I just got my first delivery of LMNT and Carnivore Crisps. I love the Mango Chile, Chocolate Salt and the Watermelon. When it comes to Carnivore Crisps, I have only tasted the Leg of Lamb so far. Chicken Skin was sold out when I went to order. I also got a box from Carnivore Snax (their bags are twice as big as Carnivore Crisps). I like them both. So good.
I got the book yesterday and I am enjoying. I've been searching for a celeriac latke recipe for weeks. I can't wait to make them tomorrow (testing out the recipe).

I have had issues when I donate platelets and I am having an issue with my hemoglobin. I am guessing it's because of my dental issues and gums. I haven't been to a dentist in a while and I have been battling periodontal disease on my own. I got something good to fight it and will see if it works this time. I am assuming from my gums bleeding that is why my iron is low. It was 12.8 and I am a man, and I know it's supposed to be 13.5 and they got it up to 13.2 by telling me to wash my hands in very hot water, which I did and it raised it. Just wondering if I have an issue with circulation. I will have to research that as well.

I eat ground beef with salt and drink water every day and never get tired of it.
Bonnie is Daddy’s twin! I do believe that cutting gluten and sugar will put Hoshimotos in remission. I did ketovore for awhile but the past 2 years I have included rice noodles daily and gluten free bread to add back some healthy weight and I have had zero symptoms of my hypothyroid and I’ve also breast fed 2 babies and was pregnant through adding carbs back in. NO GLUTEN is KEY!

2 weeks ago I started using LMNT chocolate salt in my coffee, I use 1/2 packet. I just made a second cup of coffee and didn’t add the LMNT and I thought, what’s wrong with this coffee!?!? I love it!

This is how i make my soup as an adaptation of asopao from Puerto Rico except no cream, and i cook the chicken first to get the skin crispy and use it as a topping or on the side.

I have a question for you and for other pregnant woman here too, I know it’s not about diet but, what is your opinion in getting an ultrasound? I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I would like to have one but my husband is hesitating. We are looking for different opinions since we don’t really know if it could be harmful for the baby. Thank you!
Random commenter here- I had 2 ultrasounds with all 3 of my children. HOWEVER- my last midwife had a treasure trove of documentaries, one being an old 70s CNN segment that she had taped herself. It was literally only 10 minutes wish I could have copied it and saved the video myself! Anyhow, it actually discussed the possible harmful effect of ultrasound (even the doppler ones where they monitor the heartbeat that woman can now just purchase from any store and do it themselves). I won't explain this perfectly but there was quite a few scientists at the time studying it and what I do remember is they showed through an arm ultrasound that your cells become irratic and go all over the place and can you imagine what's it's doing to baby's in mothers stomachs and their cells when put under ultrasounds. I don't think they studied it or can in moms bellies bc of ethical reasons but I do remember a scientist talking about especially infant girls and their ovaries I can't remember all the details I'm sorry. With all the medical jargon I do know they were saying ultrasounds are not good and they wouldn't recommend them. Flash forward to 2022, that concern has been lost or covered up by the medical mainstream.
It was titled the dangers of ultrasounds and of course you can't find it online today. In essence it was saying they use to be used only if you thought baby had a problem, not "just because" or for fun. They can't prove any later post poned side effects because how could they track that. But with the rise in autism, child leukemia and the many more conditions its worth questioning.
I will not be getting an ultrasound with any future children. So take this for what you will! ♥ congratulations

I’ll keep looking and maybe I’ll be able to find more. 🙏 It is my first baby and since I am going to have a home birth, I would prefer to have all the information necessary about the baby, to avoid any potential complications. It’s a hard decision 🥺
@@dianabastidas7498 If i could offer a few words of comfort-
As im sure you know most homebirths are completely safe and uncomplicated and thankfully there are other markers that indicate complications like through blood work or if you were to have placenta previa etc. All 3 of mine have been homebirths. My first two midwifes were super liberal and very motivated for me to do all their tests etc (which was fine) but it was my last midwife which was more conservative on approach (which i just had my third baby 1 month ago) who really opened my eyes and soothed me to have a confident birth and that most tests that even Midwives do can be uneccessary with healthy individuals. I believe she felt this way due to her own research, experience (she was 72!) And mostly because she is the midwive for all the mennonite women in my area who typically dont do ultrasounds, any type of testing and usually just ask to hear the babys heart beat 6 months into their pregnancies. In no way do i say that in thats what everyone should do. But it places reassurance in my heart that 99% of home births are safe without all the testing/ultrasounds etc. As long as you feel your baby moving everything is likely normal.
I can speak for myself though in saying prior to seeing that cnn film i was anxious to see my babys and get an ultrasound every time to visually see them so i know that excitment well.
Do what comforts you! ♡ if its your first i know there are a lot of unknowns of how to approach all of these new decisions. Congrats again! Sorry for the book lol

Just make sure to lower your carbs slowly. I recommend lowering about 20 total g per week. Don’t do it over night since usually it will cause a fluid shift. Make sure to eat plenty and drink electrolytes! ♥️♥️

Hello, I am 52 years old. I have been trying to eat a ketovore diet. The problem I'm having is I cannot eat large meals. If I try, I literally get nauseous. I literally cannot eat more than two eggs. Or a small steak. Or maybe one hamburger patty. I sure the heck can't eat them all at once. :-) So obviously one meal a day probably won't work for me. I have a lot of weight to lose but I keep hearing how you need to make sure to eat enough food and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to do that. I was thinking I would try to just have a four hour eating window and maybe that could work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Ive watched alot of videos and I personally do carnivore diet but all of them pretty much say the same and it works for me- Listen to your body. Also Dr Ken says Eat until you’re comfortably stuffed. So if you are getting comfortably stuffed after a steak then its ok to stop there. No need to eat as much as someone else may. Also no need to go OMAD if that doesn’t work for you. Just eat when you’re hungry and you will naturally fall into a rythym. Add butter where you can if you’re worried about not getting enough fat.
