OK so I felt incredibly stupid while watching this and I'll tell you why.
When I first clicked on this video I thought it was Blackwater Creek for some god forsaken reason. Anyways it started off similarly so I was like "oh this is cool." Then it went into a different direction and I was like "I think I remembered skipping something near the beginning so that's fine." After a fair amount of roleplay from you guys I was like "This is just them roleplaying. It's fun and I'm enjoying watching it." When the story went to the apartment I was like "this is a bit off the trail...but ok I'll keep following along." THEN James mentions the flute playing and I was like "OH NO. I REMEMBER READING THIS IN THE OTHER STORY." lol. I watched like 3/4 of this video before realizing it was a different scenario lol.
My stupidity out of the way, this was fun to watch. I would love to see more like this. More specifically I would love to watch you guys play Scritch Scratch if you're taking any requests. That one looks very interesting and I've wanted to run it myself.
Chaosium upped the bonnet budget.
Jackson plays banjo, he already owned that hat. 🕵️
feel like you let them get to sticky jack a little early. And I felt the the whole apartment scene went a little fast, missing a lot of encounters. That being said the pacing really benefited from it. And I like the encounters with jacob Smith in the second half.
I am running this soon for my party, so I appreciated a play through being posted to give me ideas about how to run this!
It’s possible they purposely condense things, i would imagine because this is a promotional video for selling the product.
Around 1:16:00 I’m currently listening to this in the drive threw line and the employee through the speaker asked what I wanted and the keeper responded “one moment” and the employee responded like she heard him.
3:04 the players missed an opportunity to reply with, "Forget about iiiiit!"
Awesome game!
Anyway you could put which sound scapes you used added to the description?
