.

I love that they used the name immortal empires. Was worried they wouldn't do it since it was something the community came up with, but it really is very fitting.

Most historical eras would have no need for most of the globe, and one of the best Total Wars in Shogun 2 had very little faction diversity.

@@Villain_in_Glasses I don't disagree, but any set of real life factions are going to comparatively be far more similar to eachother. If you treat warhammer factions as the baseline you are just asking to be disappointed and find different factions boring.

The promise we were given when they laid out their vision in releasing total war warhammer 1 is finally being fulfilled. You guys didn't just deliver, you excelled. This is going to be epic. Many, many years of entertainment are about to be had for millions of people. Thank you guys. This is amazing.
I think the biggest thing im excited about is more variety of races near each other. In mortal empires the first 100 turns was against your own race and many races you would likely never encounter. I can't wait to take on the dark elves, lizardmen, and tomb Lords as wood elves

@@ash074 People didn't like the campaign mechanic. People didn't love the previous campaign either. Its the full world we are looking forward to. No it won't be perfect, but it removes the mechanics people hated the most at launch so that's not a fair set of expectations
@@ash074 yea the game still doesn't even feel like 1.0. People getting excited early af and forgetting everything as usual. They have a tendency to f up the potential of this game.. just look at the ugly siege rework tower defence thing. Imagine you will be popping towers all over the massive map like warts on an ogres arse.

The Voice of the narrator, not just the voice actor's voice, but the writing for it, the flirting with alliteration, assonance, and consonance without becoming gimmicky, it sounds like a scholar trying to talk to a wider world and motivate them while having enough fun to stay invested himself and it's perfect.

Those Highlights of Estalia and Tilea are very exciting - Looking forward to future DLC for those factions as well as updated Italian/Spanish structure models for those buildings once their released! Amazing work
Yeah. There are plenty of factions that could be added to Total War Warhammer. Off the top of my head, there are the Southern Realms of the Border Princes, Tilea and Estalia. The Norscan Dawi would interesting, maybe with some unique units for Dwarf Factions, provided you can get as far as Norsca. We have the Amazons and Jungle Halflings. Though fitting them in Lustria would be tricky. We also have human nations like Albion and Araby. Though Albion is currently under Malekor, and Araby is curretly occupied by Brettonia. There are also rumor of Fishmen in the depths. Near Cathay, we have Ind, Nippon and Khuresh. The Hinterlands of Khuresh being home of the engimatic Snakemen. In the Darklands, we have the Chaos Dwarfs, and Hobgoblins. Maybe some of these can be mini campaigns for players. Win those, you graduate to the main map. Thoughts?

@@marcusbergman6116 RoR? What does that mean? As for Jungle Hobbits, I heard there was a spin off tabletop game where you can play as such, setting up traps, beating more well equipped enemies. They would also be more Incan inspired, compared to Aztec/Mayan Lizardmen or Amazons. Though, if they just recieve mention or mercenary group, fine. I include them for the sake of completeness for Warhammer Fantasy. Like Kobold Goblins, Or swamp gnoblars/ Boglins.

Very nice use of multiple previous DLC and Trailer soundtracks. When Grom’s theme hit the history leading to this campaign suddenly seemed that much more impressive.

Sean Barrett is a venerable voice who narrated many Black Library audiobook. I've listened to him since even before game 1 and he keeps getting better.

Holy CR*P !!!!! This looks incredible ! As a mortal empires player (well over 2k hours in mortal empires), this is a dream come true. I was expecting a lot and yet this easily outperformed those expectations by a substantial amount. It looks gorgeous. Combine this with the blood pack and I won't be touching any other game for years !

Cathay's river system makes me want to play Lokhir and I've hard avoided dark elves. Maneuvering the black ark through those seem like a blast and more ports for more black arks. Maybe it'll even be the first time I complete a campaign with a dark elf.

Dark Elves are one of my fave races to play. The Krakenlord can dominate the sea if you play him well. Good luck!

Delves are a ton of fun. They have so many excellent units which are all quite specific in function and how they work together. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I think you'll love 'em :D
since i saw lokhirs starting position i immediatly decided to start with him my first IE campaign!

Something was really bothering me about how familiar the advisor sounded here... Turns out I just listened to an entire audiobook narrated by the voice actor and didn't realize it. He's very good.

You bet it´s not over, there are so many things the Warhammer Fantasy world has to offer Total War, so many lords, factions and races
Just imagine the mods that will come out of this! This trilogy will be kept alive and improved for many years to come by the community.

I can't wait to try all my favorites in immortal empires. Throgg is going to be so much more fun with all his new allies around him. It will also give me a lot more breathing room to play my favorite faction the ogre kingdoms.
Oh god, that was so cool. The map looks amazing, and it was fascinating seeing the various faction leaders and monsters walking around on it as we got a tour.
I never timed it on mortal empires but 13 minutes to just scroll through the whole map is insane!

Every lord looks so much fun to play, the map is amazing and this walkthrough was sooooo good, I've already booked a day off work. And can we all appreciate how CA have caught onto the meme that is Daniel? Wouldn't you be proud if you were the person who came up with that, your meme has literally been immortalized and taken all the way to the top. Also the reference to the soviet infamous "not one step back" order was also really neat, as war Franz shouting one of his most famous lines, a particular favorite of mine and my friends' i might add. I love these sort of references that people can pick up on, please continue this in the future.
CA came up with the name Daniel themselves in the Daemon Prince faction reveal video. The community loved it so they made it official.

seeing all these monsters i suddenly have the graving for the heroes of might and magic setup where packs of monsters fitting the enviroments are guarding, mines, treasures and artifacts you can take once you defeat or subjugate them; that would be SOO cool within the TW2 campaign map and add something other than just fighting big armies vs other nations ^^

With a world so vast, it'd be cool if there were co-op objectives for when all players belong to the same race. For instance, if you play as Thorgrim and Ungrim, your job is to retake every single Dwarfhold; it doesn't matter which one of you holds which as long as together you have them all.

Campaign objectives already allow it being controlled by a military alliance (which you have in Co-op)
Tbf that's already the case, because Campaign Objectives can be completed via military alliance.

The Immortal Empires campaign has no equivalent in Total War. It's going to be damn hard for their historical franchise to beat this.
I think only a massively expanded total war empire would be able to compete.
