"So Im gonna build a full carbon C10" = Instant sub
Gonna be quite something! Thank you man!
Same lol. Just came across this channel, watched two videos and I'm hooked. Have to go back and watch the saga from thw beginning now
Still waiting on the carbon
Same
just shows how much you simp for metro dudes
Hello friend! I just discovered you! I'm doing a project very similar to yours, but on another level! Mine is RC 1/10 scale!
Congratulations! I will follow your project!
Man I’ve been watching since about 2 months into this build it’s crazy how far this has came and this build has inspired me to build my own truck
It's been a journey so far! About to get even better with the carbon fiber! Love to hear its inspired you in some ways, that's what it's all about. Thank you man👍
Deserves waaay more subs, this is going to be awesome!
Thank you man! It sure is🤙
Cant wait to see it all done, but i noticed something that you might want to address.. 5:18 to 5:36 on the time line, your engine hoist has bleed off, and the pump stick / engine are slowly moving. I would either get a new hoist, or re-seal that one. last thing you want is a seal to fully go when you have a built engine on it. Cheers!
Make sure you scale the truck before it all goes carbon. So you have a measurable weight savings.
As a fellow "well, that escalated quickly" enthusiast, your insanity hits home. Haha
Love the build, always happy to see a new update.
Haha it's just the way projects go😂 no point even setting a budget lol thank you man! More content to come!
You never cease to amaze me. I can't believe your doing a carbon fibre c10! Love it ❤
I can hardly believe it myself lol! Lots of work ahead but I'm gonna get it done no matter what👍👍 thank you man!
Brother i just cant wait to see the finished look of your cheavy truck, all the best mate 👍🏼.
i love that half of this truck is made out of an old rusty oil tank lol. thats the true hotrodding spirit
Hahaha gotta use what you got👍
Outstanding work, can’t wait to see the carbon fiber portions on this
Thank you very much! It's gonna be very exciting popping out the first part out of a mold!
Thanks for sharing. Awesome work 👌😎
Thank you very much!👍
Love the build good to watch while at school
I don’t know shit about transmissions or what’s best but those oil sprayers on each gear and flip mount shifter with 8 rotational pined locators is dope as hell
Keep at it kid. Amazing progress so far.
Thank you! Lots of fire in me to keep going! More content to come👍
this Projekt are so cool. In this few day i watcht the playlist of this Projekt. I´m so hyped at the moment who startet the C10
Ambitious project, good luck man! Remember, if you're successful, you'll have 2 C10s 😳
wow dude, you are not half assing it are you! Can't wait to see the Carbon Fibre moulding. Awesome
Giving it my beat shot! Thank you man, I will be making a video soon of the progress!
That transmission is crazy, this is gonna be a one of a kind
Ooooo exciting. Test drive the chassis with a milk box seat. Don’t know how your going to hold out that long. BURNOUT ! And DONUT!, lmao. Your a patient man. Good luck with the carbon fibre. I’m watching.
It's tempting😂 patience will pay off eventually! Lots more to come!
@@ag_trucks I got a C-30. Will you sell panels when you figure shit out?? Love your stuff so far.
Couldn’t click the notification fast enough! Favorite build on UA-cam
Thank you man! Glad you're enjoying the build as much as I am! 👍 more to come!
I am so invested at this point, I have to see this project through.
u got mad talent bruh it look like the cab it's chopped when u do a carbon can ir be dope to chop it a little lower ... i also like the short bed this thing is so dope looking
Hopefully more people come across this build! Love the ambition of this project
I hope so too! Appreciate it man👍
Keep up the good work and the updates 👍🏻
Thanks Yvon! Lots more updates to come!
That's going to be a lot of fun to drive. I was torn between auto and manual myself. I went auto but with an LT4/10L90E and I have the tap shift enabled thru the speartech harness and factory ZL1 tap shifter. So It can manual shift the auto and still have a 4.70 first gear and 3 overdrive gears.
Nothing wrong with auto! I bet that's a blast! I have another c10 with a 4l80 and love it👌
Such a dope project.. can’t wait for more content ❤
Thank you man! Lots to come🤙
great content young man. your channel is fun to watch. keep at it
Thank you very much! Got lots more content to come👍👍
E-brake handle through the floor. You need a hole for that if your gonna hit some drifts too. Loving the build
It's definitely getting a hydro E brake. I'm just one drilled hole away from installing one😂
Love your videos ❤ u inspire me 👍 keep up the good work!!!
Thank you very much! Love to hear it 👍👍 lots more inspiration to come!
You know… when I get a classic rust bucket truck… I might do this … not to copy but get inspired by ❤
Got the Magnum F in my HSV Grange
Hope the Carbon Fiber is going well for you, it's been a while.
Missed opportunity to put the beer holder next to the shifter, but there's always a version 2.0 I guess...
Happy to see a Canadian building wicked trucks. Keep it up I have binged the entire series in a few days!
It's never too late😎 lol thank you man! Glad you're enjoying the series!
Definitely needs a set of custom equal length headers
Wouldn't be a bad idea😎
Have you thought about cutting the drip rails off
I hope you don’t mind an opinion or two !
Mold your floor in three sections, make the tunnel removable
Do a core sandwich for the floors make a mold for some hat channel
Lay up the hat channel separate pieces
Then panel bond it in place for reinforcing the floor
The tunnel can be lighter
The floor could actually
Be layered on a sheet of metal as a mold and bonded together with inner rockers and hat channels it will be flatter and cleaner
Make the tunnel in two pieces front to back with a overlapping flange
For easier removal
The fire wall can be done the same way
Both the floor and fire wall with honey comb reinforcement
It will give you a solid base to build the cab on
Your cab mount channels can be bonded on the bottom as well
Then mold the left and right door jams back panel and so on bond it all together the roof goes on last
It will look factory and be very strong
That's is some awesome advice! I'll take all the opinions I can get cause I'm not an expert yet! Very much appreciated man.

IM FROM BRASIL, I LIKE YOU VIDEO
Mi canal favorito 👍
Saludos desde Salta 🇦🇷
my favorite channel
greetings from Salta🇦🇷
Thank you!! Glad you're enjoying the channel!👍
the funniest part about driving the truck will be that transmission, that's how bad@ss they are. like budda. im a old kat that learned to drive with a manual transmission vehicle. keep the videos coming, u have me hooked on that sick@ss truck already, can't wait to see your vision done. working on my vehicles is mental therapy for me, i become content fabricating.
I would do a 3 piece floor mainly for serviceability 1 piece is cool but u sacrifice the functionality
زۆر شازە برام سەرکەوتووبیت 🔥
Same thing i wanna do with my 70 Monte full carbon or kevlar body...like my man said insta sub lol
awesome work, does that have a corvettes wheelbase? never seen one so short before.
Its a custom 111" wheelbase. It's shorter than a normal shortbox C10. Front wheels have been moved forward to compensate for the shortened box
I've been building custom cars and I have my own custom shop for over 35 years my question is, how are you going to get your transmission out with a solid tranny mount you're going to have to take your motor out just to take the transmission out? Generally you want your transmission to be able to unbolt out to get access to the transmission without pulling the motor not sure if you know this or not! Like your channel
yeah i would 100% do a drop out trans crossmember lol
The crossmember will just be bolted and can slide out no problem👍 thank you very much man!
What is the wheels and tire specs?
Love those thic tires
I hated my TR6060 in my Shelby gt500. After getting it rebuilt twice I knew I should have bit the built and got tickperfomance to do the T56 conversion the first time. Sold the car just because I hated the TR6060 so much
That's unfortunate! Tick performance could have definitely got it right!
You're insane lol
I may be slightly 😂😂
After you finish all the carbon fiber coping can i buy the metal body from you?
I don't think I'll let go of them incase I ever need to make more molds.
@@ag_trucks that makes sense..... I got a 1984 swb im building but it comes no where near close to your build im following your posts in the c10 page on fb love the truck brother
Thanks bro! Glad you like it! Lots more content to come!
You should really get a welding helmet. Get content, keep up the great work.
Are you making a carbon fiber tub or are you making the skin carbon?
I'm making the entire body (cab included) with 100% carbon fiber. Not just skinned
Why's it seem like Tremec can make a better six speed, than 5 speed?
Come on, you know you wanna rebuild the frame out of aluminum. I can feel it.
Ahaha never know at this rate😂
Gotta say man, the quality of your videos have gone way up. really attention grabbing now, i really like the indepth stuff too. but you make this stuff look so easy
I appreciate that! I've been putting a lot of time to make them as enjoyable as possible! Thank you very much!
Gforce gsr, 6xd, etc etc etc all better
When are you going to get to the "carbon fiber?" Oh yeah, we've got about as much of a chance of seeing carbon fiber on this channel as that weird jake paul guy has in beating MIke tyson.
тебе самому приятно это пересказывать?
I’m slowly building my c20, had it stashed on my mom’s driveway. Would love to ask a lot of questions, are you on any forums where I can connect with you? Doing a pro street custom, tubs, roll cage, shortening the bed. I have my motor being built 496, got all the delete plates installed from LS fab. I would appreciate your feedback.. you inspired me to get this truck going after 10 years of owning after my accident…
