It's not a magic button. If under 50-60 fps I find the latency hit very noticeable. Even though the image is usable. This will be very cool for emulation. For upping the fps without any mods.

With AMD gpu in Baldur's Gate 3, do you recommend having Anti-lag ON or OFF? Also what about Freesync? I read somewhere that LSFG doesn't work properly with Freesync. I'm not sure about the source tho. And do you recommend using enhanced sync together with Freesync? I've tested it couple of times, but I just kinda never see the difference :D
Thanks for the video btw, great job as always 👌🏾

In the app it's mentioned that vrr isn't supported. Anti lag doesn't do much in reducing latency, base fps will largely dictate your end experience. Shouldn't be a problem when the fps is around 60 . However I didn't observe much improvement in performance with lsfg in bg3 as shown in the video. I would recommend using puredark's fsr 3 mod

Yeah I had vrr disabled in this video. Only enabled vsync from Nvidia control panel. Screen tearing wasn't a problem with the 80 fps cap.

This only works properly if the machine can maintain the 80 FPS seen above. It won't be good anyway. In Windows, lower the HZ value of the monitor to, say, 180 and set it to 60 fps ... or set the graphics settings to keep 80 fps even when using Framegen. Then it will be perfect.

Hi, performance gains are noticeable even when the games are running at 40 fps . However, more artifacts and garbled textures show up at lower fps.

Hopefully the developer will reduce these artifacts at lower fps in the future.

@@GamingDJ4u He will, in his dev log, ths showed the next update, it will improve frame pacing alot more and the demo showed a base 20 fps showing very few artifacts from 20 to 60 fps. This update should come in the next few days.

Thanks for the video. This is really crazy. I wanted to play the "hell blade ii" game. I was disappointed with the GTX 1650 graphics card because the frame rate was around 20. My CPU is weak (core i3 9100), I don't know if I can reach the 60 frames or not 🤔

20 to 60 fps won't look good, better to use the free fsr 3 mod dlss enabler.

Don't install amd and intel support package for gtx gpu.

Do you know if this works with nvidia freesync?.

Yes. Gsync compatible is basically freesync on Nvidia GPUs.

Cap the fps to 72 and use the x2 frame generation mode. Should observe good results.

Lsfg is way better than afmf. I'm playing shadow of erdtree dlc with lsfg on ally, so smooth.

@@GamingDJ4u i mean 90% is smooth on the ally coming from the deck lcd… i feel like i have to much power in my hands lol… but i dont want 100+ fps. Whats the best way to lock it at 40? And feel smooth?

Are you using some kind of a display profile? Like vari bright from amd adrenaline software. Need to disable it, display colors were not affected on my monitor after enabling lsfg as you can see in the video.

Not ideal , use x2 frame generation mode with a 37 fps cap.
