How much does it cost?
Finally a video on DIY a closet without all the fancy tools.
As a builder for the past 20 years, all I can say is RESPECT!!!! You did this 100% the hard way and finished it. Most people have all the power tools necessary and never finish it. Amazing dedication.

Good one, girl. Please buy a stepladder so you remain safe, I once fell from a substandard platform due to exhaustion, I'm one of those women who's a DIY guru

that's a Bosch $150+ drill she has there... I wouldn't put it in the same lleague as humble tools

@@SuperAndroidTutorial That drill IS humble compared with the massive table saws, jointers, edgebanders and other machines many of these channels enjoy flashing around that most home carpenters could only dream of having the money or space to own. At least it's easy to find a cheaper drill!
I agree

I have seen some very professional looking videos of cabinetry and closet making with flawless execution and those have been inspirational. This one, on the other hand, with only minimal tools at (her) disposal coupled with hard work, discipline, mostly hands skills (minus flashy tools) have boosted my confidence so that I can actually try things out now. Hats off to you @D.A Santos.
This is the most straight forward and clear diy how to make your own closet. Thank you!
I cannot understand the number of dislikes. Of course it's not pro-level craftsmanship, just look at the meager number of power tools this wonderful girl has. Even with that, it's actually a very well thought-out project.
And the thought that she did this alone.. Very talented woman.
I think she did a great job, not many can do it except experts. YOU DONE GREAT MY DEAR
They are most probably racist. I think she's great.
Probably because she's female. Sadly, not all men are happy to see a capable female.
@@HouseFairyDIY it’s 2021 but yes, there are people still living in caves
Brilliant. Exactly what I was looking for. Simple closet. Thank you💕
no ladder, no problem - use dresser! I love the sounds of the tools sped up! And I love this tutorial. Great job! Others on here say they've built a closet but all they did was put shelves in a closet that was already there. You have actually built this! Great job!
Whenever I watch videos like this I always think that it is much easier to do work like that when we have an amazing, fully equipped workshop. This girl did it with minimal number of tools. You go girl.

This is the most fashionable thing a young lady can do now! Forget about those nails, Cutex, makeup, hairstyles, etc!
I really like her videos and the ease she shows in doing these projects.
Also, no fancy, expensive tools and jigs - just the basics!
I must confess that she's also attractive!
Thanks!
Very true.its so sexy
pgkatapos mabuo nung cabinet mahal ko na ung gumawa 😅🤣😂
It's all just a skill. It takes skill to do hair and makeup, but it's not as rare as the skill of being able to make things out of wood.
The more people possess a skill, the less it's valued, and the more it's expected as a minimum.
We can have beautiful nails and be as efficient as any man. I the majority of women don't want to learn, that's the fact
@@NorahAB13 but the thing is most of the girls don't like such work this is the first time I saw any women doing this , Interesting.👍
Great Job! The only thing I would have recommended was using 1x1 strips to support the shelves instead have using nails to support them. You have truly inspired this old lady!

@Tyrone Fernandez
I haven't disliked this BUT! Problem here is UA-cams algorithm for "Recommended" videos. If you trust the recommended list and watch something you don't like is a dislike the only thing you can do to get less of that kind of content in your recommended list.
So therefore some videos get dislikes for "no reasons". Problem is that if you get on the wrong recommended list and get a lot of dislikes you have less chance to get on the recommended list again.

Good evening
This is exactly what I was looking for! Simple and functional ❤️
This is just what I needed for a SIMPLE little cabinet I need to make cheap due to lack of work at this time so I appreciate this very much!
Haters can hate. Enormous respect for the effort and ingenuity. Doing without the auger bit blew me away.
I think because the video plan is amateur and/or all the hammering, but those are not really a big deal. People are very disrespectful when it comes to online content and expecting it to meet their desires or tastes.
You worked with limited tools yet built a functional cabinet...you are great lady!
This girl is amazing, you can count on your fingers how many girl can do that kind of job, RESPECT and SALUTE.
GOD BLESS
Inspiring to see that things can be achieved without too many tools. Brilliant work.
You did a good job girl! You're breaking stereotypical gender stereotypes without even intending to do so. You earned my respect.

Mad respect for this little lady building tall furniture. Keep it up! Bosch user here, too.

Życzę Ci żebyś miała kiedyś warsztat z narzędziami z prawdziwego zdarzenia, żeby mogła się jeszcze bardziej rozwijać. Wielki szacunek❤
We forgot how to use a hammer and some nails. Way to go, girl! Great job! Congrats!
Por qué no descubrí tu canal antes! Un resultado grandioso, la calidad de los cortes, la forma de ensamblarlo, todo quedó excelente. Quién dijo que la mujer perfecta no existía ❤️❤️
Very good but there are a few structural issues that can be can taken care of very easily. Just a couple of suggestions as a DIY enthusiast:
Instead of nailing inside, you can use L brackets which are half supported by the wall & half supported by the wood. This way the load sharing can be balanced & the damage of wood by nails can be reduced. Also, it aids in dismantling if required.
The wood seemed well seasoned but monsoon & winters are the criminals for wood. So a simple polyurethane coat will act as an insulator for moisture.
Since I didn't see any handles to open or close the door, you can always a single screw L or a C (usually used to hold the glass sil) rounded bracket if the handles are costly in your area.
The doors, if closed with a little extra force, can cause chipping on the middle partition wood over time. Glue + 1 mm rubber seal will fix 2 problems - absorbs pressure & reduces the noise of closing the door.
Hope this helps! :)
ज्ञानी ।
Exactly what I thought. In fact I would expect the wood to have some anti-termite solution before being fixed to the wall.
I agree. However based on her looks and surroundings, I think she lives in either Thai, Philippines, or Indonesia. We don't have winters. Our weather is very friendly for wood furniture. Wood furnitures inside our homes would last even with out sealing/coating :)
@@kgpcodes there are many anti termites solution that you can apply or spray after mounting wood furniture on the walls.. If your home is not infested with termites and you're using good wood (which I think is her case), you don't really need it.
@@anamiguel2603 But we do have lots of Termites..

I wonder how many so-called 'professional' DIYer would be able to build like this with minimal tools?
I remember when my wife could easily within an hour make a delicious and healthy meal for the family from whatever there was in the pantry and refrigerator.
Me. I had to have all the ingredients and a recipe and a lot of time! It was mainly for one or two. I can't cook for four even with a recipe!
Kudos to this young lady and anyone who could with the minimal create, construct, and cook anything!
I'm beyond impressed. I needed plans to make an armoire for a bedroom with no closet, and I just found it! You did awesome!
Thank you!
Wow working with the equipment you had man, imagine if you had a table saw , pin nailer and a random orbit sander just to name a few tools. Nice job.
The girl has some serious skills...more than most guys in mexico have. All she needs is right environment and good equipment and she will do fine. I am an arquitecto with 30 years experience and love making my own High end furnishings also. Before one criticizes, just look at the tools she has available compared to the professionals. Its all about drive and applying oneself. She has enough of that!
You are right, she is got skills even with basic resources, respect¡
On behalf of a lot of mexicans, for being an architect, your comment was very ignorant.
@@DanielRodriguez-yb2gh "A lot of" Mexicans I have built for agree with me on workers capabilities running away with their mouths. I am guessing you are one of the chest fluffers with no ability. Excellent, nothing wrong with the video. No fancy tools and sophisticated equipment. Well done !!!

I think this video was incredible. We in America are used to power tools. This girl did it with brute force using simple hand tools. Goes to show you girls can do anything. She just gave me ides to make a shelving system. If Im ever stuck on a deserted island. You are the the one I would rather be stuck with. More power to you. Great creativity.

You made it look so simple.. with minimal tools which everyone possess for their daily uses.. unlike those who uses all those expensive tools which only wood Carver's possess.. I'm going to make one for myself, exactly as yours.. ty

NICE! Tip time, sometimes, pre-drilling, especially when you are using a nail, is helpful.

I hit like as soon as I saw you haul out another piece of furniture to stand on! That's the way I do it. Thanks for showing us how to get a nice finished product with just basic tools!
nice looking brushed nickel finish with multiple water spray options
Our master bathroom has a standing shower with handheld shower head.
We started to see some rust spots in the hose not to mention heavy mineral built ups in the shower head because our house has very hard water despite water softener we have.
My wife picked out this handheld shower head to replace our old one because she loves the brush nickel finish to match our bathroom decors but this turned out to be very impressive handheld shower head.
Although I have replaced shower heads many times in the past, it came with nice instruction on how to replace it for those who's not familiar with it. My only advise would be to use wrench to hold the base spout when removing and installing the holding adapter so you don't accidently twist and damage the base pipe when you over tighten it.
I really appreciate that it came with plenty of plumber's tape because you really want to put that on before connecting different parts so that there's no water leak in between threads. This is one of most common mistakes and reasons why there's leak after installing it. Very happy to see that they have provided plumber's tape to remind you to use it!
It also had rubber rings/washers in each connector but it also came with extra one, which is nice. They also included a shower drain cover to prevent hair from going in to the drainage, which is a nice bonus. I really love the brush nickel finish, which makes it look elegant and expensive. The 7 different water spray setting is nice to have so you can change it for different purpose. We will most likely leave it on one setting for most of the times but it's nice to have option to change it when needed, such as jet spray for cleaning the shower wall, etc.
After replacing the shower head, I didn't see any leak and the stainless steel hose feels sturdy. I also like that I can rotate and tilt the shower head holder and it stays in place. Overall, very happy with this shower head!

1. This shows that you don’t need to be rich and have fancy tools to make what you want want. This should tell you to be creative and be smart with what you have. Safety first ofc.
2. I’ve been considering making my closet into built in bookshelves for clothes and whatnot. But been struggling with the right way to do it. Especially when my floor is tile.
Quick question, the base that she installed first, is that meant to easily nail the actual bookshelf in? Or to keep it stable?

Amazing. Did you consider the circular saw blade thickness for accurate measurement? Thank you.
Great effort, not for a 'girl' as so many say, just great effort full stop!
- Add more hinges or those doors will warp over time.
- For the shelves try pocket holes instead of the nails, a lot of strength and no nail/screw heads
- With nails you really need glue, didn't see any glue going in a lot of those joints.
That depends on where you're from there's also different tradition and technique in carpentry. I'm willing to bet glue and pocket hole are not really a thing where she's at. Plus I'm aware nails are very traditional in many countries and I agree that she should've added one more hinge in the middle.
Doors are heavy and you need to add at least 1 more mechanism. 2 only after a wile will have problem. Excellent work 👍👏
The cabinet handle! 🤣🤣 Very nice lady all my respects
Absolute excellent job! You are an inspiration to many of us ladies. 🥰💯💪🏼
