I wonder if Chris has the confidence in his critiquing abilities to tackle the really meaty films, he often stays clear of them and feels safer with kids films and films he can take a big shit on easily lolz. although i was impressed he did a review of 'Stay' with Ewan McGregor recently. that was cool
Has it occurred to you that maybe he hasn't seen it yet? it's not a very wide release, and the summer is just now ending so it's not like many movies like that have been released.
+Yannick L (Abalister) I genuinely don't see the point here, he's reviewed quite a few more obscure films, fairly recently too like Neon Demon and his analysis on Stay. He's doing fine as far as I can see, and like I said, there really hasn't been many big drama or art house releases yet, aside from hell or high water since summer is just winding down, in fact, he's pretty much hit all of those major releases so far this year. It's kind of pretentious and condescending to imply he never reviews real movies just because he won't review Hell or high water YET, a film that's not a completely wide release. And what is he gonna do for indie movies that don't play in his area, wait until blu ray and THEN review it when there's 0 demand and it won't get views? It's also pretty moronic of OP to want Chris to be some kind of curator. He's a movie reviewer, past couple movies he watched sucked. Get over it. What is he supposed to do, just snap his fingers and create a new movie that's worthwhile?

Sad to say my boyfriend and I paid to watch this movie at a theatre a week ago since school was really stressing both of us out. We had never heard of the movie before, we expected to at least jump a little, we didn't, in fact, my boyfriend said that the scariest thing in the movie was the window (boyfriend works as a window washer). The good news is that the movie lived up to its name, and we felt better by the end of it. But trust me, it's definitely not worth $15.

The mother was completly in a state of denial. She used her new enviroment and her child that still alive to make up for her lost of her first child. I guess she haves a mental breakdown and she doesnt even notice. until she speak it outloud. But the problem doesnt solved after leaving that place because she still sees the man behind the curtans.. CONCLUSION: the disappointments room is bin used like a metaphor. Its more a psychological triller.
Thumbs up for the Beavis and Butthead impersonation alone.
