I saw the cars at Madison Square Garden when I was young... The best concert I ever seen!!! They played all their songs consecutively, no pauses no talking... Benjamin Orr was amazing... And gorgeous. May he rest in peace 🙏

Just 25 years ago I was enroute to St Louis from Las Vegas, somewhere over north Texas or sowest Kansas, had a walkman on, with FM a station would last about 4-5 minutes. This came on and played entirely before the station was lost. Now, old, retired, melancholic, I will never forget this piece and will always feel very sad hearing it. Just got home from visiting Benjamin's burial place and hometown. Hard to believe he is buried in the middle of nowhere in a country cemetery. I was there on his birthday. Also went to Cleveland and visited his home and high school and tried to imagine him being there...

Saw this Heartbeat City tour in summer 1984 in Richmond, VA. Remember, when this song began, there was a hush in the crowd, just like here, likewise, when the song ended, we screamed with teenage delight. What a fantastic concert to witness. The memories iof being 17, not a care in the world & the incredible Cars in concert !!!!

My first concert, they opened for Foreigner in Atlanta, it was 1978, if only I could go back to that night, they were absolutely awesome !!
