      This review was actually temporarily blocked for a couple of weeks by the studio. But thank god Stuckmann managed to get it back on UA-cam.
      I wouldn't be surprised if the people behind this "film" were trying to block negative reviews on UA-cam since everyone pretty much hates this insulting piece of garbage.

      Well I'll tell ya, OUATIH will not be anything like this because the whole movie isn't About the Sharon Tate murder. Its featured but in a brief way because its about an actor (who happens to live next door to Sharon Tate) and his stunt man friend who navigate the waters of Hollywood as the industry and the American culture changes in 1969. So the film will reference it and touch upon it but only because it was the biggest thing to happen to Hollywood and America in that year when everything was changing.

    I won't watch it. What happened to her, her baby, and the others in her home was pretty straightforward and brutal. To try and twist the events and the people themselves by adding in some spicy supernatural/premonitory shit is so tasteless and just...wrong, very wrong. If you are going to do a film about Sharon or the Manson murders, then you have to direct it in a path that has some thought and quality, cause that is respectful. That is why I have full confidence in what Tarantino is doing. After seeing what he could successfully do with touchy subjects such as slavery and Nazi Germany....it is pretty evident that he is one of the few people in the world that can manipulate true events in a way that not only makes an amazing film, but is 100% acceptable.

      You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Samoa Joe and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another wrestler, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add Kurt Angle to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at Sacrifice, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Kurt Angle KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try!
      So Samoa Joe, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice.See Joe, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice.

Not everyone is built to make an original story or guys like Michael Bay only know how to make an entertaining movie that is not meant to challenge you mentally. Everyones got a style and a comfort zone and a guy who started out doing documentaries will be attracted to real world movies.

    Shame, I used to be the biggest Hilary Duff fan and still love her, but was hoping this would be her mainstream return. She’s so beautiful and likable. I’d love to see her in a serious awards contender drama. Maybe she doesn’t have the acting chops, but it’s been so long since she’s challenged herself, and with her new life experiences as a mother, it’s possible she could put out a stellar performance if she wanted to. Imagine if someone like Quentin Tarantino wrote a cool character for her, it’d be awesome 😂

    • @rapheedomingo9889
      @rapheedomingo9889 5 років тому +1

      Shawn Fields I agree. And since Gordo did specialize in documentaries, I don’t think it would’ve sat well with him to capture the unfortunate murder of Sharon Tate in such a hyperbolic and unrealistic way-it would’ve been waaay more grounded. This was so clearly a shameless cash-grab, just read the letter of the director explaining his “vision” of the movie to the *sister* of Sharon and why he *needed* to make it.

    • @shawnfields2757
      @shawnfields2757 5 років тому +1

      Raphee Domingo I also agree with you agreeing with me. I forgot, Gordo wanted to be a professional filmmaker, but loved shooting documentaries. Thanks for the reminder, dude. Haven't seen the show in years, but when I did, I had a huge crush on Hilary Duff. She was cute back then in 2002. And I was about 9 or 10. I also loved the Lizzie McGuire movie. Sorry for going off topic. I don't get the chance to talk about one of my favorite Disney shows often. I've heard the director explaining his bullshit excuse to Sharon's family, it's despicable. She should beat his ass. I would've. I also would've torn the letter to pieces and told the director to go get fucked. It's just plain disrespectful to all parties involved. I hope the director NEVER makes another movie again. And, I hope SOMEONE kicks his ass.
