Some of the best how-to videos for an f-body out there. Showing how it's done rather than saying how it's done makes all the difference. Having a lift has its advantages for sure.
just brought an 9bolt borg warner 3.27. swapped out my 700r4 for an turbo 400th. and the 3.27 for 3.70 and will be using this mod as well. Thanks for the video.
Great video, your rear suspension should be under load not hanging when you check pinion angle. And the pinion should be nose down 2 degrees not up. FYI
I have one on my 95Z28.Love UMI stuff! I have a poly trans mount and I cant tell any difference. GM put crappy rearends in these cars. Should have came with 12bolt rear ends.
Great video man! When and if you do find the hole, it's best to be firm. Sometimes they are pretty stubborn! Haha All jokes asidw, I'm curious as to what that other support bar u have under there that looks decently new. It goes from one side of the car to the other just beneath the drive shaft. What is it and what does it do?
I tried to put a bmr set-up just like that in my lowered 02 Z28, hit the tunnel in the back really bad. I had to put the stock crossmember and torque arm back on. I might try it again with a set of stock springs someday. Looks cool leaning against the wall in the garage for now.
Love the dress shirt. Hey, when you are adjusting the angle do the rear wheels need to be on the ground ( cars weight on them) Or is up in the air with no weight on the rear end ok? Cheers.
I have a question, my car is lowered and I’m going to add lca relocation brackets but I want to add this torq arm, would a shop know about adjusting the pinion angle? Is that like a thing all shops know to do ? I’m worried they would install it as is without making the pinion adjustment
Hell yeah klowny, this video has come in very handy I'm getting ready to do this complete mod to mine you rock dude love your videos. and please continue to make sexual comments it makes it that much more fun LOL
its time to take a deep breath and stop overthinking things.im not a mechanic and Ive done this mod, swapped a 9 bolt rear, added an adjustable pan hard bar, lowered the front end, added an iroc wonderbar, did exhaust, swapped my intake, changed spoilers, swapped interior (and a ton more that i cant remember right now,im 55 too).get yourself a magnetic ashtray for bolts or use a jar/box etc.take LOTS OF pictures,if something isn't going right walk away and go back in a few minutes.YOU CAN DO IT....

Lol thanks! That is a tunnel brace, it reinforces the tunnel area.

Can I get a link for this torque arm set up?
Which would you rather, Detroit speed quad link or torque arm? I like 80% road course, 20% off the line.
Thank you for the video.

A regular shop, prob not
Look for a shop that works on hot rods, track cars, and exotics. And yes you have the right idea that some shops wont do it properly.
Thanks pretty helpful
