I hope, that this company will not become more popular. If that happens, they will lose their quality and at the moment, they make the best quality knives in the world. To accomplish something like this. From zero, to perfect, in only a decade, is something unheard of. The go in slow, but stable steps ahead and the kept the philosophy of quality over quantity, all the way from the begining to where we are now. Just as I said, let's hope, they won''t become more popular, because demand, will ruin the quality. Nice review! Enjoy your TRC!!
I think for an all around everyday knife the trc is better imo. They both have very nice steel and I think for hours worth of whittling the guardian ergos are superior. It’s more comfortable in every way for long use tasks and the micarta is beautiful but the handle is too large for its blade size so makes it more difficult and less comfortable to carry. I think the guardian 5.5 might be an optimal handle to blade ratio.
