Mesh Machine latest update has selected symmetry which soo cool!! You can symmetries just selected mesh.

For example I want make bevel and I want to rotate the view to see the impact from other side. So I can’t do that before I confirm the bevel tool.
@@ahmadzhalabi on ctrl b you mean, i thought you meant hardops bevel. ya on ctrl b you cannot, but thats vanilla blender limitation. You could bevel an edge via ctrl mark with hardops and then you can rrotate the view.
Is there a model (or perhaps a course) of the spaceship in the thumbnail of this video available to buy? I think it looks really cool, it would be nice to be able to take a closer look at it :)

Can you bevel the cut from 1 side only?
you d need to manually drop it via alt mark to 0, or slice it with another cut
hey ponte ! so idk if im doing something wrong but when i solidify and press 2 ( 3:10 ) so it can go both sides it doesnt work ? maybe i have a function off or something i cant really seem to get it to solidify to both sides it does nothing when i press 2 it just goes towards one side
Update hardops and blender. That function is a default behaviour out of the box, so should work. Also try it on a default plane. Perhaps your geo has some issues.

Well Ultimate Guide is massive, we cover tools and menus and then you got not one but TWO practical modelling courses. I am not sure if the origin tip is i the course, becasue i cant remember when it was added, it is quite recent.

When you live bevel the edge (at 4.00) it works fine in Blender 3.0, but in 3.1 Beta it applies the bevel to all the edges until you tab out of Edit Mode and then it applies it correctly - makes visualizing the result impossible. This isn't the only problem with 3.1 Beta I'm finding though, it seems they've screwed up how things are applied in Edit Mode so you don't see changes correctly until you go back to Object Mode.

I just dont understand how it added to the shape at 18:55 when you used box cutter ngon, Mine just made a clean cut into the mesh.
if you wanna shift cut to join bool, press j during cutting

Bro you really need to work on your mindset, because the current one is cockblocking your progress. But to tackle your assumption - no, we use Hopscutter and Machine Tools. DM is optional, and Mesh Machine I use mostly for symmetry in courses, so everyone can follow with hardops.
You don't need these plugins to do all this.

@@PonteRyuurui What nonsense answer is this? I said that all this can be done without plugins. Blender is good software. I've been using it for 3 years and I've found that all this can be done without plugins. There are good tips in the video, but it needs a plugin. As such it's just personal opinion.
@@HalitHarun even cavemen used tools, so again, come back once you smarten up and learn how to use them, now get
