How do I adjust my wiper park position? Steps to Adjust Wiper Arm Park Position 1. Remove the protective nut cap with the screwdriver. 2. Use the socket wrench to unscrew the nut. 3. Disconnect the hose for the windshield cleaner if necessary. 4. Pull the wiper arm off the assembly. Repeat the process for the other arm and remove it as well. 5. With both wiper arms off, turn on the engine and run the wipers for 1-2 minutes. This will allow the motor to readjust. 6. Turn the wipers off first, then after a few seconds turn off the ignition. 7. It’s time to position the wiper arms on the windshield. Some manufacturers leave subtle markings on the windshield to make this process easier. You can also use Google to find a reference for your model. 8. With wiper arms in place, screw the nuts back in, and place the protective caps. 9. Test the wipers to see if the park position is now accurate.
