I visited Cuenca once, and you missed some of my reasons it's one of my favorite city I've ever been to in my life. 1) The beautiful river that runs right through the middle of the city, mixed with these colonial style architecture makes it look like a fairy tale town. What's so great about this is that there is a tendency to identify a country with its' most well-known city (Ecuador = Quito, etc.) and most of us don't really know the other large cities in the country. Beautifully done - this guy's videos are getting better and better.
A few years ago I spend 2 month in Cuenca. Things that you miss : 1. It's a very clean city 2. You have a very beautiful river 3. You can find more street food after 18h00
4. People are very nice 4. There is a place where they craft the original Panama hat (it is not in Paname that you will find them) 5. Many thousand of americans take their retreat there 6.
