Excellent collaboration here squires. I think you’ve hit on something here chaps. As we all know, the Bond Experience is more than just locations, than the glamour…. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s most inherently very much part of the ensemble….. but you can feel the vibe of Bond, indeed the vice of it, through moments…. through, not only the lifestyle choices, but how you carry yourself. One thing I’ve always felt, watching you David, is that you can experience Bond through more than the lense of vicarious wealth…. you can experience it through the passion of pursuing what makes Bond actually Bond to you, yourself. It’s one of the reasons I ABSOLUTELY ADORE both your channel & Calvins. You guys literally BRING ME the Bond experience. In two totally unique ways.⭐️
Looking sharp, gentlemen. Proud to say I just purchased my first Bond piece: the replica Magnoli Spectre polo for $50...big step up from my usual Goodwill binges. Feel like a million bucks!
What’s great with Daniel Craig’s era how s how some pieces, Tom Ford, can be very expensive while other pieces, Carhartt and Levi, are not as expensive. To me when it comes to shoes, jeans, and polo it is worth spending the extra money. Keep these episodes coming. 🤗
I love to cross-Bond dress, wearing different pieces from different films. Sometimes frugal, sometimes not. Yesterday I wore the pink Mason & Son cocktail cuff shirt from YOLT, the black knit Turnbull & Asser tie from From Russia with Love and over it I had the v-neck John Smedley sweater from Skyfall with the shark skin ACME pants and the peacoat......oh and the Dent gloves.
Great video. I finally got the Sunspel polo on sale a few months back and found I prefer my frugal Bond Polo from Banana Republic more due to fit. I found the Sunspel a little less tailored than the Banana Republic and my Orlebar Browns. I also have the Banana Republic Harrington like Kyle's in Grey. I feel Banana Republics products are very Bondian and punch well above their weight in value.
I also can really vouch for Magnoli! I've been wearing their stuff for 2 years now and it's still holding up great, even after many washes. The materials, detailing and screen accuracy are top-notch and the price is super reasonable. Sure, stuff like Tom Ford will be of higher quality, but not worth 10x the price IMHO. I love that I can wear my frugal Bond Magnoli stuff often without worrying much. Do make sure you really check their size charts and measure clothes that fit you well, because they are in New Zealand, and from most of the world, sending a return package to NZ is not fun for either party :)
Things fashion wise ramped up in QoS when Tom Ford my favorite brand was introduced. Another reason that film fashion wise is iconic. Also David you should cover how bond pays for his look. His companies Amex black card.

I'm a lawyer and I wear suit & tie pretty much Monday to Friday, so I can get plenty of "Formal Bond" moments during the week. But I sure as hell get the chance to have "Frugal Bond" moments on weekends!!
Absolutely unequivocally no. There is nothing less "Bond" than a hyped up plastic piece of garbage designed to be a marketing stunt. If that's your budget, Seiko have your back, with serious Moore era credentials. There's a Seiko 5 to suit all styles.

Banana Republic has many of the Bond clothes for a fraction of the price. Right now thy have a near identical version of the tan Massimo Alba Sloop Suit from No Time to Die. I got all the shirts from Thunderball from BR that look almost screen accurate.
Would Abercrombie count as a Bond brand given its mention in the “007 in New York” short story? He doesn’t wear it in the films but the story mentions he goes in there to check out the latest “gadgets”
I keep forgetting how affordable the Magnoli rugby shirt is. I used to play Rugby and I was pretty good, why don’t I own this? Lol. I’m flying in for your next one of these. I’ll pack 3/4 of my wardrobe 🤣💸
