Great work. There's never enough room for all of the attachments. I just put all my summer attachments away yesterday. Put the winter back blade on as we are expecting snow here in northern Ohio. Thanks for the video.
I am not a JD expert but is appears the mower deck has fork rails/tunnels built on top of the deck. Again, I can only tell from certain angles of the video. I believe it is the reinforcements for the tractor to roll over the unit for mounting. That sure would be good engineering if fork blades fit through those tunnels.
Thanks for the suggestion It is a drive over deck and the rails sticking up are for the auto connect They make some thing called load and go that attaches on top of that that let you pick it up with the loader connect system so you can lift it up high and tilt it for cleaning and blade replacement. If I could find a way to attach some stake pockets for forks that would be handy
Just my thought, but I'd like to have a 2x10 or some such animal, across the back of the shelves where the forks come in to pick something up or get stored, to prevent punching holes in your siding. And a yellow "D" and red "G" on the fuel tanks, just so a new hand doesn't put gas into a diesel or the other way around! Now,,,, off to think about how to build my shelving, Thanks!
I thought the exact same thing about a backer board! Sooner or later those forks would be poking through the side of my building. Nice job with the shelving unit Brock.
Thanks. I have added onto it a couple times already. I’ve also been building custom pallets for my attachments. I’ve got my fuel tanks set up on a solar panel now Soon I should have the whole thing set up the way I want Thanks for watching
I would not recommend it. I feel like the two by sixes are strong enough for cross support but they do flex a little bit and I would be concerned about anything smaller. If you were going to build it out of two by fours I would put them closer together for sure
Nice setup but if you bolted or screwed a 2x4 to your 4x4 from the ground up to the bottom shelf and then one from the top of the first shelf to the bottom of the next shelf and so on they can never drop down. I see you used joist hangers but adding a 2x4 between shelfs will insure they can't drop down. Thanks for buying American made products, I wish more AMERICAN's would.

As I said before, always feels good to be organized. Nice set up Brock!! People are liking this video. 👍
Thanks
You've got a really nice setup there. I'd love to have that much extra storage at my place somewhere. Wish I had all those attachments too! Nice job!
Thanks!
I like your storage situation, wish I had that space.
Thanks
The 2 shop buildings were a big selling feature when we were buying the property this spring

Yeah, I have a new snow blade and we haven’t even gotten a dusting yet.
Thank you for watching
Nice setup and very nice you store your attachments inside. Great space saver
Thanks, and thanks for watching
Great idea

That’s a sharp setup bro. Nice work.
Thanks

The backer board is definitely something I need to do.
I have stickers all over the diesel pump designating it
Good luck with your project

put the mower deck on a skid more easy to move around
I thought about doing that. But you have to pick it up to put it on the skid so while it’s picked up why not just set it in place
@@RockhillfarmYT you would not have to lift it high just use the forks
What a boss.
Well I try

Would 2x4's hold the weight if you used those instead of 2x6's? P.S. Love the music.

With that mower deck sling, your next shelf is going to be way too high. Going to have to come up with a better plan, maybe the forks?
The mower deck should probably be moved on a pallet

Are you using the transfer tank for GASOLINE? Aren’t those prohibited to use gas?
