    It looks as handy as pockets on a shirt but it also looks like a good way to get killed or injured pretty badly. I probably would have had one of those things back in the day when I was cleaning up property b bb

      A person definitely has to be smart when using it. Still, out of all the things a tractor does this is not the most dangerous. I would go with rotary cutting.

    Great video Tony. Thank you. My husband and I are about to purchase the Tym 474 and we need this mini clip as we've got 5 acres of heavily wooded forest that needs clearing and trimming to make it healthy.

    365°? Haha! That's the kind of mistake I'd make if I were making a video. Great video, Tony! I'm going to have a Mini Clip by the end of the summer, so thank you for showing us another product to drool over. Sure beats duct-taping a pole saw to the bucket. ;)

    It looks really handy, but I'm having a hard time imagining using it on my Branson 2515H. Maybe, but it would be at the absolute limit, IMO (or at least my limit).
    Like so many of these specialty attachments, it seems you need to be able to make some money with them to justify the expense. The offset flail mower you used, I would use enough personally to justify it, though what I really want is a boom mounted sickle bar mower to stay 8 feet of so from pond and creek banks. At $10K or so, I would want to know I'd be able to make money with it to defray the cost.

      @@TonysTractorAdventure I only just got my T265 after 7 months on order. One thing I noticed is it needs 3 gears not high & low, I'm always changing from low to work to high for tramming & the 4 WD lever is a massive hangup point getting off other than that It's pretty good, oh and the backhoe needs it's relief pressure turned up, It's not even straining when the hydraulics stall out, playing it a bit too safe I'm feeling. I've only operated it for 4 hours and these are what I'm finding. Other than that it's great.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  2 роки тому

      Turn your steering wheel left to right while gently pulling the 4x4 lever off. This will take it out of a bind, and it will fall out easily.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  9 місяців тому

      I had to make a correction on this. I thought you were talking about the stump grinder video I just put out. Your tractor along with my TYM T25 are too small for the mini. It's not a horsepower issue but a weight issue. I am assuming the model you quoted was a smaller 25 horsepower. I know LS tractor has one model of a 25 horsepower tractor that is substantial in size and lift capacity. If it is that model then I believe it would work.

      @@TonysTractorAdventure Yeah, I'm just trying to maintain my acreage, not make money. On a cost basis, a pole saw does this job. I'd rent this sucker for a week at a time though, or I'd hire somebody to park out the trees and take out the lichen-filled hanging limbs. I got the backhoe with the tractor for fear that I'd never be able to justify the backhoe price later. ;)

    TONY!!! Watching your channel is great, but you are leaving out important information for those of us who are looking to get equipment like yours...for example....can you note what size tractor you are using in the video with what ever the tool is. It is hard to figure out if our tractor is the same size as yours just by watching. Please give the NAMES/Brands of the item you are using and who sells it. It drives my hubby crazy because he will see something you are using that we would like to get but we don’t know what the correct name for that item it so we can look it up someplace and without this kind of important information it’s hard to search for it.
