  • Dr. Rowe shows how to self pop, crack, or release your lower back with a foam roller.
Easy, effective foam rolling self mobilizing exercises are shown that may help release lower back tightness and stiffness from the low back to the hips, pelvis, and sacroiliac (SI) joints. These deep stretching movements may end in a satisfying POP or CRACK.
They can be done at home or work, pretty much ANYPLACE and ANYTIME! That way you'll be able to release pressure throughout the lower back QUICKLY, and get the pop or crack you're looking for.
Watch now and self mobilize and release your low back at home!

Wow. Great stretches. I did the exercises, and was expecting lots of popping etc. I didn't really hear any, HOWEVER, when I stood up, my hips feel a lot looser than they have in ages, and lower back feels great. Thanks again. You're a life(and money) Saver

I did the exercises from the neck video and this one. The more I practiced, the more the pain intensified and thought this is not going to release as much as I need it too, then suddenly with the last move, I sat up and all the pain just disappeared !! From my neck, shoulders and upper back! I can't tell you how helpful this was! I suffer from pain that makes me cry and keeps me in bed for a while. My entire upper body feels free and loose ! Thankkk uuuuu

Great video as always. Hoping you can help, I keep getting inundated with ads for those back stretchers, I hope you know the type that I mean, they usually have a coloured rubber strip running down the center and have an adjustable curve. I've been so tempted to get one, but feel very uninformed, or even wondered if they could be harmful. I wonder if you could give some info on them, or maybe even do a video on them, as to whether you would recommend or not. Thanks for reading.

I to try these.I have had terrible lower leg and back pain for months and my PCP has been taking tests.I have been to a chiropractor 3 times and got no relief. I was told this is arthritis related. I am not sire sure because the pain feels muscular or in the tendons. and I suspect static nerve related. I had shoulder surgery in in August and I was down for months. I had great physical therapy and my shoulder is recovering strength and full mobility. At the time my PT ended I started to have lower leg pain and a pain on the left side of my right knee. When it did not get better I saw my doctor. I have an MRI Monday. At times the pain is terrible and has effected daily living and activities. I am going to go out and buy a form roller and try these as I suspect that my skeletal and muscle balance is off due to surgery, and being in a sling for two months and being so off balance and inactive. I am now working out successfully and feel almost no pain at all. But later it returns. when I walk or stand. I feel no pain when I sit or lay down. Strange, wish me healing light and renewed vitality. Thanks for the tips on the video, they made sense.

As a runner who is training for a marathon, these foam rollers ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx9XSsjzA4f84VmhBCHlyhec7XILIxennL are really good for sore and tight muscles. This one is a good size (mine is the purple, 36 inches) not too big but big enough to work and roll both my legs at the same time - I took a photo holding the roller next to me just to provide a better representation of its size. I noticed some reviewers who complained that this is, “just a foam noodle”… and yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s a high density foam roller. It is absolutely NOT the same consistency/strength/durability/ or texture as a ‘pool noodle’ thought and I disagree entirely with those that say so. As a former collegiate athlete and marathon runner, I’m comfortably giving this roller 5 stars. It’s lightweight and durable and does just what I need it to do at a budget-friendly price. Overall, I have no complaints and am happy with it!

My chiropractor never uses the word crack or pop, instead he says it clicks even if it makes a sound like a shotgun blast

You'll have to contact UA-cam over that, since they control it. (I wouldn't waste your time 🙂)

Ya... Don't try this.... You will destroy yourself. Rollers are not good for lower backs PERIOD.
