I've run this scenario three times and it always turns out different so I'm looking forward to seeing where this one goes. Having a dog as a PC is a great idea. I might steal it next time I run it at a con. :) One note, though: If you're running something in a real world location, please do some basic research of what it looks like. Covent Garden isn't a "mall" and the bookshop is on a regular street. Fun fact: It's an actual bookshop, the Waterstones on Garrick Street/New Row where Ben Aaronovitch used to work for a while.
regarding slogans you might find on a British ceramic mug, there a range of variations on a national one (I imagine dating from the World War, though whether the first or second I'm not sure) 'Keep calm and carry on!' - so a common version on a tea mug would be 'Keep calm and drink tea'. But we love our tea and coffee mugs, so there's a huge range of motifs, designs, characters, styles and so on. Tea cups are very different to mugs; they are smaller and have a different shape, and should ideally be accompanied by a saucer (small plate with a raised edge) on which the cup is placed (like its own special coaster). As tea is made with boiling water it's very hot, and to be able to have some without waiting for it to cool down, a small amount of tea would be poured onto the saucer and drunk from that, although this is a practice I've not seen in probably 30 years.
The covid specific slogan was 'Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.' That was very much the Government line, however, so a Rivers of London character who isn't Lady Tyburn is more likely to have some sort of parody slogan, possibly referencing Barnard Castle, eye tests, PPE contracts and parties at Number 10.
@@crouchingmarker Also popular(?) in London are those "All I got from London was this lousy t shirt". Regarding covid wasnt Hands Face Space used a lot?
This is a fun group and awesome storytelling. Also, thank you James for putting up with the sometimes befuddling pronunciations of location names. :) I'm so glad to see the series are working their way through the published adventures. I'm planning to run them all soon. This is a treat!
@ChaosiumInc Could you reorder the RoL playlist so it runs from oldest to newest, please? Episode 0 is at the bottom, instead of at the top which makes listening to them in order a bit tricky...
This is yet more proof that CoC is superior to D&D and I wish that far, far more people knew that it exists. D&D is all the rage, but it’s not a game that appreciates all of its fans - little Kyle’s own words are proof of that. But CoC appreciates all of their players and fans, and it should be a huge mega-hit imho.
Thanks All !!! Art, tea cup slogan: Parliment wants a raise, let's clap instead (slogan surrounded with several hands clapping emojis) Frontline NHS workers with substandard PPP got no raise, only clapping; parliment got a raise, no clapping.
If Art needs a slogan for her characters mug..."Keep calm and ..." Fill in the blank with whatever. Btw it would be almost impossible to stick out on the Tube
You guys produce such entertaining content! Keep up the great work!
This game is amazing so far!!! I am falling in love with these awesome characters!!!

Fulcrum, ashokas and callouses code name in star wars rebels
I think it's the white background, but Dave looks like the prime suspect in a murder documentary.
Does anyone know how geographically spread are these people in Australia? I seem to recall a video where they are split east west?
For Roll20, is there going to be an official Rivers of London release? Right now I'm running it with the Starter Set for Call of Cthulhu.
So far there's only a fanmade character sheet. I haven't tested it yet and I think it's quite new.
Finally! LETS GOOOOO
