You can have functional storage or you can have pretty AND functional storage. Which would you want?? I mean, is that even really a choice??
This easy to build storage cabinet is a great pretty and functional storage solution for any room in the house. Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, living or dining rooms...oh and even your home office! With adjustable shelves and decorative molding, this cabinet isn't lacking in either storage or style.
It's made mostly from plywood with a little decorative trim and some super cute feet to give it some visual interest.

This is a great basic cabinet that can be adapted for so many uses and sizes. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice armoire. Saved it because that would look good in an area for linens or whatever my wife wants saved. Looks GREAT. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, nice. I can do that. Cant wait to get started. Thanks so much.
Pretty and handcraffter girl!! Lovely!
Wow, this cabinet is stunning!!!
that was amazing and also simple enough for my to do it, thanks!
Love this video! I'm going to give it a try for a spot in my bathroom where we need more storage. Subscribed. Thanks!!
Murray State t-shirt! I went there! Crazy because this was the first video I clicked on after searching for DIY armoire and found someone with a t-shirt to a college just a few minutes away from me. Small world!
You are awesome lady!! Excellent Job!!
Thank you for sharing. You are an amazing lady. Love you!!!! Amazing results!
That's impressive, nice work!!!
Wow! Absolutely amazing!
Just found your channel. I am so impressed. I'm 55 yrs old and I'm just learning to paint and flip furniture. And you are 20??? And building it? Very cool.
Hi! Glad you found your way here :) I'm actually 31 ha! But was somewhere in my mid-late 20s when I made this. This is still one of my all time favorite projects! I'm sure you could teach me a think or two about painting and flipping furniture...I HATE finishing and refinishing projects haha.
I've watched this video several times, looking for ideas for a similar project. I can't help noticing the MSU shirt! Anything relating to western KY catches my attention...and great building skills!
Small world!! Go racers!
You are pretty badass! Life goals for sure!
Wow , awesome skills 😎
Awesome ... Great job girls...
That was AMAZING! Go on girl! :)

Thank you! If you wanted to, you could totally build this
Very nice looks very good very good work
Thank you 👍
Wow, impressive!
Thank you 👍
This looks awesome! Pinned it to my "Projects" board on Pinterest. I don't have a closet in my bedroom and there's not enough space to build one. So I've been looking at other options. Absolutely love this and it will help me venture out in building bigger items. Any chance you could throw out a ballpark number on how much this project cost? Thanks in advance! 😊 Can't wait to see what else you build!
Very nice
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thank you 👍
Se garante 👍
hola saludos desde México, disculpa tendrás algún vídeo donde muestres todas las herramientas que usas, la verdad usas algunas que no conozco, saludos
This is great, except I was hoping you could show how to install the hinges for the doors.
How much did you spend doing that ??
I built my kitchen with the help of your videos. I haven't painted the cabinet yet. How are you able to get a cabinet smooth finish with plywood?
I finish cabinet grade plywood just like any other wood. Here’s how I finish my pieces:

@@WoodshopDiaries thank you. I wish I could show you a before and after of my kitchen. I couldn't have done it without your videos
Can you please provide details on the blue, adjustable vise you’re using? I need one!
The pocket hole jig?
@@WoodshopDiaries
The blue vise at 0:23.
That’s a pocket hole jig. You can find a link to it in this post:

Thank you!
How much does all the wood cost? Would it be cheaper for me to buy all this thick wood or for me to buy an amorie? Thank you
A decent hardwood armoir worth your time is going to be north of $500 minimum. If you didn't make mistakes, 3/4 birch plywood is about $50-60 per 4x8, and this uses a few. I'd guestimate ~250 conservatively if you didn't have to buy any other tools.
👍👍👍👍👍
Did you put edge banding on the doors, or just painted?
Edge banded before painting 👍
Do you sell the kit to put this together? I would prefer one with a pole to hang shirts on do you have anything like that?
I don’t sell a kit but I do sell plans you can use to build your own:

MY GOD YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!
Still no plans t be found, url would help plse...
Paul Romanowski I don’t have “pdf” plans for this. But all the measurements and step by step process is in the website in the description.
where did you get the feet?
It’s linked in the blog post in the description 👍
The plan is not free! I went to your link so I could build this for my mom, and it asked for my credit card information. Is the plan free or not?? If not why do i need to put a credit card on there..... im just trying to be careful with my card
James B the instructions on my site are free. However, the downloadable pdf plan is not.
Gotcha, and no problem. I really love your work and will be buying the plan. Thanks 😊
James B I’m sorry for the confusion! I appreciate your support!
What is this tool on 1:46? Does it put nails? It seems like this but I can't see any head of nails on wood after. If anyone knows please enlighten me
It’s a nail gun. You can read all about them and how they work here:

@@WoodshopDiaries Thanks a lot Shara. I run into your channel the other day and found it delightful. But how do you hide those nail heads later? Are they visible on the end result? Are they covered by paint? It's not easy to distinguish that from the video.
Just apply a little putty or filler, sand and paint/ stain as desired. Here a video:

You sell those?
I sell plans to build your own 😊

They were free at the time of the video...it’s a few years old. But they also weren’t formatted in a printable version. Now, they’re formatted in a printable version with easy to follow diagrams and they’re for sale.
