@Darth Zedd Yes really. He saved Obi Wan in this scene, who then ended up protecting and training Luke, who ended up turning Vader back to the light side and then killed Sidious. So yes he did save the galaxy inadvertantly.
Nope, he clearly doomed it. Basically, all these bounty hunters were gathered to elaborate a plan to assassinate Palpatine. Obi Wan prevented the assassination attempt because he was the mole of the group. If Dooku's plan succeeded, Sidious would be dead before Anakin's turn to the dark side. What this means is that there would be no vader and no empire. What's interesting to ask though, is what Dooku would have planned for the rest of the war now that Palpatine was out of the table...

Two things 1: Cad Bane is such a cool amoral character. I wouldn't even call him evil necessarily. He does care about the members of his team and he doesn't even really have a quarrel with the Jedi unless he's being paid to. In Hunt for Ziro he was perfectly content to part ways with Obi-Wan and Vos before Obi-Wan said he was arresting him. He's completely amoral and would probably be fine with working for the Jedi if they paid him 2. Headcanon: Obi-Wan secretly enlisted Fives to help him become a marksman good enough to pass as a master sniper and no one can tell me otherwise. To elaborate, Fives is an elite soldier Obi-Wan has a good relationship with so he would likely have sniper training and Obi-Wan would trust him to keep his mouth shut
@@kobyrne6634 I didn't. It's a headcanon based on the fact that he would've had to learn sniper skills from somewhere and Fives is in my opinion the most likely person with the skill and the disposition to keep his mouth shut

Rex or Cody would be more likely, I imagine Cody because Rex is a little to close with Anakin to train him, not to mention I imagine the force had something to do with it.
The thing is that the sniper before obi wan was a pro = he hit the target when it appeared. Obi wan is a jedi so is not like he has ability with a sniper rifle, he just knows where the target will be before it appears, if he just training for a single mission would have been better sniper than people that use that gun since years ago it would have no sense. That one line, you know which one, is why all of the best bounty hunters in Star Wars are such beloved characters. They're badasses who can compete with force users solely with skill, but they have strict moral codes to govern themselves on. Bane is disgusted at acts of cowardice, Boba and Jango value respect, Fennec takes her debts seriously, Ventress will swindle any employer that takes things too far. I just realized that Jedi would be super damn strong if they used blasters. The foresight that the Force gives them would be crazy for aiming, even ignoring funky stuff like curving blaster bolts with the Force.
@@vladlenakim6243 he doesn't seem dead, his lights were still flashing and considering the show was full of people who never truly die I'm confident Cad isn't
I'd like to imagine a universe where Obi Wan ran away with Satine, becoming a bounty hunter as a cover. He's already got a killer voice as Hardeen, cool helmet, and he's Obi Wan, the greatest jedi alongside Yarel Poof, the council's errand boy!
Think of how Obi-Wan earned this level of respect from Bane for him to save his life, just days after Bane left him for dead with the Hutts. That's pretty big
@@maskeddweller2674 that doesn't really matter. Obi-Wan was still able to earn Bane's respect in his disguise, enough for Bane to think that killing him so easily would be a waste of a good bounty hunter
I don't know why, but these shows are a large part of the reason Star Wars continues to this day, especially with the "cash grab" state the movies exist in. "Let's make another one! It doesn't have to be _good,_ it's *STAR WARS!* It'll move units, regardless!" Unlike the movies which haven't given us a decent new character (and even stomped all over the old ones) or story in a decade, these shows have been breathing life into: The alien worlds, the universe at large, and the characters in it. Ahsoka (for as rocky a reception she had at the beginning), the clones as individuals, the clones as a whole, Hondo Ohnaka, Cad Bane. I even enjoy Rebels, though I would still call it a step down from the Clone Wars. Every scene with Ezra and Hondo gives me life, lol Hondo: "And this is my esteemed friend and business partner, _Lando Calrissian!"_ Azmorigan: "Whaaaat? This isn't Lando Calrissian! It's the Briger boy from Lothal!" Hondo: * to Ezra * _"You_ *lied* _to me!?"_ Ezra: * looks away, embarrassed, because he's lied to someone he's slowly starting to like more and more (aka "joining the club") * Hondo: *"I* _KNEW_ *I liked you!"*
Honestly if anything the fact that Ashoka was an annoying unlikable child at the start worked in her favor in the long run, we got to see her grow into an awesome character and portraying her as unlikable prevents the 'new original character being better than pre-established characters' vibe.
Anyone else lose their minds over how good of a job they did on Cad on book of boba? Thought he looked awesome and they did a heck of a job on those eyes, creepy as hell.

When I take photos and want the sky to look blue, I lower the exposure time otherwise it looks washed out.
These arcs were some of my favorite
Who would have thought ...!
Yeah man
"So uncivilized." -Gunsmith Obi-Wan Kenobi
this was the original squid games
Lol, squid game “before it was cool.”
I loved it when Obi Wan punched the guy so hard he made a microwave sound
If your gonna kill em, do it like a man- The most badass bounty hunter quote of all time.
I just realized that Jedi would be super damn strong if they used blasters. The foresight that the Force gives them would be crazy for aiming, even ignoring funky stuff like curving blaster bolts with the Force.
I think their is a bounty hunter who uses the force to get accurate kills in legendss
The manliest line: “If you’re gonna kill him do it like a man”
Cad looking alittle pale in this warm light
one of the best episodes of season 4 and a shame that I find this arc quite underrated in my opinion
Idk why the shot of Embo crossing his arms and looking down in approval with Cad Bane holding Kenobi looks so badass
Anyone here after Cad Bane being Reintroduced for Live Action?
At least this showed Cad Bane has some sense of honor. Sure, he is a killer, but one worthy of respect.
Rest In Peace Cad Bane :(
He is alive
@@mathais6538 Um, well, I have bad news for you...
@@vladlenakim6243 he doesn't seem dead, his lights were still flashing and considering the show was full of people who never truly die I'm confident Cad isn't
@@chuggaavsme No more Disney deaths, the man has escaped death once already when they should've left him dead lol
"If you gonna kill him, do it like a man"
I'd like to imagine a universe where Obi Wan ran away with Satine, becoming a bounty hunter as a cover. He's already got a killer voice as Hardeen, cool helmet, and he's Obi Wan, the greatest jedi alongside Yarel Poof, the council's errand boy!
Can we just appreciate the fact that if Jedi decided to use blaster weapons they’d literally have aimbot
This episode was Star Wars squid games
Cad bane is a cool man
I love how for a second obi wan was willing to die to keep his cover intact.
Yeah dude clever. I'm trying to put together a crew for a risky mission, so let's kill the most promising candidate.
Think of how Obi-Wan earned this level of respect from Bane for him to save his life, just days after Bane left him for dead with the Hutts. That's pretty big
Bane didn’t know it was obi wan
@@maskeddweller2674 that doesn't really matter. Obi-Wan was still able to earn Bane's respect in his disguise, enough for Bane to think that killing him so easily would be a waste of a good bounty hunter
Imagine if Kenobi actually became a bounty hunter...bro that would be poog.
well he is force sensitive so he used the force which slows things down for him
He make a talented bounty hunter!
He kicked all the other bounty hunters ass one of them whom was cad bane. The best in his biz at the time.
Poog? Whats that?
@@MasterChiefSpartan117 you know like, porg
the species
😬
If obi-wan was an actor: I’d give him an Oscar for his portrayal as Hardeen
For somebody that thinks blasters are uncivilized he certainly has good aim
If this wasn’t obi wan then rako hardeen would be my favourite Star Wars character
I love the way Eval's freaky Lil fucking body moves, nice work animators
Probably the only good thing Cad Bane has ever done in his entire life lol
Eyyy! Who’s here because of boba fett mate?
That’s when he learnt about the high ground
I don't know why, but these shows are a large part of the reason Star Wars continues to this day, especially with the "cash grab" state the movies exist in. "Let's make another one! It doesn't have to be _good,_ it's *STAR WARS!* It'll move units, regardless!"
Unlike the movies which haven't given us a decent new character (and even stomped all over the old ones) or story in a decade, these shows have been breathing life into: The alien worlds, the universe at large, and the characters in it.
Ahsoka (for as rocky a reception she had at the beginning), the clones as individuals, the clones as a whole, Hondo Ohnaka, Cad Bane.
I even enjoy Rebels, though I would still call it a step down from the Clone Wars. Every scene with Ezra and Hondo gives me life, lol
Hondo: "And this is my esteemed friend and business partner, _Lando Calrissian!"_
Azmorigan: "Whaaaat? This isn't Lando Calrissian! It's the Briger boy from Lothal!"
Hondo: * to Ezra * _"You_ *lied* _to me!?"_
Ezra: * looks away, embarrassed, because he's lied to someone he's slowly starting to like more and more (aka "joining the club") *
Hondo: *"I* _KNEW_ *I liked you!"*

Honestly if anything the fact that Ashoka was an annoying unlikable child at the start worked in her favor in the long run, we got to see her grow into an awesome character and portraying her as unlikable prevents the 'new original character being better than pre-established characters' vibe.
One of my favorite episodes
Ive watched all eps of clone wars so many times and still do. Good stuff
Here before the algorithm takes ahold
It is upon us
When Count Dooku straight up does what Cad Bane says
Went from Cad Bane to Chad Bane
Bane and Embo are my favorite bounty hunters :)
Anyone else getting any Ca Bane content recommended to them, ever since Boba Fett Episode 6 came out?
Great scene and best Bane quote ever
Thanks for the comment!
1:33 “Do it like a Man”
~Cad Bane
Anyone else lose their minds over how good of a job they did on Cad on book of boba? Thought he looked awesome and they did a heck of a job on those eyes, creepy as hell.
His intro was pretty badass in that episode,he looked even more intimidating
If you’re gonna kill him, do it like a man. Fav Bane line for sure.
"If you're gonna kill him, do it like a BANTHA."
This is such an epic moment of the clone wars
Moralo: ur luck ran out
Cad Bane: *And I took that personally*
