that pure ref file is madness i love it
I always love this kind of topics Ryuu. This is a one of the best discussion who really want to be good for modeling.
thanks, Naveen, glad you enjoyed it!
@@PonteRyuurui i always enjoy with your and joshs video Ryuu

I feel like the coolest thing I learned is the way you arrange your references in pure ref and how you look at everything for inspiration. That is really cool.
Awesome, yup, look at everything, shapes are essential.
I love it! However in mid/big studios you most of the time work from design of some concept artist. It's rarely the case when you can do the thing from design blockout to finished asset. That being said I absolutely agree with you that making your own design is the best practice to become better artist.
I even returned to drawing with copic markers, ball pen and multiliner. And I love it :)
well there is a difference between modellers and artists, it is a great feeling to model your own designs though
Thank you!
The importance of this video can't be underestimated! Great work!
Much appreciated!
Dope topic! Good vid.
cheers Bo!
Yes I like ur long videos
ah cheers mate
Im a fan of these design theory videos, Im thinking of starting my own channel based on the design aspects across different mediums, but generally 2D and 3D work. Nice video mate
ya man with your xp you should
@@PonteRyuurui Thanks mate, would be great to collaborate on some community discussions down the road, could make for a cool video series.
Do it! And let us know when you do ;)
@@Kholaslittlespot1 Thanks, will do!
thanks
Welcome
You sound like you are like Street FIghter's Sagat
no idea what that is, but sounds badass, so i ll roll with it
Haha yeah man Sagat was a big boi from Street fighter 2. Come on Ryu, that was our era mate! ;)
@@Kholaslittlespot1 i ll be honest with you mate, i havent seen it
Hey man, could you please share that PureRef with the Star Citizen images? I would love to use them as inspiration!
thats a 10GB pure ref file mate, a bitch to share , not to mention it might crash most PCs
She's massive then.
Hi Ponte ... love your tuts. Can you do a tutorial about modeling with data? I work for scientists who are asking me to manipulate data into ‘forms’ . In particular this data is called ‘tSNE’ ... python is likely the way but I’m not educated in that yet. Thanks
man, i ve no clue what you even mean, data into forms? as in digits into geo?
WTF... This man lives in another dimension.
Good luck in that job.
Very interesting. Could you use geometry nodes to visualise some of the data?
