It looks as handy as pockets on a shirt but it also looks like a good way to get killed or injured pretty badly. I probably would have had one of those things back in the day when I was cleaning up property b bb
A person definitely has to be smart when using it. Still, out of all the things a tractor does this is not the most dangerous. I would go with rotary cutting.
Great video Tony. Thank you. My husband and I are about to purchase the Tym 474 and we need this mini clip as we've got 5 acres of heavily wooded forest that needs clearing and trimming to make it healthy.
365°? Haha! That's the kind of mistake I'd make if I were making a video. Great video, Tony! I'm going to have a Mini Clip by the end of the summer, so thank you for showing us another product to drool over. Sure beats duct-taping a pole saw to the bucket. ;)
Duct taping a pole saw. That is something I would do to get out of work! I can 100% recommend the Mini Clip. We have about 30 hours of use now and it is awesome.
greetings sir; thank you for the scripture reference, i am always looking for clean, videos to follow. i just subscribed and waiting on the future..................g
Man there's a lot of money tied up in so much new gear there. A little T265 loader/backhoe is my limit which will be here in about a month. It sure is nice to have new gear.
I would not have a need for it, but I use it around our new property. I have had several jobs because of this attachments too. Not many people can do this.
It looks really handy, but I'm having a hard time imagining using it on my Branson 2515H. Maybe, but it would be at the absolute limit, IMO (or at least my limit). Like so many of these specialty attachments, it seems you need to be able to make some money with them to justify the expense. The offset flail mower you used, I would use enough personally to justify it, though what I really want is a boom mounted sickle bar mower to stay 8 feet of so from pond and creek banks. At $10K or so, I would want to know I'd be able to make money with it to defray the cost.
I just don't show all the screw ups. LOL! In all seriousness, I am showing everything. The Mini Clip is very easy to use. It is like a big pair of pruning shears. I appreciate you.
@@TonysTractorAdventure I only just got my T265 after 7 months on order. One thing I noticed is it needs 3 gears not high & low, I'm always changing from low to work to high for tramming & the 4 WD lever is a massive hangup point getting off other than that It's pretty good, oh and the backhoe needs it's relief pressure turned up, It's not even straining when the hydraulics stall out, playing it a bit too safe I'm feeling. I've only operated it for 4 hours and these are what I'm finding. Other than that it's great.
I had to make a correction on this. I thought you were talking about the stump grinder video I just put out. Your tractor along with my TYM T25 are too small for the mini. It's not a horsepower issue but a weight issue. I am assuming the model you quoted was a smaller 25 horsepower. I know LS tractor has one model of a 25 horsepower tractor that is substantial in size and lift capacity. If it is that model then I believe it would work.
This piece of equipment is meant to be ran with common sense. We have used it for about 2 and 1/2 years now without any incidence. Most of the limbs that are being cut are too small to do any real damage.
As you pisted that scripture i was just puting my hands together and asking lord for forgiveness from today wile watching this and not even 20 sec later you posted scripture so that must be lord had you post that scripture on mini clip video right their it was for me psalm107
I can cut about 18' in the air. A bigger tractor can go further. We are clearing a lot of land for our homestead, plus we can make a little money on the side.
Very cool tool but I must say, as an arborist. You should follow up with a proper branch collar cut (maybe a poll saw) so the tree can properly heal and compartmentalize the wound👌
@@TonysTractorAdventure give a quick Google search on a proper collar cut. It'll show you what you need to know. Even if they are fence row trees it is still important. Very cool tool tho especially to make the first few cuts! Keeps you safe out of harm's way.
Look at it this way. Many more people have backhoes, but not many people have this type of attachment. I have made more money off this attachment than my backhoe, and it is much easier on the tractor. Light work.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Yeah, I'm just trying to maintain my acreage, not make money. On a cost basis, a pole saw does this job. I'd rent this sucker for a week at a time though, or I'd hire somebody to park out the trees and take out the lichen-filled hanging limbs. I got the backhoe with the tractor for fear that I'd never be able to justify the backhoe price later. ;)
TONY!!! Watching your channel is great, but you are leaving out important information for those of us who are looking to get equipment like yours...for example....can you note what size tractor you are using in the video with what ever the tool is. It is hard to figure out if our tractor is the same size as yours just by watching. Please give the NAMES/Brands of the item you are using and who sells it. It drives my hubby crazy because he will see something you are using that we would like to get but we don’t know what the correct name for that item it so we can look it up someplace and without this kind of important information it’s hard to search for it. Please, please add the information to your videos in the future. THANK YOU!!
Thank you for the input. This is the third or fourth time we have done a video on the Mini Clip. In the first video, we address the size of our tractor. If you click on the description under the video, there is a link to the equipment manufacturers' website. I hope this helps. Tony

A very handy attachment, no doubt about it! Keep up the great work, Tony!
This is one of my favorite ones. I could go around clipping branches all day. It is rewarding .
Very cool! 365 degrees 🧐
Kick a man while he is down! 😇😇😇😇
That was awesome Tony especially when you clipped that long limb over top of the Blueberry. Looked professional to me.
Thank you, my friend. This Mini Clip will pay for itself fast.
Thanks for posting Tony, it's always interesting to see new approaches to problems like high work.
I agree. The mini clip is a unique attachment for sure. I appreciate you watching.
Tony, you have more gadgets! All of them do some heavy work. God bless.
I hate labor! 😇
You are getting really good with that cutter Tony! Nicely done job! Have a good weekend my friend! See ya!
Thank you. It is one handy tool.
Have a great weekend too! God Bless!
That thing is sweet! I am really liking the size of that smaller tym tractor! Looks like a mini beast!
I have used the Mini clip on the T25 and it did great. I can't get as high as the T474, but the hydraulics are just as strong.
That is a handy tool it's unlimited to the amount of work you could do.
What would have taken me weeks to do has taken only a few hours with the Mini Clip.
Nicely done! You've really have those trees some tidy make-over looks.
I have much to learn about proper tree pruning, but this was more crisis intervention. Squirrels were jumping on his house!
Good job Tony. That is one awesome attachment. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you. It makes quick work of hard work.
Great job. Love that machine

Turn your steering wheel left to right while gently pulling the 4x4 lever off. This will take it out of a bind, and it will fall out easily.

I am really impressed by this attachment but I want to ask how many dents have you put on that pretty new red tractor trimming limbs???
Many people ask that. Not one dent! The camera is deceptive. I am sure it can be done, but nothing came close to the tractor.
Tony - when can you bring that thing up to Pennsylvania?! :). That was awesome! I thought my Stihl pole saw was fun, but that was amazing!
Road Trip! It is a blast!
Works but looks a little sketchy. Branches can go where ya didn't think they will sometimes. Its much better than a ladder. 👍

This w/JCB extension forks would really be some thing, but I think it needs a spinning blade & biting blade both to really sing.
It plays a pretty good tune now for a land owner.
Enjoyed your vodeo.
Thank you my friend! That was a fun day. I could use the Mini Clip all day. Fascinating.
I'd you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back ?
I put the link in the video description. I don't do prices .
Been seeing these on the 2 series 30-40hp tractors. Wonder if they make smaller versions and/or if this model will work with my RK24H?
I used it on my T264 which is the next tractor up.
I’ve got a 3032e and trying to figure out if this would work is the tractor not big enough
Those are some sweet toys you have 😜
Thank you. This one can make some money. Most people can do this stuff
I think we need to build you a mesh cover over the cab area to keep you from getting a wood shampoo, love the mini clip
It is so far out in front of the tractor, it seems safe. I still am looking for dead limbs, but a nice cover would be nice!
@@TonysTractorAdventure i can help if you want one, I weld every day I’m not sawing
impressive i wonder if one would adapt to my backhoe
Maybe, but the loader lifts much higher than my backhoe.
Do they make this for a bobcat skid steer ?
This is bobcat SSQ. They make a bigger one too.
it gets the job done but its a lil rough on the tree.

how large will it cut ?

How fare can you reach
Totally depends on your tractors reach and the length of the mini clip
whether it cuts 7"in a bite or not if it fully opened it jaws it would be far superior bc u could just take 3, or 4 bites on/at the same limb.
Its limitations are 7 inches of diameter. It becomes increasingly unreasonable to try more.
