I've had partial hysterectomy 5 months ago and I'm still experiencing alot of pelvic floor and abdominal pain. These exercises really help but I have to pace myself. Can't do too much or I'm out of commission for 3-4 days. Walking is what I do most. Thank you for sharing. This really helps. ❤
@@stephaniewright1669 I had mine on 19th Oct, 2 nights in hospital, back home only on anti inflammatory med & panadol, no need stronger analgesia; how is your recovery? what about pelvic exercise?
@@felmik7577 yea all I have been taking is the 800 mg ibuprofen they wrote me, (I told them I didn’t want narcotics) and they didn’t tell me that I needed to do pelvic exercises, but thankfully I saw something about it online and have been doin them. I ended up back in the hospital bcuz I was overdoing it. Thankfully that’s all it was I started experiencing heavy bleeding and clotting and it was from overdoing it. Like I told my dr though not all of us have help to be able to take 2wks to recover much less 6. Wednesday will my be 4th week, I am feeling much better but still have to remind myself to slow down is all.
What did you overdo it with that led to the bleeding? I'm going to have mine at the end of the month and I'm really nervous. I also don't have someone to help do a lot of the stuff
If you’ve had a major surgery with a long vertical incision please know it takes a long time to heal and you may be experiencing significant pain. I was unable to do any form of exercise (apart from assisted walking for a few minutes at a time) for months. Many of these programs are aimed at women who have had much smaller “smile” or horizontal incisions. If you are in discomfort see your doctor and get a referral for physical therapy. There are specialists who help women struggling with incisional and wrap around pain.
Thank you for sharing. I had surgery 8 days ago and my research due to pain lead me to you. Thank you for sharing your expertise and time with us. Blessings to you💞💚💞💚

Thank you for this video. I am 14 days post complete vaginal hysterectomy. Though I have a lot of weakness, I would like to start exercise in order come back to my usual busy life.
Thank you so much, I'm 8wks out today and still experiencing cramping pain, even while rotating Tylenol and ibuprofen. I will try some of these exercises! ♡

Is it true that the broad ligaments that is being removed from uterus is also attached to the spine and rib cage and once removed, it can cause curvature problems in women?
It may be true, I had partial about 7 years ago and I feel my back is more curved and am bent on my mid section. Also I reduce about 3 cm in my total height.
Thank you for this! I’m back to lifting weights but very nervous to do heavy squats, deadlifts, or ab routines like I used to. How will I know when it’s safe or shall I just build back up on those slowly?
Thank you for this. I'm having a hysterectomy at the end of the year. I just had a uterine artery embolization 3 days ago. Any exercise recommendations?
How was the UFE? I was going to get this first but not sure if I should just do hysterectomy. I was told by UFE doctor I had to take fentynl for pain and other pain med so it freaked me out.
@@melissapadilla9628 I was super anxious about it but it turned out to be a good experience. I only had pain the first day or so after the procedure. It's been a week and I'm still just tired. Haven't noticed any changes in my belly yet but I am remaining hopeful. I am still having a hysterectomy. My doctor recommended that I have the UAE first to reduce major blood loss during my hysterectomy and to avoid having a blood transfusion. My fibroids are super large.
Just had a total abdominal hysterectomy 2 days ago. I'm really bloated and using the incentive spiromoter hurts my diaphragm. My mons pubis is also swollen, and it literally feels like my insides have been scooped out. The edges of my sutures hurts everytime I change positions or cough, sneeze, laugh, etc. I'm trying to lay off the pain meds because I think that's what's causing my constipation. I drink plenty of water, eat mostly soups and raw fruits, and I walk around the house periodically and do light housework. Any other helpful advice at this point?
Had a total hysterectomy exactly one week from today. I went for my first real walk last Saturday and already a few 90min walks since that. Is this too much too soon? I feel fine.
I'm praying everything will be okay. I heard I might be having on with my placenta Previa and early scheduled cesarean with my baby. I'm not sure how I'll do it if light movement is necessary for recovery. 😞🙏
