You should get a modified camera that can see the IR light.. Alot of misunderstanding with laser systems from range finders and laser speed guns is just how much "spred" that dot of laser has at distance. its ALOT more then you think.. On top of that they are very sensitive to so they can see their own IR come back into the lens even during sunlight hours so they are MUCH easier to overload then you probably think.. Anyway. You should look into getting a camera or modifying one (its not hard to do with some basic tools) so you can SEE and show us how much of a spread both the laser gun and the jammer have.

Since you’re in a good mood and you answered my Question about what you are preferring to use these days I’ll ask one more. What’s doing the best job of being the quietest radar these days (you can break it up into what’s doing the best with BSM, other k band falses, and …whatever is left), who’s doing the best with gps lockouts, and also in a related question what would you recommend or find most suitable for an older person, my dad is 75 and I’m wanting to get him a high quality high performance unit but more important than performance etc is just being a quiet unit I can have a chance of training him to use so that he knows when there’s a cop & knows when it’s a false & it shuts tf up as often as possible when not a cop or camera etc.
In my dreams Theia solves all this and literally gives voice alerts that says “popo” and “this is a false alert sorry master” but Theia doesn’t love us anymore so we are where we are.

@@Ultrajamz you are correct. The Second Amendment IS a right for any “weapon of the day” and it’s components. Today, laser is used as components for weapons systems (like a butt stock or ram used to load a flintlock of the day). Which citizens are supposed to be guaranteed to have access too. Unfortunately, FDR (USA king C0mmie until LGB/FBJ), and his puppet Supremes upheld the 1933 Nat. Fire. Act. Which give enslavers faux excuse to limit the Second Amendment.
Furthermore, you are correct that laser itself is protected under Second Amendment. Because it has now become a projectile of sorts itself. The Bill of Rights does not limit to gunpowder or lead balls. ANY weapon design is protected. Including upcoming lasers used as a direct fire weapon. However, again, the enslavers like moron above will argue that the Bill of Right was written by old white men, only listed for their own decade of time. Not universal coverage over time, space, and advancements.
The Bill of Rights is a timeless document covering anything moving forward. Without change or modification. Enslaving little D tyrants will do anything to someone who disagree with their draconian rules to oppress. However the Bill of Rights means nothing unless it is defended with threat (or use in dire situations) of capital force by the free citizen as needed. That is another item not well understood (or respected by busy body enemies of liberty).

I have a couple of quick questions: first, I have decided to go ahead and invest in a radar detector with arrows. I’m trying to decide if I should get a Uniden R7, or a Valentine. Which would you recommend? Second, is there a system available for radar jamming that functions like laser jamming? I would love the freedom of being able to drive and be completely invisible to radar AND laser, still detect that my speed is being monitored, and able to slow down even though I have full confidence that an accurate reading would not be able to be obtained? Thanks for all that you do to enhance our safe driving experiences!

The R7, R8 and V1 are all good detectors. Read or watch the reviews, no detector is perfect for everybody but that's where I would steer toward. On the subject of RADAR jamming - DON'T. Super late to comment… but if both vehicles you tested (where the heads are working from behind the grille) were Ferrari models, I almost wonder if the grille itself on those cars use a nonstandard material for the mesh or a strange coating otherwise that would just happen to allow better pass-through of the signals? Maybe part of their efforts to save as much weight as possible where metal materials would usually be?
I don’t know, just spitballing here. I wouldn’t think this is a large enough consensus to say mesh in all cars is a safe “cover” material. Something funky has gotta be happening with these cars and their exterior trim
