It was a great series
@L Lobster An Irish Doodle. That's a cross between an Irish Setter and a Poodle.
Where did you get the gates that attach to the crate?
My favorite series too. It was cool when we saw her parents
Great series but i don’t think the videos are in order in the playlist… I keep having to jump around to find the correct next video. I think if the title were shorter it’d be easier to order because most of the titles are so long that while on my phone i don’t see the whole title and therefore can’t see the video number. Also I think it would be helpful to add episode numbers on the thumbnail!
"Puppies really like shoes... Don't we all" 😂😂 I love it.
Haha yeah I'm sure a good portion of the training money will goes towards those shoes lol
You know it is a good episode when you finish the episode without realising its 50 mins long 🐶
hello Cynthia 👏 How is your day going?
I did not expect this episode to be 50 minutes but I am pleasantly surprised
I am so glad it is 50 minutes though
Thank you for saying that. My dog and cat videos tend to be long, usually around 30 minutes. I'm not getting a lot of views, so I thought maybe people don't want such long videos? Debra
True but im actually enjoying
Same!! 😍
I want it to be like a 2 Hours even tho I have no puppy
I really appreciate that you show the small mishaps, the trial and error, your patience, and that you are sometimes also not 100% sure what is best. Showing that helps me a lot. It makes it clear that sometimes you just have to observe the situation and it is ok not to always know what to do right away.
im getting a puppy in three weeks and this couldn’t have come at a better time
Well Congrats!!! Ik the waiting time is the worst time cause it goes by so slow😭😭 I finally got my puppy 5months ago I was asking for one for 6years! It’s worth it though just be consistent in training the first day is pretty obvious you should work in potty training and crate training the most! It will help you at night also tire them out at night before bed even if they try to go to sleep don’t let him or her also no water after tiring him out helped me ALOT since my puppy used to go potty in his crate and take him out 2-3 hours during the night:) you might have known most of the tips but just wanted to let u know!
@@hello-ww3dv the wait is the absolute worst part
Me too!! Im excited
Getting mine in 3 weeks :( so long :(
Sameeee but I get mine a little sooner
We had several weeks to prepare for the arrival of our two mini Goldendoodle pups and we spent a good portion of that time going through your puppy training vids, Zak. Proud to report that our two 11 week olds are both ringing the bells to go outside - after just 3 weeks!
I was thinking about the bell too. So happy to hear you found success in this.
Hi Zak, have you thought about one day getting a rescue doggy from the shelter? It would be cool to see the process of training a random shelter dog to become well behaved. Kona is adorable nevertheless, and I'm looking forward to see her progress.
Yess i’d love to see this!!!
Me too!
Was about to comment this! It would be amazing
Me too!!!
Good shout. I follow Zak and have used his training tips for my rescue dog successfully.
After Kona’s pee accident outside the crate, she looked at the door as if she knew where to go, but not how to get there in time. That was a BIG day for a little girl! She was awesome!
Literally just got a Maltese puppy yesterday... wish this came out 48 hours ago for me, but your videos on Inertia helped a TON! Looking forward to this series!!
I have a Maltese and yes they suffer from anxiety disorder bad I have to take him everywhere I go and it's no problem because he's an emotional support animal
Just got a maltipoo yesterday and have been binging on Zaks videos. Good luck with your new pup!
My 5 month old Maltese is great but barks a lot to other dogs and people in the park. I wish he was like Kona when meeting another dog. Charlie would be barking and lounging nonstop!
@@SuperSadavis hello Stephanie 👏 How is your day going?

I’ve been following this channel for four years in the hopes that my parents would one day allow me to get a dog. For Christmas, they surprised my sisters and i, and we’re getting a puppy in April. I’m so happy to say I actually have a reason to watch his videos now lol.
One thing i learned while training my puppy is that vids like this is so helpful but every dog is different so you kinda just need to know what works for you and your dog
hello Riane 👏 How is your day going?
@@kylelifestyle3103 good thank you
@@rianelouw6011 I'm Kylie from London and you?
I found the main issue people have is IMPLEMENTING the videos. When I watch people practicing their timing is off, their body language is off, or they repeat cues multiple times and aren't consistent.
While every dog is different, teaching potty training is the same (unless they have medical issues). They don't necessarily implement everything perfectly and then blame Zak for their failures. That's why I think it's super important not just to consume free content and actually pay for services so you know what you're doing wrong.
My two cents :)
Hi I: I’m getting a corgi i have one now going to have 2 dogs and 2 cats on Friday
1. Show where to go potty first thing at home
2. Put on harness & leash so they get used to it
3. Play with toys!
4. Walk them around house
5. Thirds treat in crate so they go in, take off leash first
6. Keep door open, let them go in & out
7. Close the door for a bit, call them, let open
8. Give a chew to calm down for nap
9. If anxious let out
10. When sleepy pick up & put in crate for nap, be in sight
11. Wait for calmness
12. Reward when calm
13. Don’t sleep with them for anxiety
Wow

Congrats! Such an exciting time!
‘You call that a bark’ creased up 😂
This is awesome to "see" actual training! My 2 little dogs passed away in Oct. I had them nearly 15 years. I went to training with them. I'm not sure who learned more... Me or them! But I've never seen training without the pet parent. I'm getting a new puppy in mid Jan.. He'll be 10 wks old. This is great to learn from you. Thank you for letting us watch you.
I’m so used to “ I’m zack George and this is my new dog inertia
Yeah, but I think I'm going to like this series just as much, as long as we get to see Inertia throughout as well! 🤗
It goes to show how consistency and patience yields such an amazing dog, like Inertia.
@@carolynvines2027 Hello Carolyn 👏 How are you taking care of yourself today?

Yeah!!! Ikr!!
Adopting a puppy is hard work! My puppy trainer just kept repeating stick with consistent training and have fun with the puppy, because puppyhood flies by so fast. All the work you put into training now pays off later

Thank you! I adopted two puppy mill dogs who are about 10 years old. I have spent most of my time just gaining their trust and trying to enable them to recover. The one who was completely shut down now watches your videos with so much glee. He jumps up, wagging his tail, trying to get closer to the tv. They are the sweetest dogs and such a joy. Looking forward to doing some real training with lots of “yes “ in our second year together. So rewarding and thank you for your help and all you do.
Zak has just made 2020 a better year
I finally Convinced my parents after 14 years to get me a puppy.I agreed to take responsibility for training our Chaweenie/maltese puppy. You are a such a lifesaver Im hopefully picking my puppy up in 3 weeks so im bing watching training videos all over UA-cam and yours are by far the best.
Kona with Inertia reminds me of my little brother when he was a toddler, who, in any new situation, would vanish under the table for a few minutes until he knew what was going on and wasn't scared any more. He had the same body language as her!
Just adopted a 12-week-old puppy. So glad I found Zak and his videos. It is helping and I do see progress, but there are also setbacks. Whoever said “puppy hell”, thank you! That was comforting. Is there a puppy training support group? If not, there should be.
I'm so exited. Ever since the puppy training experience I've been hooked on your channel
You are one of the few people that gives information while you are using the information yourself to train a dog, and you show us the process allowing us to not only information and directions, but how to do it and the reactions and such.

I watched Zak since November 2019. Although I’m struggling at the beginning, I have been giving a feedback that for 6 months , my puppy is very good. Does not destroy furniture or shoe/flipflop, relatively good on separation anxiety and good commands at home.
Thanks Zak
I've watched a lot of training videos for my 15 week old puppy and this is the first time that I really feel confident then I can teach her simple commands and get her comfortable and trained to have a healthy productive life thank you so much Zak Keep on doing what you're doing The way you talk the way you explain everything the way you interact everything about you and your training is exceptional
Thank you so much for this. After having over a week of sleepless nights with my puppy it's so good to see this is normal. And even hard for someone who knows what they're doing!

Appreciate you showing almost real time, trouble shooting. Shows that even a professional trainer has moments like us normal dog owners. :)
I’m picking up my Belgian Shepherd puppy in two weeks and I’m going through all of your videos. Thank you so much
I’ve been using what I’ve watched in your videos with tremendous results. I have a malamute, he’s 13 weeks now we’ve had some accidents on the way, but now we are on a week solid of no in house accidents at all. Two weeks off none overnight in his crate, which was already rare and expected he was very small when we got him at 8 wks . He is a puppy biter , I use the distraction with proper biting surfaces advice . All in all I have to say thank you 🙏 it’s not easy, but it’s rewarding and diligence is paying off I have a dog who will speak, sit, come, lay down, stay, and love my small and large children 😊. Grateful I stumbled onto these
