Amazing instructional video, clean footage! step by step advice from start to finish in every process! Amazing video we need more channels like this! Thank you Brian!
This is the best video on car repairs in general! So detailed and explanatory. I own one of those 325xi, its a 05 and exact same color. Right now i need to make a list of tools needed and clear the garage. Thank you millions of times !
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. The video was essential for me to be able to make the necessary repairs on my 2002 BMW 320i 2.2 24v. My name is RaGe and I live in Brazil, on the southern border with Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay
Thank you for this excellent DIY video everything worked perfect once I had the right tools. Great step-by-step instructions with all the detail that are needed.
Is it T50 or T60 for the tensioner? Both sizes were said. Also is there any info on what type of wrenches were needed for the fan. I started pulling apart the car following along the way and got to the fan and had to stop. Wish I'd watched the video first. All in all a great video!
6:04 here you don't show if theres anything behind the pulley, when i look at diagrams theres this metal dust cap behind the pulley?? i dont have it please help
@HowtoAutomotive You would think. But I attempted to do it on my 04 325CI and it's fused onto the shaft. I read on the forums alot of guys actually breaking the pulley trying to pry off and tearing stuff up
There are lots of videos on the E46 regarding belt and pulley change. But your's is the only one that dealt with taking off the fan. Good job
I try to make the videos as complete as I can make them. Thank you for watching!
Did you buy the fan tools?
