Five Rules of Gutman 100-Day Challenge:
1. Workouts: Engage in one 60-minute workout daily including active recovery (walking, swimming, jogging, light yoga)
2. Protein - Min 1 gram / kg / body weight
3. Fiber - Min 5 plant points ( any fruit, vegetables, nuts or seeds will be counted as 1 point)
4. Meditation - Min 10 min
5. No ultra processed food

@@Maahi713 I started this yesterday, not only because I want to loose weight and improve my health but also because I have an allergy from chocolate. Eating anything chocolate flavoured gives me acne, I want to start a skincare routine and stop food with sugar for a month to see if there is any difference in my weight or reduction of my acne.
@@LeviAckerman_1910 I haven't checked my weight yet but eversince I have stopped eating sugar my acne has reduced a lot and I too have acne problems and I think you should also start drinking chia seeds soaked in water because I think that could also be the reason behind the reduction of my acne and it has multiple other benefits too,hope this helps😊

I started following your videos doctor pal gut health improved lot i decreased my weight,acidity disappeared,my hair started growing. i succesfully reversed my balding

I zeroed my sugar intake ,high intensity cardio 10 minutes,15 minutes of weight lifting
Consuming legumes,greenies not only spinach and amaranthus but some other locally available greenies in fields .
Non veg once a week reduced rice intake.
One tamarind piece i'm consuming daily
So even Dr.Pal is above average in terms of body fat and he needs to get into the average zone according to the doctor who checked on his report! Dr.Pal takes ‘never judge a book by its cover’ to a whole new level😅. It’s a wake up call for many skinny fat guys😄😄

This is something that is extremely relevant. Most skinny guys may be carrying a lot of visceral fat and have a high body fat %, despite being skinny. Irrespective of the weight of body type, body fat must always be within optimal range at all times. Gaining lean muscle is one of the best ways to take your health to the next level, that's needs to be made aware. Which is why we have body composition as one of the 5 components of fitness. Would be great to see Dr Pal build some muscle, which will work wonders for body composition. However tackling a skinny fat is a challenge as you can't go on a caloric surplus, nor a deficit!

I had DEXA scan recently to check bone mineral density and did many DEXA scans on rats to check for fat and bone analysis

Day 1 ✅
7.30am papaya and watermelon
8.00am pre workout smoothie ---3 tspoon oats + 6 almond + 2 wallnut + 1 tsoon chia seeds + 1 tspoon pumpkin seeds
8.45 to 10.15 workout
10.45am post workout meal ---1 whole egg and 4 egg whites
12.30pm lunch --- veg salad+ dal + foxtail millets + curd
4.30pm snacks --- apple + spinach smoothie
6.30pm dinner ---veg salad + dal + rice
8.30pm one glass milk

this is not realistic for most people and very ed inducing

Good Morning Dr.Pal! Been doing IF since Oct 2021 following you and your videos.Lost weight and was feeling overall good until Feb 2024.Started having gas/bloating/rumbling noise in the stomach (especially at bedtime),regurgitation,discomfort in the upper abdomen.My family physician put me on Omeprezole 20mg which helped with my symptoms 60%.In the meantime did Ultrasound of the upper abdomen and H.Pylori breath test which all came normal.I am back to Omeprezole 40mg since yesterday for a month as advised by my doctor.Had cauliflower for lunch yesterday and felt gassy later part of the evening,so took 2 softgels of Gas x and went to bed.Really don’t know what is happening inside my tummy.Feeling scared to eat and the mental agony for the past 2 months is hard on me.I am unsure if I am doing anything wrong but 💯 sure my gut is not happy.I am a vegetarian and rely on dals and legumes for protein but I have stopped taking them since this issue began.Just want to vent my frustration.Thanks for reading!!!
Have you consulted an ayurvedic doctor for treatment.... ayurveda medicines works really good in gut problems...and buttermilk works wonders for our gut

I’m quite overweight, I just did 25 squats, 50 wall pushups and 100 jumping jacks(not very strict but good form). I feel so good

With diet and exercise I could only get my body fat go from 24% to 22.5% with much effort

My grandfather was 90+ when he expired..never been admitted to hospital let alone your Dexa scan... I don't know whether modern med making things complicated 😅

How are you above average even after eating so clean?
indian genetics by default stores lot of fat because of starvation of our ancestors. We have to work extra hard to get rid of access fat.
@@MrMiyagi005 Is it actually true? Because as a Bangladeshi I don't eat that much processed for and eats a lots of veggies but still I am very bulky.
@@MrMiyagi005 Its because of our protein deficient carb rich diet. Hit the gym reduce carb get enough protein it should change. Gentics is not a significant contributer
He doesn't lift weights, probably only does cardio. Building muscle is the only solution to fix skinny fat.

Just so that others are aware a DEXA scan can still have a margin of error from 1-3%. While not a big % it's still quite a difference visually.

How accurate BIA scales are compared to DEXA? I use BIA as baseline and monitor changes overtime.
