This is the first COD campaign I’ve played in years and I’m having a great time myself but everything you’ve said had me nodding with agreement. Plus, any review that describes gun models as ‘mint’ and voice acting as ‘a bit wank’ has me hooked 😂 Good work mate! Bloody love this channel. 👍🏼

I still remember the first ever Call of Duty game. Played it without even knowing what it was and I never forgot how friggin amazing the campaign was. AAA gaming is dead... its just... dead.

That’s all that truly matters! If you’re having fun then who cares what anyone else says. I think for me it’s the enemy AI above anything else that let me down. Of that was worked on I could probably forgive more of it!
I just spent $10 for a 1 month Game pass subscription and I feel a bit of buyers remorse playing the campaign. Is the game awful? No, there is something to like. It is justifiably a Cold War sequel but what’s weird is that what they expanded from Cold War isn’t new at all. It is more in depth when it comes to gameplay and mission design but it’s still things we have all seen in the past. Essentially they are just borrowing a lot of mechanics from previous games and put it into this campaign. The story is fine and characters are just fine. But to Cold War’s credit, despite the story being very short. The game immerses you into its twisted and mysterious world from the very start
Well even if I was a billionaire, I'd still rather spend my time going down to the local dollarstore to save a few cents on a packet of chips, than waste my time and money on this. But then I'd also chuck Reggie a couple mill for his excellent vids, to help cover his tea-bag expenditure.
i was hyped for the first few missions then i encountered the bug on the skud hunt map then came the zombie mission i got annoyed that were back to this after years seemed copy n pased to me an then came the disapointment call of duty WWII was my fav there was no awe moments for me in this an you no your not into it when all your mates are asking you to play an your dragging your feet on the matter :P
I hope you never make it big, sell out and become mainstream..😉 Just joking...... but its people like you and WAB, who at least know what they are talking about. WaW was my last and best CoD game...and I have absolutely zero interest in these mega Hollywood movie and AAAA games....but just like quality indie games, your channel keeps putting out great reviews. COD campaigns are lowest common denominator action movie fluff; if you go in expecting advanced AI and tactics you'll always come away disappointed. There's a market for this type of brainless, set piece fuelled slop; we know what we're getting and it's unlikely to change. Meanwhile we can go play RoN, Six Days, Ground Branch and a bunch of other shooters that actually aim to cater to these requirements.

Copy and paste COD. No surprise. Here I am playing Batman Arkham on a VR headset "gimmick" and its amazing. It's almost like non VR is becoming the gimmick now with nothing but remasters and copy and paste jobs.
Everyone is too damn critical. Just enjoy thr game for what it is. Could it be better? Sure. But what's the point to hate it. On gamepass for the campaign it's great, hell even for the multi-player if it's what you like.

It's sort of strange seeing all these campaign reviews coming out when literally everyone already knows that no one buys these games for the campaign. Reviewing them seems redundant. We all know they're not gonna be good, even Activision knows they aren't good and they don't care because the campaigns aren't what make money.

Did the same thing, played the first 2-3 missions of blops 6, said “wtf is this dog shit”, uninstalled and installed star trucker instead
