This is a brand new foundation at the drugstore that i was really excited to try out since its in the colorstay line by revlon. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the foundation was. The concealer....well, it was so-so. Thanks for watching, and I would love to do more of these in the future! if there are any new drugstore products that you want to see first impressions on.. don't hesitate to ask. I LOVE doing reviews and I try to be as thorough as possible!

Wow, I'm with you - I did not expect a lot from this compact but it looks great on you! This could be a fun product to try to speed up getting ready in the morning before work.

I love the idea of this compact! Having a foundation and concealer in one would be perfect for travel and it's great that the foundation actually had coverage!

Hey, one thing that I always miss in most foundation reviews is a good visible close up in day light.
for us as a viewer, every foundation looks the same from far away :)
I had a short clip close up.. But I will try to do more :)
I like that idea. in natural lighting , taking a step out maybe if possible :)

It really looks fantastic on you!! It is a really cool concept. And the application with the beauty blender looked a lot better than the side with the brush at first. Love that you always find makeup products to review that aren't as popular, it definitely gets dull and boring to see every beauty guru reviewing the same product over and over again. So kudos!!

About 20 years ago Revlon had a cream to powder foundation that I loved because it was full coverage but they discontinued it.Im glad they have something similar again! Cant wait to try it! I didnt need it back then but do now! :-)

I got mine on clearance so I loved it!!! It was $4! I liked it, I didn't know it was a foundation even I just picked it up because it was on clearance and the color matched.

I haven't tried it but I've swatched it out the put my MAC Cosmetics studio fix pressed powder and it seemed to seal it so if you want it to last just use extra powder and a settings spray to take away the powdery finish😊

I liked foundation. I did a first impression on it because I've always been a big fan on the original colorstay and even though I still find that the original is better this one is nice too. The concealer wasn't great but I really like how its in a nice compact in case you need to travel with it or something. :)
The coverage and finish of this foundation reminds me SO MUCH of my Ben Nye cream foundation for stage/film.
+Emilie Anselmo yes! i have the kryalon palette that is similar. its super thick and could be used for stage/film.. but it can be diluted with moisturizer.

+Whitni Masolo i would say either... its moisturizing enough not to emphasize dry patches... but its not OVERLY dewey either.
Haven't seen it in stores yet...ill have to check it out were you happy with the shade you picked out or would you go darker?
+oohlalapaola i liked the shade! i thought it worked out for me. Yeah, i haven't seen this ANYWHERE other than the fred meyers i bought it at. Revlon doesn't even have it on their instagram yet. I don't know when its going to really start coming out.

I've been in the market for a new foundation. I still have some sun and I'm not exactly white like I usually am by now. Definitely will need to check this out! :) Also been wanting to try a thicker formula.

Excellent review!! I definitely want to try it! As far as product amount...would you say that it's the equivalent of a standard bottle of liquid foundation? I always worry about that with cream compacts, that I am not getting as much product for my money.

+Erika Yearsley In the video it says it contains 0.38 oz of product. A standard bottle of liquid foundation tends to be around 1 oz, so you're definitely getting less actual product. From the video it looked like the compact had really good coverage, so you might be using less and the two could possibly even out.

You should try Too Faced born this way foundation. So good! It has a matte finish

+CosmeTicCraZy93 i don't think it would be bad for you honestly. it wasn't drying which would be good for the dry patches... and it wasn't OVERLY oily or dewey.. so it might be worth a try

I call my blending sponge a beauty blender too. It's like calling all tissues Kleenex. It's not a big deal.

+Lulu Love Revlon dont test on animals, they were actually one of the first brands to end animal testing
+Tamara Bowen No, Revlon does test on animals. There is a searchable database on the PETA website of brands that do and don't test on animals. If you're ever unsure if a product is ethical or not look for the cruelty-free bunny on the packaging.
Im just going off what they (meaning Revlon) tell you during training.
Revlon itself does not test on animals but they sell in China, which is one of a few countries that require independent testing to comply with their own requirements. What would be ideal is if they stopped selling in China...a topic that has been in the news in recent years but as far as I know they still sell there. The big cosmetic companies sell in all markets, including markets (countries) that may have their own testing requirements.

Love your videos as always! However, that is not a BeautyBlender. BeautyBlender is an actual trademarked brand name and the Real Techniques sponge is not that. I would hate for people thinking that this is a BeautyBlender when it's not. :( I personally don't find that the Real Techniques one, or any other dupe for that matter comes close to the actual BeautyBlender, but that's just me. I mean no hate by this! ♥

Tips:use a color correct under eyes its gona hide the dark area under the eyes
Yeah I mentioned in text at the bottom that I wished it had a warm tone or salmon tone to it for that reason

I have gone EVERYWHERE to find this. Ulta, Walmart, Rite Aid, and the one place that has it, didnt even have my damn color.
Found mine at the Dollar store for 4 bucks.:)
This foundation gave me a terrible allergic reaction :( it's been three days now and I have to use hydrocortisone, cold compresses, and benadryl to keep it at bay. It also dried out my cheeks and gave me patches of eczema, which has never happened on my face before. I've never had this happen with any makeup. Don't use this if you have sensitive skin in the slightest.

I don't like compact foundations for sanitary reasons. I just find that your germs and bacteria get redeposited in the pot! I find when I get halfway through my face breaks out!
