I really dig how they did Valkia's voice so far, judging by the few clips we got. Her attack animations look amazing too. The lack of blood is starting to get ridiculous though.
Luckily blood is coming around the same time as this DLC if the roadmap is to be taken at face value.
the lack of blood atm is really a dealbreaker for me. But I know its gonna get "fixed"

@@dwex39 they already stated that if you own Blood for the Blood God from the other games then this one (like they did for TWWH1 and then TWWH2) will be free.
So while you are technically not incorrect... If you already bought the 'Paywall' then you won't be hindered on it's release...

god I love these let's play videos, I hope all upcoming DLC lords will have one they are great.
the second one was pretty terrible though. They forgot to show off new units etc.

This might be my favorite Let's play. It was very well done. I think Azazel was really good too but since he went first he got to show off a lot of exciting new stuff and the other lords weren't able to. But this was solid. And I love how they wrote the reveal trailers into the Let's plays. Well done CA.

Valkia's stats appear stupidly good - probably without any trait farming and the like - and her animations appear even better.
Kinda would hope so, she's a small entity with likely no mount capabilities. If she's going to stand a chance in actual brawling she's going to need serious stats
@@edwardsantiago9109 She does seem to have an AoE attack with knockback, so at least disengaging might not be too hard for her.

@@4f52 It is for fighting larger entities in melee, being stun locked etc.
Against ranged units smaller is better, and with flying if she has great turning capabilities, you can easily use her to waste enemy ammo like LegendofTotalWar cheese strats.
But yeah small/low mass entities are pushed by cav, monster infantry or SEM all the time
@@jukahri Wished they shown that in her reveal trailer. Especially after she took all those hits and took to the sky.
That would’ve been the perfect follow-up and demonstration of that ability IMHO.
Ok I love her attack animations. Flying and landing with a bang. Bursting into the air and slamming back down. Absolutely will probably be my first playthrough in IE after playing a warm up campaign

Hey, if you're having problems loading old saves because of the updates, there is a button to ignore the version check on saves. This may or may not cause problems if the update brings fundamental changes to the game, but it's an option to try at least.

I also hope they pronounce it correctly - the Zha in Zharr is supposed to sound like the 'sia' in 'Asian' 'Asia' 'Rhodesia' etc. It's meant to be the 'je' sound in French.

I wish they had added more missing monster units for warriors of chaos like chimera, slaughterbrute and mutalisk vortex beast

My guess is those will come in Norsca DLC.
Still got a full scale norsca rework for adding units, and the 2-3+ added for each dlc lord they come out with. And then they might also throw in some more stuff when they get confed working for chaos. (not sure its actually possible with the mechanics.....but I'm really hoping there is some way to recruit beastman units into chaos armies. I want to throw some Minotaurs into Khorne armies, I just prefer them so much over chaos spawn.)

Whenever Khorne tells her to go for a walk, Valkia's Restraint Level has gone to Zero upon the enemies of the Skull Throne.
To be fair, it's a very enthusiastic walk.

to be fair, Immortal Empires launching at the end of the month is guaranteed to revitalize the player base
Dont pre-order there literally is no reason too. The discount will be there for the entire first week of the release. Wait for reviews.

@@AliothAncalagon you literally don't know anything about the quality of the content you will receive. It might be horribly buggy or unbalanced. Would CA abandon the dlc? Probably not, still from a consumer perspective pre-ordering is objectively bad.

Seeing a giant bite off someone's head without blood feels awful. Really hate how CA handled the blood dlc.
Its past ridiculous at this point, they had better upgraded what it looks like now.
I love how the music from the trial by fire played into this let's play, especially later.

3:34 min. The stats of Valkia are INSANE....
I caught that too and thought the same! Bear in mind, that’s a mid campaign stat line for her, not her base stats. She likely has a truck load of skills and equipment beefing that up. Even so, that’s still a scary character! Very meaty melee defence in particular.

This editing, and even the narrators jokes, did so much better at making us fear Valkia.
The whole Valkia's Let's play was the best from all of them but I am still going to play Vilitch because I love his model and magic in Warhammer. In Immortal Empires I am going to start as either Kairos, Festus or (and probably winner) Belakor because of so many cool stuffs he has.
Azazel just a walking L at this point, I'm so dissapointed that he got (at least from the gameplay reveal trailer) way less than the others and it looked so boring... I was so hyped for slaanesh :c

Yeah, this Let's Play is probably my favorite thus far. And I'm pretty satisfied with each of the CoCs. Not completely sure which one I'll try first.
I really like these let's plays. They're memey enough to not be too ad-like but not too silly to be cringe. Really hitting the sweet spot there, good Job guys!

Valkia's voice is amazing
She voices half of the women ingame tho. I mean thats ok with so many characters and all but her yelling is already everywhere in W2.

@@ASoulReaver1 No one's been put down. She voiced Aranessa really well for example yet very similar to Valkia here whereas Queek and Lothar would represent the uniqueness you're speaking of.
It is also not a big deal since the game is so big and the VA quality is there, but the Alith Anar or Gotrek treatment would be something really cool, even if it might be unreasonable to ask for.
@@MrHiglon it's not unreasonable to ask for multiple VA's in a game as large and well funded as TWWH3. The question is whether you should when you already have such a good cast. Uniqueness in VA's is not about different actor's though, it's about changing voices and making different tones and volumes to make different characters out of the same VA, and this actress is phenomenal in doing that...
Well... Them and the Sound Department as well, gotta give credit where credit's due :)

Not sure if it was already a feature but I noticed a Giant vs Giant fight animation. If it's new it gives me hope that CA will add a bunch of new unique animations for older units. Would love to see some for my tomb king boys.
