On NG+7 this thing is literally impossible. Who the fuck thought making it literally fire every 10 seconds and making the fireballs autoaim deserves scarlet rot in their ass. Thanks for the video bro.
Just did it on NG+7 but with 4 carriable hefty pots, in case you only have 2
4 is enough you only need one refill which is still annoying - you can get a 5th pot in the same area as well
flame protect me plus the visage shield makes the stupid fire balls spam blockable

I’m trying it on NG+7 and I totally agree, scarlet rot all the way! He only does fire balls and nothing else.
This addition to the boss is seriously the worst thing they could have done. On +7, I am not going to fight these guys
Lords Of the Fallen 2024 added some tools on their latest patches that makes that game as challenging as the player wants, it is not east mode at all. Options like loot ramdomizer and restarting the NG+ counter to zero.

Running outside of an enemy's agro range to craft more consumables should not be necessary under any circumstances.
You can have 5 fire pots just throw the 5 pots without pausing and he explodes dying. So it rather is a puzzle
It is a puzzle, not a boss with a health bar. Any giant pot works for this.

I used Ancient Dragons Lightning Strike to trivialize the 4 golems I’ve faces so far, but it literally cannot connect with this particular golem for some reason. Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a whirl

you keep grinding man the effort you put in to help us out is very much appreciated you should do a play through or beating the bosses a certain way i’m doing the pokémon run most the new ashes of war are ok but there pretty cool
I recommend the furnace pots. Used a total of 4 and down he went. Also, amd this is just what I did, flame drake and pearl drake talismans plus 2 and the jar helmet.
I found another strat that's less tedious than this. basically draw the golem close to the cliff by the spirit spring and you can kinda spam jumping up and down on the spring to find safe moments to throw the hefty furnace pots
If you completed Jair Bairn quest, you can equip his talisman for 20% extra damage on pots

The same thing must be done with the Furnace Golem above the "Bridge leading to the Village" point of grace.

That is the first time That, during a blind run, i felt like i needed to look for the solution of a boss fight. How am i suppose to know That i have to use dire against a fucking fire golem. (did i missed a note or something else?) You saved my life with this video
yeah theres a note at the base of shadow keep main gate, if you go right its a note close to an already dead furnace golem saying to not throw pots into its brazier.

There's a note that explicitly tells you that's their weak point and shouldn't be attacked.
@@enman009 yeah my exploration was kinda strange, i Explored all the South of the map before even fighting rellana (i thought it was similar to stormveil and weeping peninsula) , so i had no idea.
@@sorenkk3598 Dear Mogh, no wonder how frustrated you could feel. I just moved in all directions before even fighting Dancing Lion. Many main bosses felt moderate in damage.

The ancient dragon lightning does more damage and you can cast it from horse back. If you get the spacing right you can hit him multiple times with a single cast
A heads up for anyone else trying this, if you get one hit with the pot (I used the furnace one) it staggers them and you can just spam until it dies I'd recommend farming enough until you can just kill him in one go rather than run away and craft like they do here. I think I used an extra one while spamming it but the furnace killed in 3 for me not sure if stats would make it diff for someone else.

I hope they will change this soon bc it doesn't make sense bc you can't even craft item in combat and this boss's detect range is big as hell
The other cover on the hill is closer and lets you throw the pots in without using torrent

His feet are armored up so you can’t attack his legs
This is legit the most terrible boss design in from soft history. Guys, dont forget to wear your Jar helmet for extra pot damage, good luck!
yeah... if you're on NG+7 this isn't possible. He doesn't stop spamming the fireballs, you need to dodge them up close somehow and then bait his arm attack to get an opening and 2 pots barely took 1/3 of his health. It's literally easier to learn his attack patterns and fight him on the ground.

As far as gimmick bosses go, this gimmick really overstayed its welcome. A few pots at most would have got the message across.
The difficulty was mostly in the tedium.

Why can't freezing pots work I would think if he is fire the freezing pots would work better sense freeze would most likely put fire out 🤷

This is THE most disgusting boss. When you get on top of the hill, it's just in constant aggro and there's nowhere to hide. He just kept erupting non-stop and there's no window to attack.
I like the ones you can actually attack but this is so dumb. FIRE POTS?! I literally tried ice pots before looking this up because I thought that made way more sense
How is throwing a pot of fire into an enemy that literally already has a massive FIRE TORNADO in its head supposed to be effective

How do you get up there to the red biome?
If you look on your map, just south of the first big fort you get too there are a few roads that back lead southeast.
The lower one takes you towards the Cerulean Coast, the upper one leads you towards a big pillar landmark. You'll know you are going the right way because you'll run into an NPC on the main road.
Keep searching and you'll find a cave called Dragon Pit. Clear the dungeon (you'll need a leap of faith), and you will end up on one of the inaccessible cliffs. North takes you to jagged peak, south takes you here.

I'm still currently on my first playthrough and I'm taking my time with it, so I haven't even fully unlocked the entire map, but the elden ring wiki should have some of the locations I think.
I think I ran out of too many when it came time to beat these two.. 😢 Any other way? I can only think of a long hit and-run on the surface with Loretta’s triple longbow sorcery
This DLC is full of poorly made and thought-out things, but this golem is certainly one of the worst.

This is so stupid. The one you encounter when you enter the DLC can be hurt and killed by whacking at his ankles.... why would it not work with this thing???
If you look what you are hitting you notice that the other golem had unarmored legs while this one has reinforced ones.
If you dont use spirits dont even bother with this garbage
