y’all better stop dragging me for the way i say dandruff. I SAID WHAT I SAID ... 😩🥺🥺
Coco Chinelo lmaoooo it’s okay it’s okay😂 I say it like that too and honestly Ian see nothing wrong with saying it that way until I’m scrolling inna comments and seeing how it’s really pronounced😂😂😂
I think I pronounce it the same way too
Coco Chinelo how else do u pronounce it ?? 💀
Period.
It's funny because she says it right and wrong interchangeably, like...why lol
“she hasn’t seen 2020 yet” she doesn’t have to 💀
😂😂😂
am dying 😂
adrian 😁🤣
She prob shouldn’t...for her own good
the feeling of washed hair after having braids in for a long time is like no other 😭
forreal!!
True dat
Fr😭
Literally the best feeling!!!
Yes
ANNDD YOU WORE A BLACK SWEATER IM ROLLINGGGG💀💀😭 chichi nooooo
The “Dandriftttt”
i pronounce weird 😣😣😣
Is that not how you pronounce it tho, bc my whoole family says it the same thing
@@blujay3557 No its Dandruff.. 😀😀😀
I say it that way too... That’s the only way I’ve heard it pronounced.😂
😅
sis when you get out of quarantine and can go to the beauty supply store get you a sulphur 8 scalp conditioning grease. i had in braids for over a month and i didn't get not one flake.
i bought that off amazon a couple days ago. it works really well!
Wild growth hair oil works really well too for keeping everything moisturized. I’ve had my braids in for almost 2 months now and I’m about to take them out now and not a single flake‼️ (With washing braids in between though)
Ashley C do you wash your braids or just your scalp?
Cay H I focus mainly on my scalp as to not disturb the braids too much, I use the shampoo+water in a spray bottle method and let the rest run through my braids when I rinse them out :)
Pinky Swear RIGHTTT it works soo good
Gurrll, the "dandrifftt" is killin me 😂 My hair's been bad but neva this bad 🤣
😂😂😂😂
natural hair vid ideas:
- do a wash n go
- updated wash day routine
- do a natural hairstyle (twistout, braidout etc)
Anna Muma yep yep and yuppp
i only recently learned how much effort african-american ladies have to put into caring for their hair and honestly.... respect girls. yall have some beautiful hair, but the ENERGY yall put into it. my white ass could never
Girl the blow drying process ✋🏼you dont even know😭
When it's yours, you ain't got a choice, Sis.
Thank you, but don't think that it's this much work for all of us or that most of us let our scalps get this bad
@@bubblegumBri well, she has a scalp condition, which is why her jacket is covered in so many flakes. i have dandruff as well, and she can’t really LET her scalp get that bad, but she could wash it while it was in the braids, which is why she was saying she really regretted not washing/moisturizing her hair beforehand.
@@naomi8348 Ohh ok. I hope y'all recover from your scalp conditions, fingers crossed
nobody:
me: GIRL I CANT LIE
lmao. that’s my senior quote for my school yearbook.
Song name???
adore._mj lmao just search up “girl i cant lie” and it might pop up💀it’s most likely in the description too
lI Unknown Il don’t you think I already tried that ..💀
adore._mj it’s p**sy on my mind
whoever braided your hair did good bc the braids still look pretty intact
But can we talk about the new growth!🤩🤩🤩🤩
aww thank you!
When you took off your bonnet, your hair looked like that wig Shemar Moore wore in that Tyler Perry movie🤣🤣
lmao.... exactly
Lmfaoooo don’t do her😭😭😭
I literally don’t care how dirty it is it just has to be healthy but look at your HAIR GROWTH YESSSSS
All I was paying attention to lmao
“Damn I’m gonna be in the shower for like an hour bruh, I’m really bout’ to pass out in the shower when I have to wash this off.” IF THIS ISN’T ME I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS, IM IN THE SHOWER FOR 2 HOURS+ FOR WASH DAY SMH
I think I passed out once 🤫
i pass out all the time :(
I never do my hair in the shower unless it is braided. I find it so much easier to wash my hair in the tub. No one else seems to do this and I don’t know why.
i feel like you could rock some mini twists... but we love to see the growth lmfao
i be rockin mini twists all the time lmao
Ayanna or even like goddess braidssss😍😍
Ur so bold for posting this video
jacket looked like it has sparkles on it afterwards💀
😂😂😂😂😂
💀💀💀
She’s sooo pretty 😍
aww thank you so much 💗💗
She isss
“12 million F L A K E S.” IM LOSING IT LMFAO
“My hair is so dirty” me whenever I take down my box braids that I’ve washed like twice... Lmaoooo I’m exposing myself
Definitely not the only one who takes out their braids with a pen
No I use a comb
@@mylifeison1366 same
Last time i used a pencil💀
😬I use a needle
I use the end of retail comb
3 months!! I couldn't leave it for more than 2 weeks
surprisingly, they didn’t even itch lmao
Neither can I.
Mine is for 2 weeks and its hard BTW I have long thick hair but it's not thick now idek why
Giiirrrll stop! The moment you took off your bonnet was honestly so satisfying to me! Haha actually this whole video was not only a whole mood and me relating because I leave my cornrows/crochet braids in for 3 months too but I’m actually cryyyiiinnggg😂😂😂😂 no judgement here!
Who else just hates it when you take your hair out from braids and it’s grown and then when your wash it shrinks so much 🙄 that’s why wash days are the worst especially for 4c hair like me
Ćhiii ikrrrr its the worst
Ummm...shrinkage is a good thing and you should be proud of it
Nichola James its hard tho.
Rachel Osei what’s hard?
Nichola James its hard having everyone around u telling u that ur hair is so short when I constantly have to say it isnt like they dont stop its so annoying
So Nobody gonna talk about all those new growth and how pretty she is and how clear her skin is ?!!??💗
I leave my cornrows like this ALL the time to the point where my hair starting dreading itself and I had to get my mums help to take the cornrows out🤭 I feel your pain sis
Gemma Mittoo Doesn’t it smell 👀
Tiaira Martin I find that hard to believe😅 even wigs give off a smell when they haven’t been washed for a while
Idk why I'm watching all these videos about African American ladies doing their hair. I'm a Fillipina Canadian 😬Maybe because I have always admired these feirce queens with their gorgeous hair.🥰💕
The booing when u took off your bonnet got me weeak😂😂😂
Your hair is for sure growing Chichi!!😍
idk how because i don’t be touching it 😂😂
Coco Chinelo power of the cornrows💪🏿
Coco Chinelo that’s exactly why it is growing.
Everyone commenting about how she said dandruffs
And I'm here asking myself how can some overstay with protective style for that long 😫
Omg you kinda looked like Kerry Washington when took out the bonnet
idk why but i’ve been getting that a lot recently
@@cocochinelo You favour her a bit when you smile. You're gorgeous, sis. Natural, braids or wigs🤷🏾♂️
We love to see it
can you do a “ how i prep my natural hair for wigs “ ? i noticed your edges look amazing .
I took off my box braids today after 3 months too girl when I tell you that my parting comb broke after trying to get the tangles out 😭😭 I missed her tho, she grew a little 😂
It’s 2am and I’m currently oiling my scalp as a result of watching you take off your bonnet 😭😭
The Afro is a whooole vibe. I can imagine it all styled. You would look mad beautiful
Girl your hair has grown SO MUCH!!!1
It seems to me like she had an allergic reaction or a sensitivity to the oil she was using. Please, please ladies if your hair or scalp is freaking out "STOP" just stop using what ever it is that is doing that to you. It is always best to use organic and simple things if you are not allergic to it. It can be oils, gels, shampoos, conditioners and anything that is making your scalp hurt.
I think she used essential oils and they can irritate the skin/scalp
I was thinking the same thing. I had to switch to completely organic everything cause my scalp does that too. But it finally stopped and it's not chunky and all under my nails when I wash it anymore
You should try a protein treatment on your hair. I would recommend the aphogee two step protein treatment
Sydney Nicole I second this! My hair came back to life after one treatment
I have that! I've never used it before though
Tiara TheAwesome Try it (:
Ok gurl ..u do know that u can wash ur hair while it's in cornrows? It DID NOT have to get this bad.
ChiChi I cant with u rn I swear lol
Well it did make for good content ..and your hair GREW yaaaassss sis inches
I felt like the dandraft was gonna jump in my eyes 😂
Love keeping my cornrows for a long time, hair grows so much 😀
My family are such bullies I could not have cornrows for 3 months + I don’t wear wigs
what's with the hate? she's beautiful. and she said what she said get over it.
4:50 blinking like Hottie from Flavor of Love lmaooo
😂😂😂😂
Girl, wtf…
i know....
YO your Intro hits different like a short edit. It's so cool. Very cool vid btw❤️
Your hair grew so much in just three months!
Not my grandpa’s ashes 🥴🥴😂
Okay but the amount of new growth sis 😍🥴
Over 3 monthsss?!?! Wtf CHICHI😂😂😂💕
IM CRAZY LMAOO ❤️😂
Don’t feel bad about dandruff it’s normal and we all know how long corn rolls take to do ily bby girl your a queen 👑
I love your hair in that afro!!! Looks great :) you should film yourself giving your hair a trim and a hydration routine for it as well as scalp :)
the blinking sound effect had me ROLLING 🤣🤣
And you wore a black sweatshirt so you can see *all* of it LMAOO I get super bad dandruff so I feel you sis
Twist out, braid out, wash n go, mini twists, and Bantu knots!!!!
Seeing your hair growth, makes me want to big chop my hair, and try again 😂
Watching this made my hair itch 😰😰
Omg your hair has grown
i know it’s crazy!
*Pause* Before you start taking down your hair in this video....I just want to salute you for being able to keep it in one style for three months, because some of us could NEVER!!!!!
Loveee the growth though😍😍
DAN- DRIFT in chinelo language. The way you say dandruff SEEEEEEENDSSSSS ME CHINELO GURLLLL
Girl something I learned the hard way is that too much product can also cause flakes, regardless of when you washed your hair. Oiling your hair morning and night was too much, just oiling once every 2-3 days should be enough.
Yesss low manipulation really does work for your hair growth tho😍😍 we love to see it
I would love to see a full wash day video and also how you oil and braid up your hair while you sleep to hold the moisture:):)
Sis you can wash your hair with the braids, and it'll help with moisture and flaking and itching.
Lmaoo😂😂this made my night,supporter from Jamaica 🇯🇲
You are killing me i swear you are so funny
You should try twists they have really got me through this quarantine😭😭
normally when I use "itch relief" or things similar to that, it causes my scalp to be more dry and flakey. Use regular peppermint, castor, or tea tree oil to oil your scalp sis lmao
I'm switching to the wig life style, can cornrow on others but not myself - need to learn real quick cos I'm done with those 5Z hair shit 🥺
My sister live for stuff like this! 😂 she would literally sit and scratch the dandruff out of my hair on a sheet of paper. So she would love to see this transformation.
This made my scalp itch omg
We have to stan all the growth tho😊💛
The relief after detangling it all tho 🥵🙌🏾
Chi Chi you’re mad prettyyy. So much new growth💛.
thank you so much
I would take these down for FREE. OOF IT LOOKS SO SATISFYING I WANNA SCRATTTCCHHHH 😍🙈
That oil did the same to me ☠️ black castor oil and crazy growth oil are better
i’m gonna stop using that
Thotaku M. Yea that oil doesn’t have a lot of natural ingredients so it will cause flaking. 💀That’s why I check the ingredients on my hair oils.
Ur so funny and I love ur personality and ur so pretty 😍😍‼️
aww thank you so much ❤️❤️
Do you put gel on your hair because It could also be a build up up dry gel
yeah, i put gel on my hair almost everyday
putting oil on your scalp can lead to yeast overgrowth which is what causes dandruff. i used to have the same thing happen and i'd get pissed off bc i thought the same thing why is my scalp flaking when im moisturizing it? once i stopped putting oil on my scalp and started using anti dandruff shampoo they went away. if you're opposed to anti dandruff shampoo i recommend trader joe's tea tree oil shampoo.
Girl been there, done that. But let's talk about the growth.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
also just be aware that some oils work as a sealant after you moisturized your hair with like water , cream moisturizer etc . A reason why there was so much dandruff is prolly because you was sealing in dryness. grease helps more with dandruff and dry skin on the scalp . sulfur 8 and blue magic works wonders 🤗‼️
The flakes come from the buildup not from being dry...make sure that you lightly wash your scalp every week or two when you have braids and grease it every week. Do this and you’ll be fiiiine
I use a mix of acv, shampoo, and water in a spray bottle, after I rinse w/conditioner/water/oil mix..then grease it
Tyyy she just likes being nasty
I absolutely love your natural hair 🤩
I used to have really bad dandruff but then I started using sulfur 8 grease and it helped a lot
Its actually soooooo satisfying watching u take it all out and brush all the “dandrift” out ahahhahahaa but idk exactly why ifs just loovely #asmr
This was a fun video. Was getting tired of "wash n gos". Keep up the content fam
THE GROWTH!
This had me LMAOOOO 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This was hilarious!!!
Sis I have seborrheic dermatitis and my scalp looks like that after 3 weeks of not washing it. I have to wash it weekly (not a quick, I mean a full wash day) to keep it clear
I actually really like the fact that you’re using the help of a pen to remove it 😂😂👍🏼
I normally use organic coconut oil so it doesn't irritate the scalp and also caster oil
My hair literally looks the same when I take my braids out, I started to think I had sebborhic dermatitis but I don’t. My scalp is just mad dry.
Braids for 3 months!!! OooooO girl my scalp hurts just thinking of it! 😔
But for real props to you 😄
Lol I don’t braid up my hair but would it be easier to put a bunch of conditioner and loosen up the cornrows while it’s wet? Or would tht make it more tangly ?? Idk I’m fr just curious
Cyan Brown you should use a oil more if you have hair like hers,
That works for some people not others. It makes my hair more tangled. I use oil or Hair lotion (ORS) when taking out any braids..
@@brittneybelgrove9993 lol i have 4b 4c hair..
Well sis we got the same bonnet and I love it 😊😊. Love your vid too💕
Try grape seed oil! It’s not thick like coconut oil so there won’t be any build up. I do water and grape seed oil on my scalp!
Guuuuurl
You're gorgeous 💗🍒
thank you so much!
@@cocochinelo no need, that wasn't a complement, that was a fact 😊💛💛⭐🍂
I am the only one who found this so relaxing 😫😫😫
