Mexico City is the largest city in North America and serves as the biggest hub in Fallout: Nuevo México. While still largely under development, we are thrilled to finally reveal this iconic wasteland. Once the vibrant heart of a massive metropolis, Mexico City now lies in ruin, a battleground for factions struggling for dominance and survival. From the decaying colonia of Chapultepec to the submerged canals of Xochimilco, the city is a haunting blend of beauty and brutality.
This project is completely free and not associated with Bethesda. It is a fan-made creation driven purely by passion and creative work, with zero funding involved. A dedicated effort to share a unique vision of a post-apocalyptic world in México.
The following content has been created with the intention of representing a dark, fictional reality inspired by the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout. It does not seek to glorify or idolize acts of violence committed by criminal groups but rather to highlight the dangers of a devastated world.
LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO es la urbe más grande de América del Norte y el punto central de Fallout: Nuevo México. Aunque sigue en gran parte en desarrollo, estamos bien emocionados de poder por fin mostrar este páramo icónico. Alguna vez el corazón vibrante de una metrópoli inmensa, hoy Ciudad de México se encuentra en ruinas, un campo de batalla donde las facciones se pelean por el control y la mera supervivencia. Desde la colonia caída de Chapultepec hasta los canales sumergidos de Xochimilco, la ciudad ofrece una mezcla inquietante de belleza y brutalidad.
El siguiente contenido ha sido creado con la intención de representar una realidad oscura y ficticia, inspirada en el mundo post-apocalíptico de Fallout. No busca glorificar ni idolatrar los actos de violencia cometidos por grupos criminales, sino destacar los peligros de un mundo devastado.

Please note that Fallout: Nuevo México is still a long way from completion, and this reveal trailer is intended to give you a glimpse of what we ultimately aim to achieve. The mod is built around multiple hubs, and the Level of Detail (LOD) for these hubs is still very much a work in progress. While many aspects of the project are unfinished, we hope that this trailer helps showcase our vision and provides a sneak peek at the immersive world we want to create.

I love how every fallout mod lately has had thier own unique take on robots. Fallout london having pendragon and the atkin robots with thier ww1 inspired look, while This one has robots that to me give alot more of a futurama/bender inspired look, or even something more true to form 50s sci-fi
One of the most interesting parts of these types of Fallout fangames/mods is how they execute the concepts of the mutated fauna and the robotics in the abscence of Robco and the other american things
Looked like 1800s Austrian forces for me first, after seeing the painting Maximilian I (who came from Austria and was Emperor of Mexico for some time), but after googling they could be very well modelled after 1800s Mexican soldiers aswell.
I especially like how London and Mexico's robots look like discount knock-offs for anything from the United States. As one of the last countries in the world to have a reliable(ish) oil supply and leading the way when it came to fusion tech, it would make sense that they have the most uh, *robust* looking robot models. Also in keeping with typical American tech design, they look a bit heavy

it could be both. new mexico shares border with mexico (and mexico itself was annexed by usa in the fallout universe), kinda like how new vegas isn't just nevada, but also has parts of california in it.

@@pacer6694 Nah they changed locations, originally the mod set in the state of New Mexico and was more of a van buren inspired mod (the ghoul reserve was even included). But it seems that there has been a change of plan and the mod is now set in mexico and the story revolves around the postwar cartels

YES. I got to play Fallout Sonora and loved crossing from Arizona to Mexico and the desert landscape with Caesar. After hearing some foreign gamers say they literally learned full English after playing GTA, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout I always wanted another Fallout in Mexico being voiced in full Spanish. Closest thing we got is Fallout: Sonora which mostly takes place in Arizona but lets you explore a little bit of Mexico and explains the current situation of the country which I found really intriguing.
