I've never heard anyone else point this out before, but the moment at 2:14 where Ahsoka puts her blade to the Seventh Sister's neck and says "you are beaten" is *exactly* the same stance, action, and phrase that we see Vader pull on Luke in Empire Strikes Back. This was almost certainly written that way intentionally to show that Ahsoka is likely emulating what her own master did to her during training sessions. Just a nice little touch from Filoni.
Seventh Sister: "I don't have time to waste on you child." Ahsoka: "Hello there!" Seventh Sister: "Wait, that can't be... Yeah no, it's not him, is just Ahsoka..." *Moment of silence* Vader: *in complete disappointment to that sentence and confused* "WAT?!"

I just wish there was a scene where Ahsoka would’ve been able to talk with Qui-Gon’s force ghost. Like somehow, during the Rebellion era, Ahsoka ran into Obi-Wan on Tatooine in need of advice and Obi-Wan would respond as such: Obi-Wan: That is troubling, Ahsoka, but I do not have the answers you seek. Perhaps another could answer your questions. Qui-Gon: *fades in* Hello there, Ahsoka Tano.
@@leoismaking I think it could even be argued that Qui-Gonn would have also deduced what the Clone Wars was really about and revealed Palpatine sooner.

As if Inquisitors who spend most of their time just bullying the weak and defenseless would have any chance against a Clone Wars veteran who was trained by one of the very best Jedi there was.
@@grunut4631 Yeah but Ahsoka was his apprentiece, Inquisitors are his attack dogs. While Anakin helped Ahsoka become better and develop her technique and he wanted to teach her everything he knew, he definetly didn't do the same with Inquisitors. In the new Darth Vader series it is revealed that Vader had only one sparring session with Inquisitors (where he stomped them all, brutally, one of them needed serious medical help), after that he said that he will give instructions only to Grand Inquisitor and that he will teach the rest. This means that Grand Inquisitor was the only one who recieved any form of traning from Vader. It should also be noted that Vader kept a lot of things away from Inquisitors on purpose teaching them only small pieces of what he and his master knew.
This scene sort of reveals that the Inquisitors aren't really intended to be elite jedi-killers. In reality they're hunting hounds. This is the first time in the series they have to fight someone who is functionally a fully fledged Jedi Knight, and the result is that they are completely crushed. They're meant to deal with former padawans and upstart force-sensitives. Against the genuine article they're just supposed to flush them out into the open for Vader to hunt down.
naturally. Ventress was a trained Dark Jedi who regularly did battle with knights of the Order and could fight at their level. The Inquisitors are all novices never fully trained to hold to the Rule of Two who grew up in an era more or less devoid of Jedi and thus don't have the skills or experience necessary to fight them.
vanguard1234523 Also, the Inquisitorius don’t know the ways of the Sith, because « always two they are. A master and an apprentice ». Vader trained them but against a real well trained Jedi Knight, they are no match without that knowledge
I love ashoka in this show bc none of the opps have ever had a real fight before. She was literally, from the age of what, 11?, A combat veteran. She fought in every single war of the clone wars, unscathed, honing her skills not just against the empire, but against force sensitive opponents, fully grown ones, veterans themselves, and BEAT them. Hands down she's easily one of the worst possible people those inquisitors could have run into. She didn't even need to fight them as much as she did, she literally did it to teach them a lesson. They ain't shit.
@@jasoncummings7 That's the think, KK would write Ashoka to lose to Rey. If we're lucky, Rey would get pushed into a corner before the plot armor kicks in, or she'd stomp Ashoka as bad if not worse then she did palpatine

Most new fans don't understand how much Ahsoka fought in her life. Ever since she was a little kid she fought in actual galactic scale war and myriads of duels against actual sith lords and their apprentices. Definite war vet and a hero, and a trained and experienced jedi in purest form, despite the fact she left the order.
Which is why I am so confused as to why she doesn't mop the floor with the lady in The Mandalorian? Not to mention she doesn't even act like Ahsoka. Did filoni forget his own character or something?

@@drixcek9782 opinions may differ, which is a good thing and I can understand yours. There are basically two feats, that make me think, she could stand a chance against Dooku. 1: Her Performance against Darth Vader. Of course Ahsoka got dominated by him but she could held her own against him for about two minutes and probably even longer if there hadn't been a cliff behind her to fall down. Ahsoka had be somewhat near Vader's power. Otherwise the fight would have been over in seconds. Vader is made an absolute Monster in new canon. He has evolved past his Dark Side ROTS version, both in skill and in power. Vader is considerable more powerful than Dooku now and probably would have dominated Dooku as hard as Ahsoka. I could give Dooku a win in 1/10 matches due to Vader' vulernability against force lighting though. But Anyway: Ahsoka being able to hold her own against Vader for a decentamount of time is a feat that qualifies her for fighting against Dooku. 2´: Her fight against Maul in S7 Clone wars. Filoni stated that Maul was the superior duelist but a focused and fear-controlled Ahsoka could could fight on his level. SHe was very close to him at this point. Maul on his hand is a fighter that would give Dooku already some trouble. Based on that, even S7 Ahsoka wouldn't go down against Dooku without a bit of a fight and she has been stated to have grown considerable in skill and power towards rebels. I see Dooku still edging Ahsoka out by a little, but AHsoka should have better stamina. If Dooku finds an opening early on, he would win but the longer the fight goes, the better the chances are for Ahsoka. Depending on circumstances, I would say 5-7/10 matches would go to Dooku, 3-5 /10 to Ahsoka. Those are basically my thoughts, but I can understand yours as well. Though I must disagree with your describtion of the episode in season 6. "Dooku kicked both of their asses"... Dooku was clearly having trouble against Anakin, which Palps just watched, grinning in enjoy, already forshadowing his intention to replace Dooku by Anakin.

When Ashoka grabbed the second sisters light saber and turned it off she was just flexing because experienced light saber duelists create a force field around their hilt so that if they fight other force users the adversary doesn't just use the force to turn off their saber, Ashoka knows this, the Inquisitors do not. You can also see it in the Brothers saber throw, where rather than come back to him still lit the saber just falls to the floor dead because he's not skilled enough to either/or call it back and keep it lit. @@KomandantMirko Because a lightsaber battle is not like physical fighting as how we see them in medieval times. If it was, then we wouldn't see so much spinning, somersaults, jumping, and giving up your guard. Lightsaber duels between force users involve feeling out the force around your opponents, where they push, you either avoid, or guard. Area's where they aren't focused on, you push. Lightsaber battling doesn't just involve physical conditioning, it involves force conditioning, and one of the basics of jedi/sith training is protecting the weapons you're carrying. Imma be honest as much as I do love ahsoka I think she was a bit of a Mary Sue back early in the clone wars cartoon. She was able to somewhat keep up with grevious when she was a padowan. I shouldn’t have to remind you that grevious has killed many Jedi nights during the clone wars and was Jedi master level. She also used to keep up with ventress who was also very strong and there was many times where plot has saved her.
I love how Ahsoka absolutely punked these guys. She wasn't stressed for a moment and I don't blame her. After the clone wars, I'd be surprised if anything phased her anymore

She might also have some skills of sureso spending time with Obi Wan in some missions. Ahsoka is also a line of lightsaber master just think about it.... Ahsoka master is Anakin, Anakin's master is Obi Wan, Obi Wan master is QuiGon and Qui Gon master is Dooku (he was a jedi), Dooku master is Yoda, Yoda master is a unknown creature from Dagobah
+connor etchells I did. Anakin lightsaber style compared to Vader is far from different. Anakin focuses more on one lightsaber forms while Vader learned all forms of lightsaber combat. He even stated due to his defeat by Kenobi and his cybernetic suit he needs to revise his form to benefit his suit. Vader and Anakin are 2 separate characters.
+Tom Norton Well the thing is Obi-Wan and Anakin were extraordinarily powerful Jedi compared to the others, both with the potential to become Grand Master of the Order. Kanan is a pretty average Jedi, even if his training is unfinished. Not only that, but Ashoka has an experience at fighting Sith. She was one of the rare bunch to fight Dooku Ventress, Maul, Oppress and others. She has way more expertise than Kanan when it comes to such fights. And of course she's more powerful than these two inquisitors. Inquisitors are merely tools to be controlled by the Sith, they are basically Slaves. Also they cannot learn the ways of the Sith like Vader does, because that goes against the Rule of Two (totally canon, Bane was in Clone Wars).

@@fly672 Yes, they were not shown much in the way of defensive forms in lightsaber combat. It was all-out attack.
@@grunut4631 yeah, but the inquisitors were trained in a two-week camp, while Ahsoka and Anakin fought an entire war together.
Pretty much. Pretty pathetic when Ventress was stronger than these guys.
naturally. Ventress was a trained Dark Jedi who regularly did battle with knights of the Order and could fight at their level. The Inquisitors are all novices never fully trained to hold to the Rule of Two who grew up in an era more or less devoid of Jedi and thus don't have the skills or experience necessary to fight them.
vanguard1234523 I can't imagine Sidious wanting them too powerful as then Vader could use them against him.
I’m sure the way it goes is that the inquisitors hunt down younglings/padawans. Then if there’s a jedi knight/master, that’s when vader steps in.
vanguard1234523 Also, the Inquisitorius don’t know the ways of the Sith, because « always two they are. A master and an apprentice ». Vader trained them but against a real well trained Jedi Knight, they are no match without that knowledge
I love ashoka in this show bc none of the opps have ever had a real fight before. She was literally, from the age of what, 11?, A combat veteran.
@@drixcek9782 Dooku isn't that crazy powerful. Always I hear, he held back, but when does he really go for it? Almost got defeated by Anakin in S5, in S6 Dooku had the upperhand tho. I guess you can say Ahsoka indirectly killed the Eighth Brother in the Season 2 finale. I think she was the one who damaged his lightsaber.
SPOILERS BELOW
Ahsoka killed the Sixth Brother on the novel Ahsoka. That's also where she got her white crystals from.
@@StarNameKev oh yep, i forgot. But i think that was kanan who broke the eight brother´s lightsaber. but im not sure
Inquisitor: "I don't have time to waste on you child."
Ahsoka: walks out and is like "How bout for me.:
Inquisitor: "a surprise to be sure but a welcome one"
also Inquisitors: *proceeds to get rekt*
What's even cooler is she originally got those white lightsabers, from being hunted by the old inquisitors, she just flat out turned their red lightsabers white in battle
Wait, that happened during the duel? I'd have imagined that would have happened only after the fact, when she had time to sit down and concentrate on it. Can you give me a book quote on that?
That happened afterwards, she killed them then took their sabers and healed the crystal
@@Randoman590 if memory serves she force pulled the crystals inside the inquisitors lightsaber causing it to blow up and kill the inquisitor. crystals remained intact though. it's cool but it's one of those things where you wonder why doesn't just every lightsaber battle end like that.
U mean sixth brother
@@KomandantMirko Because a lightsaber battle is not like physical fighting as how we see them in medieval times. If it was, then we wouldn't see so much spinning, somersaults, jumping, and giving up your guard. Lightsaber duels between force users involve feeling out the force around your opponents, where they push, you either avoid, or guard. Area's where they aren't focused on, you push. Lightsaber battling doesn't just involve physical conditioning, it involves force conditioning, and one of the basics of jedi/sith training is protecting the weapons you're carrying. Obviously if an opponent could just snatch your lightsabers, or make them explode, then the duel is over.
we gonna ignore the fact she closed a lightsaber that wasn't hers? not many can do that
I have seen only The Son do that before.
@@xd51000 Yoda did that too in the very first episode of clone wars.
So only a being made of the force (I think I’m right about that), fucking Yoda and ahsoka have done that
@@wholesome_masochist4113 Oohh! I never noticed that Yoda did it againts Ventress. Thanks for letting me know! :)
@@xd51000 If you really want to get technical with it, there's even a whole lightsaber fighting style that revolved around turning your saber on and off midfight in order to get by an enemy's defense. As it so happened, darth treya also used her lightsabers in that manner (she used 3-4 simultaneously except with the force alone) and used the force to turn people's sabers off mid fight as well.
Honestly, it’s hilarious when anyone affiliated with the empire think they can win against clone war veterans.
Reminds me of their time on the Interdictor. While Rex got himself captured, he did get rescued by Kanan. And then the crew of the ship was defeated by Chopper. All three of them Clone War veterans.
Many of them are Clone War veterans as well, so
What do you think the Great Jedi Purge was?
It's very rare a clone wars character actually dies in rebels, a couple do but no spoilers.
@@samsonguy10k to think about it artoo-detoo was also a clone war veteran who saw a lot of combat
I mean yea Ahsoka is highly skilled and she kicked their asses but you gotta give props to the seventh sister for at least holding her own for a hot minute.
She should be glad Ahsoka isn't that willing to kill unarmed opponents
Ahsoka wasn't even trying lmao
As if...she was so dependent on her little toys to just last that long...pathetic
Ahsoka: *walks in*
Inquisitors: Why do I hear boss music?
Alexa, play “At Doom’s Gate”.
Sister: Your capture will please Lord Vader.
Ahsoka: I've been kicking your asses for two minutes straight. Do you honestly believe a few clone trooper rejects can take me down?
In a Dave filoni project yes. He needs jedis so much.
also, at this point they're almost certainly conscripted Storm Troopers, not actual Clone Troopers
I doubt they're clones anymore, most of the clones died and/or were made into purge troopers after the clone wars.
They turn into mindless clones
Technically speaking, she only kicked their asses for around one minute. 34 seconds, give or take, for the Brother.
Greatest jedi and sith of all time trained ashoka no wonder shes so op, also she has improved alot since she left the jedi, ashoka is as skilled as a jedi master at this point

wajahath khan oh OK. I thought you were talking about Ashoka
In canon in my opinion anakin is the best sith and could have been the best jedi if he didnt turn to the darkside, also he is the chosen one so...
I love how these inquisitors think they stand a chance against a *citizen* who not only battled General Grievous when she was 14 and survived in multiple occasions, but also one of the most deadly assassins, Ventress, and even defeated a former Sith Lord without her lightsabers. Then she also survived Order 66 on a Jedi cruiser full of clones and in the Ahsoka novel she completely swept the floor with an inquisitor without her lightsabers once again.
Like do these two really think they stand a chance against this *citizen* ?
they don't know that she played the jedi role for 6 years
Rebels: "You are beaten"
Clone Wars: Hippity choppity your limbs are now my property
To be fair, Ahsoka isnt as bloodthristy in Rebels as she was in TCW.
Jean Gentry She wasn’t bloodthirsty at all after she left the order. It makes sense as development as well since she was allot more reckless back then, especially with Anakin’s influence. She’ll probably still cut down Stormtroopers & anyone else who isn’t important to the story like they’re nothing (like everyone else does) though. Just like how those 5 Mando’s she decapitated in one spin in TCW were.
@@seth-nico With all the shit that goes down in star wars im surprised none of the characters have gotten shellshock
I think you mean “hippity hoppity, your heads are my property”
@@primeoctober Ashoka definitely has in Rebels & in TCW S7, she’s traumatised, just hearing Anakin’s name alone sets her off. She fainted when she made contact with Vader for the first time, when he was in the Tie. Obi Wan was as well. He couldn’t even say Anakin’s name when he was fighting him in ANH because of how guilty he felt. His final thoughts before Anakin killed him were watching Luke play with some wooden toys he had made him when he was a toddler. (This is Cannon btw, forgot which book it was though)

Being trained by Anakin will do that
@@cabooseisthevehicledestroy indeed, it was the force that brought me to Anakin Skywalker I am grateful for his training
@Theonlydezman: Your first sentence describes her, Anakin, and Luke. Their character development is comparable to how people grow in real life. People start off being remarkably petty, prideful, and self-centered in youth, but with that comes a great amount of joy, humility, and love to counter these flaws. They’re meant to experience from early ages the consequences of human fault and the benefits of divine strength so that they can learn to take this graceful process multiple steps further as it and they evolve over time. The point is for them to be the best they can be by conquering fault and embracing the light.
The storytelling behind the three aforementioned characters is meant by God to remind people of persistent grace and spiritual growth, whether the writers known of it or not.
Theonlydezman funny cuz it’s true.
Too bad it's canon that Rey >>> Ahsoka.

@@conorgleeson2453 They're Inquisitors. Their job is to hunt down upstart force-users and former Padawans, or flush targets like Knights and Masters out of hiding so that Vader can deal with them personally. If you had to label them as something else, Dark-Side Force-User is an accurate title.

I still remember when people were complaining about how she was the kid appeal, Mary Sue, self-insert fanfic character. Ahsoka Tano has come a long way, both in-Universe and out.
The whole clone wars got more mature as it went on, not just Ashoka. It started very kiddy.
The first season was a kids show but it became more serious and plot driven later

Ahsoka kicked the shit out of those two amateurs. I like how this video shows that she really is far more powerful than Kanan.
+Tom Norton Well Kanan didn't finish his training, and the fact that Ahsoka was trained by Vader himself. Of course she is gonna be more powerful than Kanan
+connor etchells Correction its Anakin. Ahsoka not only trained with Anakin she trained with herself being a master of ataru and shien during the clone wars.
Socialbob Gaming You didn't correct me at all, considering I never said anything that was false. Ahsoka was trained by Vader. Who is Anakin!
Also they cannot learn the ways of the Sith like Vader does, because that goes against the Rule of Two (totally canon, Bane was in Clone Wars).
just remember ahsoka in the clone wars movie and when she came back into rebels like this badass...fucking awesome character development.
