Herod my favourite
Percival sounds pretty great! Excited to give it a whiff. My favorite PDM would be Layton because it's likability but this one sounds like it could take the top spot. Thanks for the opportunity!
Possibly the most underrated PDM. I'd pick this over Layton any day. Fresh, gets compliments and versatile enough for any occasion.

Percival should’ve been a purple or red bottle. Looking to close to Layton.
My favorite is Herod by the way. Followed by Layton, Pegasus and Habadan
Agreed. Percival should have been a clear brown bottle. Much like the wood it smells like
The whole house is my favorite for me, I love them all and I wear them all the time, Layton is still my best

Layton is by far my favorite from Parfums De Marly. In fact I bought a bottle of it today.

Max, thank you for another great review. I like layton and pegasis. These work really well on my skin and they are long lasting for me. I would love to try percival before I buy a full bottle. Have a great week

Right now I only own Pegasus and it is great, I have a decant of Layton and Herod. Right now Pegasus is my favorite with that creamy dry down its lovely and big compliments
Great review like always Max. Among the three PDM bottles that I had (Herod, Pegasus and Layton), Layton is my most favorite thanks to the good reactions that it got me every time i wore it. I really adore the perfect blend between apple, cinnamon, vanilla, lavender, orange, sandalwood. Dried down is also amazing and a silent killer. It also not really heavy and more suitable for a hot country like Vietnam.
I favourite one is definitely Layton, it's fruity and sweet, and it just smell so good

I absolutely adore Herod, Oajan & Layton. I really want to find a spring/summer scent from this house.

Max Forti , I have a question do you know any fragrances that smell like Armani Code from early 2000. I like that smell but the newer batch is weak and doesn't last that long anymore. Thanks for your help.
I bought a 30 ml of Layton and honestly don’t care for it... too sweet for me so curious to smell Percival and would love to find herrod in a decant as well. I’m waiting for cooler weather to give Layton one more shot before getting rid of it
Meu preferido é o Layton mas gosto demais do oajan, herod, pegasus e galloway tmb. To curioso pra conhecer o Percival mas até ficar acessivel no Brasil vai demorar :/

thanks for the review, Max. I really wanna try this one. I only own Herod so that is my favorite from PDM, but I recently got a 5mil decant of Carlisle and I really like it, will definitely buy a bottle sometime. Godolphin is probably the 3rd best that I've smelled from the house. Cheers

This may be my favorite PDM daily driver. Anywhere anytime it works. I think the obvious wasn’t mentioned and that is it is similar to Abercrombie Fierce... but so much better only like PDM could do it.
This fragrance seems very intriguing. My favorite PDM would have to be Herod. That sweet tobacco lasts forever and the smell is intoxicating.

Interesting release by Parfums de Marly, the description that you have made Max sounds real interesting, citrus aromatic with fougere vibe.... i need it. Anyway my favorite release about this house are Herod and Layton. Great work Max. Saluti from Italy
Now that I've watched the reviews of Carlos, Steven and yours, I'm really looking forward to try this one. I haven't found a PdM fragrance which I wanted to own so far. Good to know it doesn't have that heavy sweetness of Layton & others from the house.

Ordered a sample..can't go wrong with PDM I love Herod but gotten most compliments with Galloway.
Man its really hard to pick a favourite from the house, most of them are great but I think Herod is my pick.

I’ve been wanting to get my nose on Percival with no luck so far lol. My favorite is Layton to date.. Great video as always!!
Herod mixed with the crispy autum/winter air is one cold weather go to.
One of my favourite fragrance houses yes there expensive but they last a long time and more importantly smell fantastic.
My two favourites depending on how I feel are Herod and also Layton both always seem to get noticed in a good way and more important I love them

Great thorough review as usual. PDM reminds me of a ride in a classic convertible for some reason. My favorites are Layton and Herod.
I havent pulled the trigger on any PDM yet as I’m not too big on heavy scents, so Galloway is my fave so far. I love citrus fougeres though and cant wait to try Percival! Great review Max! 👍👃💪

I am a huge fan of Godolphin. I was a bigger fan of Layton first, then Herod became my favorite and now it is Godolphin for sure. I am really planning to get a full bottle some day, as you know. So yeah, Godolphin! :)

Great Job Max and always looking sharp. Parfums de Marley seems to be my most liked house for me. I loved them all but but the one I go to to all the time is Layton. The swiss army knife.
I have Herod and in this week I will buy Oajan. Percival could be the last member of the triumvirate. 😁

I personally can't say which Parfums de Marly fragrance I like, as I've never tried the house before. This one sounds like a great, casual scent - like for going to the gym or to work for instance. Oajan is the one I'm dying to try, though!

Herod is good to me at first smell but I go nose blind to a certain element in it I think its the systhetic molecule 01 in it and then I dislike it..Layton is solid but I feel most confident wearing Pegasus, Unique/winter woman getter scent for sure, wish I could wear it more! Excited to smell one from the house that is better suited for hot climates!

There are so many good releases from PDM but if I had to choose, my favorite would be Layton Exclusif, followed by Carlisle and Oajan. I also like Hamdani but certainly not when I first bought it. I learned to appreciate it.
I dont have any experience with Parfums de Marly but I would love to smell Layton since it is one of the most popular fragrances from PDM. 🤗
Probably Herod, not an easy choice, so many good ones!
Unfortunately PDM is not available here in the Philippines. I have been looking at PDM’s just through Fragrantica and all I can do is imagine how it would smell by looking at the notes and that’s the closest thing I could do. Thanks for giving us a great review of PDM Percival and from the ones I have seen on Fragrantica this one is the only suitable for a tropical country.

This is a hard question because i really don't have a favorite from this house. I guess i would go with Oajan at this moment. thanks for the giveaway bud.
PDM is a tough house for me, hard to explain why. My nose is sensitive to patchouli, and many of their fragrances to my nose go a bit heavy on it. That being said, Carlisle is the fragrance from PDM that is truly a masterpiece! I have a little sample of it just waiting for the colder temperatures!
Layton and Layton Exclusif are favorites of mine. Looking forward to trying Percival

Long time P de Marly fan, always outstanding quality and (usually) performance: of the ones I own (Pegasus, Godolphin, Layton, Galloway and Herod) I find some suit particular occasions or seasons but Herod is the super ‘jack of all trades’ , wearable anytime and an absolute compliment getter from both genders. Layton is my favorite followed by Oajan and Herod
I have yet to get a hold of any PDM releases but I'm most excited for Oajan, Carlisle, Habdan and Herrod. Also interested in Layton.
I think Oajan is my favorite. Problem is that it shines in fall winter only too heavy for summer.
Layton is still my favourite (first ever niche I decided to purchase), but Herod usually takes over in the winter.
My favorite PMD would have to be Carlisle. Can’t wait to try this one!

Reminds me of eating my nans homemade apple tart by the fire on christmas. I can practically smell the tart with some woodyness underneath 😍
