I am so tired of people feeling the need to be so negative about things that don’t matter (you in a towel or him peeing in the snow) but silent about things that really matter. Your channel is such a lovely place of peace for me and so many others. I love you guys, please please do not let the negativity get you down. A piece of our hearts are all so raw and hurting right now with the loss of Lee. I only met her for about 2. Minutes in Toronto while they were helping Eamon and Becs Chiwala booth and she was so sweet and kind. The world needs more people who are loving and compassionate, people like the two of you.

You know what? Once you get to be my age (55) you don’t care what others think. You realize you cannot please everyone. Nor should you try. Somethings are just not for everybody and that should be okay. Just be who you are and be authentic. If you don’t that will come through.
That happened at age40 for me in a very big way. It’s so liberating to not give a rats ass what other people think.

@@minkles1330 I’m heart-broken over Lee’s passing as well... I’ve struggled with mental health issues for years and can relate to her struggles so closely. I still cry when I think of her pain and what she was obviously going thru. Thank you Mr and Mrs Adventure for paying such a beautiful tribute to Lee and her beautiful soul. I miss her 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I just re-listened to Eamon and Becs podcast with Lee as their special guest. She talks openly about her depression and her “ReRoot”. She is so intelligent, aware of her emotions and empathetic... she would have made a wonderful therapist. Listen if you haven’t already.

Just my 2 cents: I strongly feel that you need to remain true to yourselves. I think if you start to edit out your true personalities, it will show up in your content but worse it could have long term effects where you start to question yourselves and your "why" for doing what you do. Here is a thought, if people are (easily) offended by your expressions then maybe they aren't your community. And if so, let them go. (They will find where they belong.) There is plenty of room for more likeminded people!

I lost a best friend who died of asthma at 35 in New Orleans. I was in SF Bay area and found myself crying not knowing why at the exact moment of her death. Loved the video! It made me sad to see how you struggled to keep your viewers happy. With the recent passing of Lee, it made me realize that if you focus so hard on the negative, you miss all the positive. I think it’s a lesson for all of us to work on taking the good and discarding the bad. If you physically count the positive comments they will FAR outweigh any negative. You will never please everyone, so just be your authentic selves. You will attract like minded-viewers and people who love you for you! No matter what you do, you will get dislikes and negative comments. Some people are just unhappy and need to make others feel unhappy. Don’t give them your energy. Put out content you love, show the good and the bad. We will cheer for you, will empathize with you and we will feel blessed to be along for the journey.

I remember your yurt episode & I loved it. Surprised to learn someone had an objection. If anything, I put your content on top as being a more “spiritual” adventure with your soft voice, taking in a breath, and chosen topics. Just keep up the good work & don’t be sidetracked by one grumpy person.

You have to make progress (gain more subs) but have to walk that thin line of existing subs, I am a fan no matter what and always will be! But, I did see that pic of you in the bathtub and I was a little thrown off by it. But, I did watch that video after a while. I feel what viewers comment is like constructive criticism, but I couldn't personally take it or deal with it! But, thank you for addressing this - and I love all of your videos and you guys are awesome!

I don’t typically comment but in the hopes of a potentially helpful perspective ... You guys are a very zen couple and very sweet, that’s your thing. I watch a few of the other “Van lifer” couples/youtubers and I find myself looking forward to a next video when I want to know what happened next or what the finished product will look like (for example Eamon and Bec, I find their cabin projects entertaining simply because I like to see the before and after and how much better the cabin is looking). So once you get this property 🤞🏽😉 maybe y’all will have the opportunity of taking us through these beginning-to-end-with-defined-end-goals journey. I can tell you that one of the videos I really liked was when you spoke about your ED journey and also the one about Lee because in it, we got to know more of you as well. I think that the flaws, the bad days, the “yellow snow” humor is what makes UA-camrs “real,” relatable and provides the viewers opportunities for connecting with you. I absolutely appreciate the uplifting and positive vibes you guys are so committed to transmitting, but those are goals. It’s an ideal. Most of us are working toward that uplifted space but it’s not the everyday reality. On the regular, viewers want to connect. Once folks connect with you, then they’ll be along for the zen journey .... I understand this implies that you give more of your authentic selves. However, don’t, if you’re not ready or it’s much more valuable to keep it to yourselves. You, your wellness, marriage, etc. are more important than views, algorithms, even a UA-cam career. You can just continue to share what YOU want and we’ll support and it is what it is. And also, what do I know?! I’m not a UA-camr, my opinions and supposedly helpful perspective may not be worth 2 cents! 😶 The comment section is a whole other beast! 🙂💚🧡

I don’t know if you remember but I was the guy who was in back of the camera when you recorded that video with Max & Lee in Spirit in Palos Verdes. I think of that special day I spent the whole day with you guys. Lee came up to me to say hello and I reached out to shake her hand and she went straight for a tight hug. She was barefoot and I accidentally stepped on her. I was so sorry and she was so kind. I will remember that moment forever.

Recliner Babe and her Handsome Prince here. Just gotta weigh in on this one! First....my condolences to you both on losing a dear friend. The news of her leaving this world, for wherever her next adventure leads her is sad enough....but taking her own life puts another spin on it.
There have been multiple suicides in my circle of friends and family....no way for the survivors to help....and that's what you are left with. Could you have done something? Did you miss something? Unanswered questions forever. It takes time for you to come to grips with her choice...but you will one day....then you can get on with just missing her and embracing her memory.
As for the apology for Drew leaving his "mark" in the snow....I have had a Father, Husband, Son, Grandsons and Great Grandsons....none of whom would have passed up a chance like that!

For what it’s worth regarding the views on that video: it might be as simple as a combination of spring breaks around the country and better weather means people are spending more time outside as many deal with cabin fever right now.
Either way, my thoughts are probably the same as others: do the content you love and are passionate about and the right audience will follow you and give you energy!
