Sounds like a wet fart, but at least with the long tube headers, you won't have the negative scavenging effect. A crossover would still add power, but with the long tubes it isn't quite as bad.
1st of all, I don't think the any 2nd generation Camaro had 2 cats. 2nd, what state other than California requires them for a 40 year plus old car??? I'm in Illinois towards Chicago, and my 77 isn't required to have 1 even with standard plates. 3rd, what's with the 3 foot long tail pipes? 4th, my car had straight pipes from the headers back and didn't sound like that.....
He needs to come back for an X pipe with some Dynomax race bullets
X-pipe, yes. Mufflers, NO!
Thing would sound so much better with some mufflers and a crossover.
I love this body style of the camaro
Seemed to be my favorite too. Had a '70 and a '78
Sounds like it's ready for the demo derby!
LOL!
Those tips gotta GO
Yeah. I agree with you. Those tips are old and rusty.
I would put in H pipe with either magnapacks or flowfx mufflers if it was daily
Glass packs would be going in if was only driven on weekends
What's wrong with daily driving with glasspacks?

Thank you for your detailed expert analysis Dr. Knowitall.
My wet farts don't sound like a V8
Literally not even close. Lol
maybe the 07 civic with an exhaust
Thank you Dr. Knowitall 😊
needs an x pipe bad
Sounds awesome. Need more of these.
Not much going on with that 5.7 , he needs to bring it back and let you finish the exhaust.. nice clean work on what you guys did ... Keep em coming!!
Needs An X Pipe And The Cats Removed Again

Sounds great! Nice clean car!
It really needs an x pipe or mufflers 100%
Nice work! 🔨😎🤘🏻 As long as the owner likes it.
Yesssirrrrr🫡
Sounds amazing 👍👍
sounds like a squatted truck
Good candidate for a restomod , I'd put on coilovers or airbags big brake it and drop a supercharged 6.2 with a six speed manual in it
Aaahh how original another LS swap
@@nickyj3571 Wow! Chevy motor in a Chevy?! this guy is MENTAL!
@@chadbullock6326 I know that's right have fun stroking your piston. Little cam in your ham maybe
Needs carb work
Why is there cats on this car 78 camaro was carb in that yr no computer
I had a catalytic converter on my '78
I guess you don’t know that cats came standard a long time before fuel injection was commonplace.
Why spend money on new cats? Its an old unregulated car let it breathe 😅
Needs a tune up
Sounds like a clapped out truck
Great sound, looks like this was swapped. Not sure the Berlinetta came with a 350.
Berlinetta wasn't released until 79. This one in the video has the whopping 170hp 350
It came out with a 305
Love the headers but it claps too much. Needs X pipe.
The tailpipes look terrible.
Earthquake
That is not a '78
Good lord a 78 350 oooffff peak malaise
That car was probably a 130hp 305 at best
@@slowstang88 They came with 350's too not like it was helping anything, maybe 180hp lol
@chadbullock6326 the berlinetta? The next gen berlinetta had a iron Duke 2.5 4 cylinder
@@slowstang88 what a joke
