Treyarch is very well known for putting unique weapons in their games, unlike the MW series where the DLC guns are nothing special (besides some weird MWIII guns that we don’t speak about) for Treyarch, no new weapon is similar to the last. And you can’t have a Treyarch game without a super clunky revolver
gotta love how they modeled the panzerfaust 3 pretty well, even down to the correct reload and the instructions on how to use the scope, then the scope is a pretty generic one
No Beretta 92F, Glock 17 or 19, no CZ 75 or 1911, and also, no Revolver or Desert Eagle either. But lets have a USP (which wasn't even out when this game takes place).

On top of the guns that they sell you on the season pass, you also have gunsmith thing to consider. Why have 12 different rifles when you can have 5 or 6 and each one can become 2 or 3 different weapons by simply modifying it, you can turn an ak into an aks-74 or and rpk

Although not the best cartridge for military applications, it's a plenty leathal round that serves well in the civilian hunting and self-defense markets.while I haven't chronographed it myself I've read that 22 mag from a rifle is about equivalent to a 9mm out of a pistol. So, while not extremely powerful, it's certainly powerful enough for varmint/predator sized game and 2 legged rapscallions.

Leon has special forces training so "he had special training before everyone else did" is fine enough. But he's not handling all of his other guns like a 2020 instagram operator
As great as 2019's animations were and continue to inspire other games, I wouldn't mind seeing less 'tacti-cool' animations. Not saying they are bad but just a preference thing.
@@colonelklink8790 I just checked and if I weren't to count all the variants of each gun (Like optical, infantry, sniper) then there would be 71 guns including pistols and dlc weapons. If I were to include the variants it would be well over 100. Also, I recommend looking around on the server lists since there are still plenty of servers that are full and have a queue. Though sadly, it just isn't the same as when the game launched and they were still giving updates
I wish they add with season some guns: glock, colt1911, famas, galil, aug, hk g33, groza, p90, uzi, scorpion, whalter mp, colt 9mm smg. It would be nice, if they add mod for burst weapon, to turn they in full auto. And KSV move from smg to AR category, cuz KSV is sr3 vikhr based on AS VAL…
The sound design for the guns is very subdued in this game (all the sound effects for reloading and rechambering are quite "soft") but I guess that's more accurate than the "crunchy" effects you hear normally.
I don't like bo6 but the 2020 MW franchise allowed more customizable guns that's what I love about it, but I think there needs to be am entire + list of accessories, attachments get overused overtime

It seems like there are 3 different styles of animations in this game. One is sully style (probably animated by him as he worked at treyarch). One that is shaky but still kinda stiff (something kind of like the Milano in cold war) and one which is IW influenced and in my personal opinion looks the best (USP 45, Ames 85, Jackal PDW, Kompakt 92, Dragonuv SVD and USAS 12).
Honestly…some of the worst guns in a cod I’ve seen in a while. No 1911 or revolver, but you get a Makarov, an auto makarov, and a .22 pistol. Majority of the guns look Ike they were made by AI and they all feel the same
I think it’s strange that they haven’t incorporated tactical reloads +1 round in the chamber yet. Even the RE4 remake added that, and RE has never had super realistic guns…

gotta admit, only watching this because of how little I am gonna play the game. I do like the OTS-03/SVU, but hate that the frontend can't have the right suppressor, or the underhand racking of the rifle (Which is GNARLY uncomfortable to do). Overhand would have been fine. Gun sounds are, across the board, generic enough that I praise any gun that sounds "decent" at best. Fun game, but lacking in choice when it comes to weapons imho

Ok.... * inhales in gun nerd rage * There is absolutely no way the Grekhova (Stechkin) would be that controlable without its stock IRL. The KSV submachine gun is a fictional gun. The Goblin Mk2 was a developemental prototype and never made it past that phase. The Mariner SP (Mossberg 500) can eject an unspent shell forcefully like it did in the animation however, you cannot put the shell back into the ejection port immediately after you do so because a shell from the magazine tube will already be sitting on the elevator. You will have to put it back in through the tube underneath. Also, the safety on the back should be going from forward to back, not side to side. The Tsarkov 7.62 is a fictional gun. The Swat 5.56 is a real gun BUT there is absolutely no reason to feed a round into chamber by hand unless you want a self induced malfunction. The AEK-973 did had a 3 round burst but could also fire full auto. The DM-10 (AR-10) is a larger model of the XM-4 (AR-15) and has the same exact controls. There is no reason for you to use the charging handle when the bolt is locked back and you're reloading after an empty magazine. You can just use the bolt release button! The Cigma 2B (Stinger) cannot fire without a lock and is used for anti aircraft purposes. Also why would you toss the battery out of a reusable launcher after using it when it can be reloaded? The LW3A1 Frostline(L96A1) has a free float barrel and never had a weaver rail, picatinny rail, or scope mount anywhere past the reciever or over the barrel. The LR 7.62 (PMG Ultima Ratio) was introduced in the year 2000, waaay after this games time line. AND lastly, There is no possible way a drill charge could ever work if you throw it. BLACK MAN, OUT!

With fewer weapon, I think they all served their purpose on each category instead of being another M4/AK with exact same stats just with a different model (we're missing revolver/high caliber pistol tho)
I agree with this. I see people complaining about the lack of weapons and yet it seems like the ar/smg/dmr selections fit their own niche roles instead of feeling like the copy&paste weapons seen in mwII. We do for sure need more pistols, shotguns, and lmgs though.

With rapidfire it has such a little delay between bursts that it's practically automatic. And its STRONG AF, 1 burst kill at most distances.
Rapid Fire Attachment fixes it for BF fans, although I miss the old bc2 iron sight AEK

Well a lot of these aren't as stylish and "tacticool" as the ones in MW. A lot of these are just pull the old mag out and insert the new mag in.

While I love battlefield 1, there is only 13 pistols in that game (excluding some of the pistol variants) while in this game there is 33 guns

It seems like there are 3 different styles of animations in this game. One is sully style (probably animated by him as he worked at treyarch). One that is shaky but still kinda stiff (something kind of like the Milano in cold war) and one which is IW influenced and in my personal opinion looks the best (USP 45, Ames 85, Jackal PDW, Kompakt 92, Dragonuv SVD and USAS 12).

Honestly…some of the worst guns in a cod I’ve seen in a while. No 1911 or revolver, but you get a Makarov, an auto makarov, and a .22 pistol. Majority of the guns look Ike they were made by AI and they all feel the same

I like how they add obscure weapons or weapons that didn’t even exist at the time, yet leave out staple weapons of the era.
I think it’s strange that they haven’t incorporated tactical reloads +1 round in the chamber yet. Even the RE4 remake added that, and RE has never had super realistic guns…

gotta admit, only watching this because of how little I am gonna play the game. I do like the OTS-03/SVU, but hate that the frontend can't have the right suppressor, or the underhand racking of the rifle (Which is GNARLY uncomfortable to do). Overhand would have been fine. Gun sounds are, across the board, generic enough that I praise any gun that sounds "decent" at best. Fun game, but lacking in choice when it comes to weapons imho

Ok.... * inhales in gun nerd rage * There is absolutely no way the Grekhova (Stechkin) would be that controlable without its stock IRL. The KSV submachine gun is a fictional gun. The Goblin Mk2 was a developemental prototype and never made it past that phase. The Mariner SP (Mossberg 500) can eject an unspent shell forcefully like it did in the animation however, you cannot put the shell back into the ejection port immediately after you do so because a shell from the magazine tube will already be sitting on the elevator. You will have to put it back in through the tube underneath. Also, the safety on the back should be going from forward to back, not side to side. The Tsarkov 7.62 is a fictional gun. The Swat 5.56 is a real gun BUT there is absolutely no reason to feed a round into chamber by hand unless you want a self induced malfunction. The AEK-973 did had a 3 round burst but could also fire full auto. The DM-10 (AR-10) is a larger model of the XM-4 (AR-15) and has the same exact controls. There is no reason for you to use the charging handle when the bolt is locked back and you're reloading after an empty magazine. You can just use the bolt release button! The Cigma 2B (Stinger) cannot fire without a lock and is used for anti aircraft purposes. Also why would you toss the battery out of a reusable launcher after using it when it can be reloaded? The LW3A1 Frostline(L96A1) has a free float barrel and never had a weaver rail, picatinny rail, or scope mount anywhere past the reciever or over the barrel. The LR 7.62 (PMG Ultima Ratio) was introduced in the year 2000, waaay after this games time line. AND lastly, There is no possible way a drill charge could ever work if you throw it. BLACK MAN, OUT!

With fewer weapon, I think they all served their purpose on each category instead of being another M4/AK with exact same stats just with a different model (we're missing revolver/high caliber pistol tho)
I agree with this. I see people complaining about the lack of weapons and yet it seems like the ar/smg/dmr selections fit their own niche roles instead of feeling like the copy&paste weapons seen in mwII. We do for sure need more pistols, shotguns, and lmgs though.
