Haven’t smelled any fragrances from this house yet, but definitely would like to try this one. I’ve made fragrance purchases based on your reviews and haven’t struck out yet, love them all.

I must say that my favorite PDM Fragrance is Layton, I haven't had the opportunity to smell them all but out of the ones that I have and do own I would say Layton.... great video!

Layton is definitely my fav PDM. Based on your description of Percival, I'm picturing something like Nick Jonas × John Varvatos minus the herbs with a little something extra.
I tried the NJ x JV fragrance a couple of weeks ago, and it's quite different from Percival. But I just looked it up, and you could not have made a better comparison! They have so many similar notes: lavender, clearwood, etc. Nice catch!

Great, detailed review, Steven. I haven't had the pleasure to get acquainted to a Parfum de Marly fragrance, but when I hear you and Carlos chat about Percival, that would be one of my favourites.
I’m still new to Parfums de Marly, but so far I really love Herod. I can’t wait to try this!
So disappointed in this fragrance! I received a sample and to me it smelled like Abercrombie and Fitch or Axe body spray.
this is definitely a needed freshy in their line up, my faves are Layton and Pegasus

I discovered this fragrance in 2019 while having a tuxedo custom made and I can tell you this is the fragrance I will be wearing while attending any formal event. I simply love it and it works well with my body oils. I have since become a fan of the Parfum de Marly.

Love how we got a sneak peak at Percival a couple months ago. After smelling it again I really do like it and feel that it would be a great business professional scent. Looking forward to seeing you on the 21st Steven. As always, you covered everything there is to know about this fragrance.

Herod is the only one I have tried. Ordered a sample and after one spray I ordered a bottle. I love that one!

My favorite fragrance from PDM is Pegasus. This floral, almond, and vanilla scent is wonder and stylish. It gives me so much energy and that's what makes it's awesome. My love for Layton and Carlisle dosent fall too far behind this one. I am definitely hype to try Percival when I get the chance.

I haven't tried Carlisle and a few others like Godolphin, so it's hard to say with absolute certainty, but probably a toss up between Pegasus and Oajan. Both are so amazing, great performance and projection. I love them so much!

My favorite is Layton hands down, I feel like there isnt a situation that you cant wear it in, I just try not to wear it out here in Vegas when its higher than about 85 degrees

Amazing, detailed review as always Steven. I would have to say that Herod & Oajan are my two favorites from this house. Just waiting for a bit cooler weather to wear the latter of the two! I have yet to try Percival, hopefully I love it enough to justify the price point! Have a great day.

I just finally got ahold of some today, and I smell a HUGE similarity to the original Eternity, except this keeps pushing long after Eternity would be dead and gone. But I can’t believe that I haven’t seen anyone mentioning this (yet) but I’m sure someone has. It takes me straight back to the early 90’s or so, and keeps me there, so it’s not exactly original, but I like it very much.
I've never tried any niche's. I sadly do not have the money for these great fragrances. Enjoy the perfume whoever wins!

my favorite is Godolphin .love it. the presentation u made about incredients made me think about some older perfume so i sniffed my bottles and i went oh this! when i found Jaques Bogart for men. is it similar in some way?
I don't find it too similar. Percival is a bit more contemporary, and Jacques Bogart is a bit more green on account of the patchouli. Thank you for watching!

I own Herod, Layton and Galloway and just from the 'holy crap that's amazing' factor, Galloway is my favorite. Herod is for when it's cold out *like a week or two here in the desert, and Layton is my colder weather weekend scent. Really looking forward to Percival! Thanks for another great video!

I loved Layton.I smelled it at a store once. It left an imprint. Rich, sweet and floral. A cuddle invoker.

A fougere from another niche house! I'm so excited for this release. I like their heavy hitters and my favorite is Oajan but it's not like I can wear that all year long. This sounds like a mass appeal frag like Reflection Man is for Amouage.

Great Vid - I would have to say my favorite is Layton...in fact I'm wearing it now. Oddly it didn't start out that way. I initially didn't care for Layton, but after it settled I was very pleased with it.
Heard a lot of this brand, but do not know it. Haven’t had the opportunity to smell it.
