      It's kind of like going on a fast. You could do all of it in 21 days. Have you ever heard if a Daniel fast? This is a little different but you can eat fish and fowl and veggies. In a nutshell.

    A lot of issues we have these days are from how things are processed. Started milling my own organic wheatberries and using the flour in sourdough products. The “whole” fresh grains actually help the way it process in our bodies and nutrient absorption. I think we still need these 21 days fix type things because we have never eaten perfect and still don’t eat only at home. Just for anyone that wants to look into it! Jesus made grains and that’s what he would’ve eaten 🥳

    • @CrystalsCleanKitchen
      @CrystalsCleanKitchen  Рік тому +3

      That is so cool that you mill it yourself. I would love to learn how to do that. I completely agree that God made grains. We of course ruined it with our processing. My brother was in Israel and on the border of Ukraine when the war started and he said they ate tons of bread He was so shocked how he felt. He said his body responded so well to it. It was of course not so processed like it is here. It was so eye opening.

      @@CrystalsCleanKitchen that’s so cool! Yes I feel 100% different if I eat something that’s not fresh milled it’s crazy. If you have a KitchenAid you can buy an attachment for it, so easy! I got a nutrimill. Another thing that’s mind blowing is the fresh whole grain contains 40 out of the 44 daily nutrients we need! Jesus is smart!

      Mussels are a great substitute for red meat, I used to have low iron until I started eating it for dinner at least once a week. It really helps, just make sure to have some vitamin C the same day because the body needs it to absorb the iron, a couple of kiwis after dinner do the trick. Hope it helps.

    I will say that some of advice in this book is good while others is not and can be misleading some people. For example, grains are not bad but certain species of grains are. Most Americans have issues bc the wheat species used in America is problematic. But you go to Europe where they eat a ton of bread and pasta we don’t see these issues. Why, they use a different species of wheat.

    • @CrystalsCleanKitchen
      @CrystalsCleanKitchen  28 днів тому

      The reason why America's grain is problematic is that in the 1950s I believe it is they modified our grain and stripped it of all its nutrients, but you are correct grain in other nations is definitely not as bad for your body

      She has a ton of recipes in the book. You can still have fish and fowl. So what I like to do is like chicken, veggies and a fat

      It’s an adjustment for sure. Whole 30 cook books will help. You can eat fish and fowl she says. And berries for the fruit.
      So basically lots of veggies and chicken haha

      @Crystal's Clean Kitchen chicken does have lectins that don't agree with everyone and fish have lots of parasites. What if someone is sensitive to both ?

      Well maybe just focusing on plant protein then

    I feel I have estrogen dominant, but I'm vegan. You say it's from meat, is there anything else? I have just come off Mirena IUD, I wonder if that's got anything to do with it.

    • @CrystalsCleanKitchen
      @CrystalsCleanKitchen  2 роки тому +1

      I feel like I do as well. Meat was the main thing that she talked about. I will have to keep studying other things about hormones to try and figure it out. I hear you. I’m in the same boat.

      @@CrystalsCleanKitchen Yes, it's interesting that so many concepts such as hormonal resets and other new ways of looking at food and exercise don't take into account that much about people who are plant based. I don't eat dairy or meat and I also don't drink alcohol. So, I am guessing mine is connected to the IUD removal perhaps?? I have so many questions. Glad to hear I'm not alone on this.

    • @CrystalsCleanKitchen

      It very well could be fun he IUD removal I wonder if it would cause spikes in your hormone level.

      @KundaliniWithKatrina 2 роки тому +1

      @@CrystalsCleanKitchen I know that Mirena IUD has Progestin the synthetic progesterone hormone. So, now that it's taken out, I've discovered I have the Mirena crash, which is a crash of low progesterone which makes estrogen dominant. Just wondering if the hormonal reset will help? But I don't eat meat, alcohol or dairy. So, for me I'd be mainly cutting out grains, sugars and fructose.

    • @CrystalsCleanKitchen
      @CrystalsCleanKitchen  2 роки тому +1

      She does mention that resetting all of them at once helps even if you don’t think you need all of them. So maybe it will help

    This video had so much great info but I found myself distracted by the eyeliner that seemed to be more heavy on one eye than the other. SMH why did this distract me so much? Could it be a hormonal imbalance 😪😪

    I havent eaten meat (except cod, tuna, chicken 2oz a day), sugar, grains, seed, nuts, dairy, bread, pasta, oils except olive, ghee & avacado, no potatoes or alcohol for a year and a half. No processed foods, everything eaten at home and I just cut my caffeine to 2 cups of coffee in the morning. When will the hot flashes end?! Lol. I have autoimmune disease and my diet is mainly fiber. So now I need to cut out fruit? Omg.... 🫣

      Wow that is a ton. I’m so sorry your going through all that. Recently I’ve been learning a lot about hormone disrupters in our lotions and vitamins ect. That would be something to look into. Maybe it’s coming from another source. Maybe talking to a naturalpathic doctor would help also.
