Windows 10 doesn't recognize the drives installed, so you have to start the Windows installation to configure the disks for Windows.

Hv you tried to configure both nvme drive to raid 1 & installed Windows 10 Pro ?

Thunderbolt 2 is much faster. Use that instead.

Unless that workstation has a thunderbolt 2 port, I'm affraid that it's not going to be possible. However It sounds like a very good idea. What would you suggest?

@@rojarrolla SAS 3 achieve 12GBps already. Read and Write at True 2gbps. Bolt 2 20GBps. Make sure your ssd/hdd are SATA 3. Bolt 3 40GBps. Bolt 4 40GBps dual 4K display PCie32. SSA3 surpass 4K video editing and networking for personal and small side studio.
