3 years ago I found this video, i love mustangs. On that day I was binging mustang review videos because I really wanted one. 3 years later, As of yesterday I am proud to say that I am an owner of a silver 07. Sure it’s also not a v8, it’s a v6. But I gotta start somewhere. I will never forget the first time I got in the seat and started it. I teared up tbh. I’m happy with my mustang :)

Good for you buddy I'm happy for you I owned a 1965 fastback in California and I hated getting rid of that car I loved it so much last year I bought a 08 candy apple red mustang V6 and I have never been happier in my life it is like driving my 65 but now I have air conditioning awesome stereo power steering power brakes and they look mean slammed so enjoy your baby and make a lot of memories
The reality of the situation is all these guys that buy the v8s most of them live in large towns and cities and they never get over 45 miles an hour anyways so what is the use of having that big engine

In Florida, no Ac makes the value of a car plummet dramatically.
I also have an '06 V6 5 spd. For @ $1K you can do some upgrades that will change the character of the car (strut/shock tower braces, cold air intake, throttle body and axle back muffler. You're not going to have a fire breathing monster, but the chassis will be a bit stiffer, it will corner a bit flatter, accelerate quicker and get better fuel economy.
is faster than lets say a 08 honda civic? or a car similar to that? just as long as its not miserably slow bc I could change the exhaust if I got one then it would sound better but just want to make sure its not noticeably slow
Ben Turay Not sure about acceleration vs. the Honda Civic. You have to ask yourself which car will draw more compliments 10 years from now.

Best review I seen about this car. You went over every detail while all the other reviewers complained about how "slow" it is. Btw what type of petrol do you use? Do I need to put premium in it?

Do it, people might tell you to not get a v6 to get a v8 because it is faster and better but a v6 mustang is so much fun. I have a convertible and I love it I just bought it and it's so much fun

Driving a manual in any city is a nightmare, that's why I stay in the countryside.

Dispute the MINOR damages. This is a nice looking car. I would do a double take on it. Mines is an 05 v6 deluxe convertible style. But it's an automatic. I don't know how to drive a manual. 😔😔😔😔😔

Hey man sweet car. I know its already two years later but I'd like to know if you still have the car or traded it in for a GT. Anyway I have the 2007 v6 5 speed manual in grey with the pony package, leather, heated seats and all the added stuff except I must disagree with you on the cloth. The leather is much nicer than the cloth and as cool as the cloth looks the leather feels much nicer while driving. However I do love the red paint.
It's really nice. 2012 3.7L 6 speed here. Surprised the tachometer is on the left and not the right since it's a 5spd Manual.

I have a 4.0 v6 mustang as well.
Mine is modded 91 oct tune and nitrous system and I am going to just buy a turbo kit for my 4.0 mine is a automatic and you can still manually shift it but with a tune and shifting points adjusted the automatic shifts like a manual.

The center power plug being. Hot all time allows you to supply voltage to fuse block to retain ecm memory ....ie..computer engine control...radio theft,presets enabling. You to replace battery without critical memory loss.

I'm about to buy a 2007 mustang V6 for 5k from saving forever with my 14/hr job. Is their any difference in the engine from the 2006 to 07? Or is it exactly the same?
I got an 06 deluxe with 18k miles for 11.8k. It has a body kit, custom dual exhaust, shaker 500 stereo, and aftermarket rims + brakes
I found my 1owner torch red 06 GT premium in August 2019 with only 23,534 miles on it for $11,000 with a 4 year warranty.

Purple power degreaser will work on those rims. I swear to creation... You can get it at the dollar store by the galllon. Spray it on the rim and tires and scrub if needed, then spray with the waterhose! Badaboom that stuff works hard but gently and saves you a lot of work :)

And the funniest thing about most people not knowing how to drive a manual is that they’re incredibly easy to learn how to drive😂 the hardest thing imo which isn’t too hard anyway, is listening to the ending to know when to shift

I got a 2008 mustang v6 premium pony package with 0 problems dual exhaust, cold air intake and sequencing tail lights with a manual transmission for only 7k let me know how it's going with yours!

Just a tip.. when you slow down you don't have to always go to neutral, just keep the gear in it and brake and you can actyally slow dow by downshifting and when you are about to stop than press clutch and put neutral
I don’t think slowing down by downshifting is good for the gears
@@YakAttack64 As a commercial truck driver I do it all the time and I also do it with my cars. Of course you have to know what you are doing. You can't let's say from 6th gear go on 1st gear right. But you have to keep in reasonable rpm and shift 5-4-3-2. etc. it takes practice and expirience but when you learn this you won't even need brakes to stop your vehicle

I've had mine since new and have had no issues with the transmission, nor anything else with the car. I did have to replace the battery twice though.

Dude I’m in the same boat!! Literally looking at these right now and I wanted to learn stick on here! I was also feinding for a 350z at first!😂 but I’ve heard they are hard to work on, suck oil, and takes premium. So nah. Maybe I’ll start posting UA-cam videos of it too! I want to trick it out with a cool wrap, halos, tinted windows, shades, ect

This is a 5th generation Mustang that was produced from 2005-2014. your car produced 210 Horsepower. But I prefer the GT model because of the Big V8 but you saved money by going with the V6
I got one 2 years ago. A lot of people go to carbon fiber for the hood but that would be if you decide you want to keep and slowly restore this car. The dirt on the rims is easy, just use a cheap chemical and a plastic brush instead of wire. To get a tad more power a cold Air intake will do the trick. I caught flack for getting a V6, ignore it. It's your money.

@@user-wy5ih9xt3c Sorry for the delay. It currently has 271k miles. The engine still runs well. The transmission sometimes likes to slip, but other than that, it is a grand car. The sucky thing about the vehicle is everything is made out of plastic, like the thermostat housing, and the bolts like to strip. I just hate how people shit on these cars, because it's a V6, but it's better than these newer cars that burn oil at not even 100k miles.

these kids buy a v6 mustang & think there racecars.THEY NEVER WERE. but there very nice to get from point A to point B afforably & reliably.if you want a racecar, dont buy a v6 or gt model.go straight for the gt500.you WONT be disappointed.& get REAL about the 4.0.its a good truck engine from the rangers & explorers.

Hard work pays off! The scooter was "temporary" mainly until I got my license. It was kinda ghetto and rather slow, but I was the only sophomore in high school that could freely drive! I take pride in what I drive, while she's a lemon so far, and I've spent almost half of the cost to buy Sally in repairs, I still love her! Greetings from Fredericksburg!
