Please do so it sounds amazing. I grew up with those games and I just found my ps2 and have all three games. Sadly the ps2 is busted😢. I’m pretty sure there’s still a following we just have to put the word out there. It would be awesome to have the first 3 remastered and deceit of thieves follow behind.

The only thing I'm not 100% sold on is Bentley's mechanical leg brace. While this isn't a dealbreaker, a lot of Bentley's arc in Sly 3 seemed to involve overcoming an inferiority complex at least semi-triggered by being wheelchair bound. By the end of Sly 3, Bentley seems to have achieved complete contentment despite still having the disability. I feel that Bentley's "fixing" of his legs in this story may trivialise his character's journey and development from the previous game.

Brilliantly put together! Luca Salis' music was cherry on top! I love the idea of someone else basically taking over Carmelita's spot or even the new boss at Interpol, that'd be a surperb way of further exploring Sly and Carmelita's complicated relationship. We did have Neyla in Sly 2, but I think further investigation on Carmelita would be a nice twist. What point has she reached in her career? Is she still willing to fight and defend Sly for fighting on the opposite side of the law? Part of this is something I've always envisioned for the future of the series, a perfect way of representing how the story can grow and evolve with its audience. Personally, a story like this could still happen post Sly Cooper Thieves In Time, well I guess I simply aknowledge that game? Also, can't help but wonder if Carmelita is being the damsel in distress? I'd imagine her defending and fighting for herself sooner rather than later. As for McSweeney turning bad, well we had that with Dr.M in 3 already especially with the Cooper vault. I mean after reading the comics, I just can't imagine McSweeney just flipping a switch like that. Bentley walking again I'd imagine being Penelope's desperate attempt at being forgiven. All in all, the video shows how much hard work has been put into this, and all I want to say is good luck! I just don't know how far this project will go considering the fact it's intellectual property owned by Sony. I'm no lawyer, so regardless of profit or no profit, it's a complicated grey area, all I'd like to assume is this would need consent from Sony since it's their property. Cheers!

VTNVIVI You’re a class act, Vivi. Sly fans should always stick by each other’s side and work together. If we want the series to return and continue to become what it should, fan cooperation and support is the key.
Nice of you to drop in, and I’m Surprised you actually like this, but I will support you mr VIVI, perhaps maybe it can gained Sony’s attention, after all, Sanzuru did it before, maybe this might work if getting a proper budget and better writing, And Also letting it be Sly 5, but when it comes out, no matter what the case will be, this, will be awesome.
I don't know why, but every time I see McSweeney in this art style I think of Thanos.
Cause both thanos and mcsweeny are both purple.
Small advise that might help your story:
The issue with taking McSweenie as a villain is that, while he could also have had a fallout with slys father, it also falls into the same trap like the originall Sly 4. Make it easier, take him out. Stream-line the story by making your detective Coulsen the Main-Anatgonist. This would make more sense if you want to have the police this time as Slys opponents and straightens your narrative.
Make him an internal investigator who figured out what Carmelita did in the end of Sly 3 (creating a new Identity for Sly as "Constable Cooper" and pretty much cover him) and thus arrest her because this makes it look like that she in fact helped the cooper-gang during their adventures in the original trilogy. Coulsen argumentation would make a lot of sense in that regard.
To make Slys Journey more interesting and, more importantly, different he shouldn't just go against villainous thiefs again. The cooper-gang would come together again not to steal something, but somebody. Sly knows he could never prove Carmelitas innocense without going to jail himself which is why he plans to break into the special high-security prison in which she is held and rescue her that way. (It would make sense to put her in a high-security prison if it seems highly likely that she is part of the cooper-gang herself)
In order to do this he'd need special equipment which he needs to steal from all corners of the world, thus leading to the base-gameplay-structure. Then you could proceed with your base-idea that you want to go with about Sly beeing on the run 24/7 from the police.
Also important: It would be crucial to NOT make Coulsen an actuall villain in this set-up. He could still be a hard-boiled cop with maybe questionable tactics, but he'd still be right in the end. Cooper is a criminal on the run, and Carmelita helped him. We'd still be on Slys side from a narrative perspective, but he would actually be in the wrong which, again would lead into your base-idea about Sly finally confronting the consequences of his criminal live.
While true he shouldn’t be a villain you can make him an extremist, such as treating even the pettiest of crimes with the same force he would’ve treated someone like Mugshot or even Clockwork with extreme force, possibly even having killed some criminals in the past who only have done petty theft and why he’s is brought in when nobody else could stop the cooper gang.
I feel like this is was what we should have gotten with Sly 4: Thieves in Time. But instead was just a terrible disconnected sequel from a bunch of people not really understanding the series for what it was.

I liked Bentley's wheelchair more though, he handled like crap when he walked around, he was a total beast with the wheelchair.
Also, pretty sure leg braces wouldn't enable him to walk, since the reason he's paraplegic is because his back was broken, not his legs, you can tell by the cracked shell; because a turtle's spine is fused to their shell, so if it's damaged badly enough; their whole nervous system is damaged. You can feel your legs if they're broken, you can't feel them if your spinal cord has been severed, he definitely said "I can't feel my legs" at the end of Sly 2.
True and the wheelchair actually makes him stronger since it’s a giant tool box he can take with him virtually everywhere.
All the leg braces would need to do is be connected to his spine ABOVE where the damage is.

This is the BEST shit I've ever seen in my LIFE. Those animations are top notch! And the story with McSweeney really opens the door for some juicy ass backstory with him and Sly's dad. Maybe he's not such a good guy after all? I think it's reasonable to suggest that. I'm SOLD!
The animations aren't anywhere near top notch. They're barely animated. They're more limited than even the worst Hanna Barbara cartoons lol.
The animations feel like a rough draft of sly raccoon, it’s certainly not the worst I’ve seen, but it’d definitely need a lot more polish to be considered top notch.
Alright, you certainly have my attention with this. A fully made fan game that PROPERLY follows up on the events of the third game, it certainly has my interest.

@@GroovyWill well yes, but they also gave reasons for them to do so. Unlike theives in time, which just had him do it for no reason. As for mcsweney, I feel it works from a narrative perspective, as someone who has worked his whole life to get a fortune would want a share of it instead of being the only one of the gang to be thrown in prison
@@GroovyWill yeah, I've been optimistic about this, mostly because I don't want a fan made project meant to be a continuation of a series to ruin the happiness of the third game.
Though, I wouldn't be too harsh about the aspects of this fan game, mostly because it hasn't been finalized. Who knows, it could be great, but for now it's only potential that relates to the series. I do agree with the sentiment thought.
If it were me, I'd rather it be a new gang, based on Penelope (or perhaps a new group with a similar playstyle and multiple writers checking on the story to keep the characters characters)
@@GroovyWill considering what they have to work with from the third game, it requires alot of delicact work overs for the characters and ending (especially related to the forward traveling time machine and Penelope and his work on the new cooper vault)
@@GroovyWill well, even if the project falls flat, it's still just a fan project. It's a project that people are hopeful to make, because they want the series they loved to have a sequel worth their time.
It doesn't have to be famous, it just has to give a compelling story that gives the characters a ending that allows them to be happy. This is in repence to sly theives in time, a way to try and have the series they love continue (like AM2R and sonic mania)
It's too early to call this a bad idea, because we've only heard a basic outline of the game. Stay positive, and join the conversation on the discord and the spread of this game, so it CAN be the series finale we all wanted to have. Don't be skeptical yet, just pick up your flag and let it fly.
I would like to give these gentlemen a round of applause for adapting a story that grasps the epic storytelling and complex character dynamics of this beloved Series. Props to all of you. In my eyes, this is Marvel Avengers level work and respectability.

Yeah, I'm going to take caution with this one. I'm happy that the fans are doing more with this franchise than Sony is at this point, but this might be going a little bit overboard in my opinion. Where Thieves in Time didn't take itself seriously whatsoever, this one might go in the complete opposite side of the spectrum. It would be 100% serious, no lighthearted dialogue, and as a result it would come across boring and not as charming as the originals. I feel like it could really miss the point of what Sly Cooper is suppose to be. I don't want to see a game where he mopes around and his motivations are only fueled by anger/revenge. I still want him to be charming, witty, likable and have the game feel like a grand adventure.The previous games knew how to balance the tone perfectly! I know it's WAY too early to be judging this project and by all means, I hope it actually gets developed, but please please please please PLEASE don't make the same mistakes as Sanzaru. Give the characters their proper respect, don't misinterpret their motivations, make Carmelita do more than be the damsel in distress, and remember what Sly is suppose to be at the core. A game about why it's FUN to be a fictional thief.

Sly's face seeing Bentley walk for the first time is a great detail.
I love the ideas. I'm so glad the fandom is creating awesome stuff like this. I'm afraid however that the story is going to be too dark or deep. The Sly trilogy is meant for a younger audience and I know that we are all older now but changing the tone so drastically might make it seem like a completely different series. I hope you keep us updated I would love to see more.
I haven't played the trilogy in many years. And all though I didn't hate Thieves in Time, this sounds a lot more grounded. And a deconstruction of the Sly as a character.
I don't believe that carmelita would get kidnapped so easily by one strong goon especially when she had captured murry who is stronger beat mugshot on her own and defeated a giant monster.
Exactly, and even then, in the unlikely event she is captured by McSweeney, who is less strong than Murray or Muggshot; there's no way she's able to be restrained by a piece of rope, not when the times she was kidnapped in the past required large metal bindings, gas chambers, electric fields, armed guards, etc.

Normally I'm not all that into fan-fiction type stuff but I must say that this premise actually sounds solid. It sounds like something the original creators would've went for the 4th game, especially with Interpol turning attention to Carmelita and her unsolved cases when it came to Sly and how the interrogation light would be turned onto her. It's a great premise and it's certainly a lot more plausible than what happened in Thieves in Time. All I can say is god speed, they should totally pick this up and give you guys a chance because it's very clear you all did a lot of study on the characters and what makes them tick.
Holy shit I pray this becomes a reality. Sly Cooper deserves so much more recognition and love than ever before! Also cool to see appearances by other gamers I've watched over time in this video. I can feel the passion for Sly and I'm right there with you guys.

You know... I'm interested! I would love to see this come alive. I have not played Sly 3 as a kid (except for the demo) but it was when I was in high school (after my PC had died out and was awaiting a new PC) that I played through the first three Sly Cooper games. They're really amazing and I loved them.
This is amazing, and I'm offended I was never told about it. I can't wait to see where this all goes!
This looks pretty awesome but I have to say the decision to take Bentley's wheelchair away is disappointing. I'm a disabled person and I have always loved Sly, and seeing a character who needed a mobility aid like me who was still just as strong and mobile as the rest of the characters was amazing. I really hope that you guys can reconsider that choice, there are a lot of disabled people who really look up to Bentley as amazing representation, that shouldnt be disregarded.
He is still disabled. The leg brace simply aids his disability in the story, but without it he cannot walk. It will still be represented fully and tastefully. We feel it's necessary for Bentley's character development.
@@wiseone8561 why though? Bentley in the wheelchair showed that Bentley could work around his disability and still work in the field. Leg braces take away frim that.
Yeah I also agree that I think that is maybe the wrong direction to go in. I thought man Bentley is amazing and it was great to see some representation like that. He still goes in the field and is still just as if not more capable then the others in his group. I don’t really see why he needs robo legs. Sure he’s not miraculously healed with them, but it just seems like now it’s a lot harder to connect with for people.
The Red Eft I think it’s just logical that Bentley would do something to aid in his recovery. We love representation in stories, but it’s another interesting direction to have Bentley back on his feet and see how life changes for him again even though he’s still disabled. Wheelchair and braces are quite similar in how they represent a disabled character.
DrNefarious546 Hmm well I suppose that’s fair too. Prosthetics and braces are representation too. I guess it depends on the way it’s presented then. It just felt like a thing I’d never seen before in a video game to have playable major character to be in a wheelchair. I can understand potential disappointment for some. For me it would be an execution thing to see how well it works. So if this project gets more developed I’d have to wait and see then. At the moment though I’m not sure.

Finnaly. I've been waiting for someone to continue this story. Even though it's fan-made it sounds like they have a great understanding of the character, and can make a great continuation of the story.

Anyway there are some interesting things here, some ideas I liked, some I didn't, if you were to take it further it would be cool if you were able to talk with Sucker Punch or Sanzaru, whoever currently owns the rights, I mean we are definitely long overdue for another Sly game, and it would be cool to see how they render that unique kinetic aesthetic in a modern graphics engine.
I do feel like using McSweeney that way kind of goes a little bit too much towards similar turf with Doctor M.
If he were to kidnap Carmelita (and let's be honest, there's no way he's keeping her restrained with a piece of rope, she'd need way stronger and more elaborate restraints, at least judging by the times she was kidnapped in the past, she would rip through those ropes like tissue paper).
If he were to kidnap her; I would prefer it to be because he sees her as a distraction to Sly embracing his true destiny as a master thief, he really loves Sly and his father, judging by the lines he had in the comics, it's out of character for him to be trying to backstab Sly, but giving him an ultimatum between his life with Carmelita on the other side of the law and living up to his father's legacy, harnessing the cooper gang to it's full potential and turning them into a large criminal empire with the resources available to them seems more believable for him.
He wouldn't squander the riches of the Cooper vault for himself; he would encourage Sly to add more to it. Represents the opposite of Doctor M, he saw the Cooper gang as greedy and solipsistic and hung up on their overinflated egos surrounding their legacy, meanwhile McSweeney believes they're doing something great, he recognizes the same things Dr M did but he sees it as a positive.
I mean he sees himself as something akin to an uncle or maybe latent mentor to Sly, he wants the best for him but his definition of what's best for him isn't likely what Sly believes is best for him, that can be where their conflict arises, if Sly refuses to join him and is intent on resuming his current life with Carmelita, if McSweeney has been stuck in prison and isolated from the rest of the world, both of his former friends in the original Cooper gang have passed on, his only remaining personal connection is his relationship with Sly.
So taking that away from him would make him feel considerably transgressed and violated, but also aggrieved, aggravated and wronged, he values the emotional connection and sense of camaraderie more than any financial riches. And it's possible that he will try to remove Sly's friends from the picture too, because they definitely won't join McSweeney and since they've left the gang to pursue other interests; he probably sees them as unfit of calling themselves members of the cooper gang, let alone friends of Sly.
Also, if we're going off of 3, pretty sure Carmelita is under the assumption that Sly has lost his memory and thinks she's convinced him that he's a police Constable, so that would be kind of hilarious and/or awesome for Sly to be pretending to be a cop, most likely further drawing the suspicions of this Detective Coulson guy.
That way you have two characters from two different perspectives trying to break apart the life that Sly and Carmelita have made for each other, both those other characters representing a stronger conviction in the beliefs and principles of their respective fields (law enforcement and thievery)
Also, point of fact for artist reference; Albinism leads to a lack of pigment in the eyes so his irises would be closer to a pink or red hue if you're going for anamorphic human-like eyes, but in racoon eyes it sort of leads to a pale blue colour, with the parts of their skin uncovered by fur (their mouth, paws, etc.) that usually appear black appearing light pink.
And I said a few other times about Bentley's leg braces not making much sense, since it's a spinal injury, but I also mean; please don't take the wheelchair away from one of the few well-written, realistically-characterized wheelchair-using characters in all of fiction.
If we can't have a game featuring Sly and his gang; what I would really love is a game about Connor Cooper's gang (Sly's dad, McSweeney and Doctor M), because there are interesting and mostly unexplored dynamics there, the only issue with that being that Rick May, voice actor for Doctor M, has passed away, and he will be greatly missed.
The issue with the passing of a voice actor can be fixed with a impersonator but that’s tragic I wonder if the Swedish Doctor M’s voice actor is doing fine? My biggest problem with the old gang story is two things, first we know what’s going to happen eventually so there’s no real suspense in the story and secondly we’ve never seen how sly’s dad looks so everyone their own idea of him and giving a definitive appearance could quite literally shatter the fan base.
I have noticed you in some other comments about the Bentley spinal injury and how it’s connected to his shell being cracked, I couldn’t see the crack in one of the sly 3 cutscene when he’s thrown out of his chair, is it perhaps in a comic or in the concept art?

Even though they treat that the last game didn't happen with this pitch, I don't think that it's impossible for it to be picked up. All Sony would have to do it make a few tweaks to it, most likely in the beginning, and BOOM, new Sly Cooper game. It may be a bit harder, but hey, a guy can dream. You guys keep doing what you're doing, it'll happen guys, don't worry.

There are a lot of things I enjoy about this pitch however there are just a lot of things that make it an overall bad fan fiction. Giving the inconsistencies and contradictions to the original message and ideals from the Sucker Punch Trilogy.
1. The premise of the plot.
For as much as I enjoy the design of the new police officer, this version of a Sly 3 Sequel honestly makes very little sense in the grand scheme of things. For it to even work out a lot of assumptions have to be made which were never implied or even thought off in the original trilogy. Such as Mcsweeney, to be honest I think its slightly disrespectful to the original vision to have this man suddenly betray the Coopers. Whilst he was under developed, never was their one hint of deception in his scenes. In fact his backstory hints the opposite of him having a sense of morals for turning himself in when the Previous Cooper Gang disbanded, following this up by giving Sly the information about the Cooper vault upon the discovery a Cooper was still out there. It feels random and wrong to suddenly make him a villain to the Coopers out of greed especially when the rift formed through the gang was mainly between Conor and Dr.M, the way he spoke indicated he was still fond of Conor so his turn on Sly just feels like a cop-out.
2. Bentley
For one the reason why Bentley was even paralyzed to begin with was due to the injury to his spine. So those leg braces won't help in that manner. However more importantly by discarding the wheelchair you are misunderstanding and even ignoring the implications of his Arc in Sly 3. When Bentley is rescued from the hospital, he initially was insecure and reluctant to go with the cooper gang. Condoning himself as a burden to the group, the mental infliction as well as the physical toll was still present here and his vulnerability shown through. Throughout Sly 3 Bentley accepts the incident and actually grows from this, becoming more confident and actually stronger and more capable through the use of his wheelchair, he no longer felt like a burden and the injury turned into a blessing as in both gameplay and plot he grew to become far more capable in the field work. To throw away this but getting rid of his wheelchair just shows that you had no understanding to that whole arc within Sly 3, he doesn't need his legs to be a force to be reckoned with as his disability served as a mental and physical challenge to overcome the pay off being extremely satisfying when it hit.
3. Murray.
This will be swift, the real Murray would never let the van be in such a state. He loves that damn thing, risked his life on several occasions just to save it. So to see it be in such a state, and to see Murray abandon it so easily, that isn't what Murray would do. On top of this in the epilogue of Sly 3 Bentley even states he still uses the Van for his racing career, so that little plot hole to me just indicates not a lot of care has been taken when transitioning to a potential sequel, this just feels like an attempt to spite Thieves in Times story personally.
4. Real world consequence.
Ok yes Sly and Carmelita having a happy ending at the end of 3, wouldn't be realistic if it pertained to the real world. Sly Cooper has never been founded in much realism. Its the same series that has ghosts and voodoo and all kind of wacky shit, heck the guards are blind to anything 2 feet in front of them. So to add such realism just alienates the core of the series, Sly Copper has had real moments and dark tension within the plot that tackles real issues. They never pertained to the laws however so to add a sense of realism to that aspect of the series just doesn't work for me it is just out of place in all honesty.
5. Thieves in Time
So we can all agree Thieves in Times story was not the best, especially with that cliffhanger ending. I will admit that wholeheartedly, that doesn't change the fact that Sly 4s plot has more semblance and continuity to the original trilogy than this does. For the simple reason that Bentley was making a time machine, that and the whole other inconsistencies I labeled above is why this could never work without major overhaul. It ignores and betrays a lot of the core elements of the Sly Coopers story arc and because of this, for as much potential as Deceit of Thieves has. It just comes across as bad fan fiction at the end of the day.

And the lack of new characters introduced in Sly 3 just doesn't make any sense to me. Where is Penelope? What happened between all of the changes, and how the whole "law" thing turned out? It's abit messy and rushed.
I would see it more as a spinoff/alternative version of Sly 3, which coincidentally is almost perfect for all of the plots mentioned.

First: There are some issues and flaws that need to be addressed, nothing that I mind tho.
Second: I cannot express how excited I am to see the final product in the future. One of my first games was Sly 2 and soon after, I bought the collection and then Sly 4. I loved each and every one of them (yes, even Sly 4). We haven't had a new Sly game in 7 YEARS and chances are, we won't be getting another one. So I'm super happy that there is a group of people doing something as awesome as this.
Take as much time as you need, I cannot wait to see what you have in store.
When sly 4 came out we hadn’t had a sly game for 8-9 years since I think sly 3 came out in 2004 or 2005, so there’s still a chance to for it to happen.
For the love of God please try pitching this the world needs a Sly sequel we have wanted for almost 9 years now and I love the story’s premise.
So I have one question. Did you fix Penelope? Her heel turn was the most uncharacteristic and anger inducing moments from thieves in time, especially since her relationship with Bentley felt so genuine.

Here's an idea for when you get to the production phase: make a power up related to light time travel like moving time back a few seconds or something like that, just so the time machine line at the end of sly 3 doesn't feel like throwaway and to take away the negative connotation (Sly TiT) from that line.

I love this idea!!! My only concern would be I wouldn’t want Carmelita absent the entire game because she was kidnapped. She’s a strong lady, I feel like she would find a way to escape... it’s not like her to wait around to be saved. Maybe you could even play an escape segment as her? Idk but that’s my suggestion !

Oh I love this! I want to play this. I definitely think my two biggest problems with thieves in time were that it never had any serious moments that the trilogy were known for and it did not truly understand the characters and what made them great. I’d love to read this fan fiction as you put it yourself. Though I do think maybe it’s not the best idea to give Bentley robo legs/braces. I think it undersells the value and importance of seeing a person with a disability out there working with his friends being just as valuable and useful if not more so then them. Also one small gripe being Carmelita being kidnapped again feels a bit redundant, but it certainly makes the stakes high and a real good reason for Sly to get the gang back together. The idea of Carmelita having this new inspector really digging into her and trying to bust her and Sly is good. I would imagine some real conflict as it comes head to head on how they can possibly stay together without giving up something like her being an inspector. I would just hope that she isn’t just kidnapped for the whole game and that she still gets to play a big part. Do you imagine that other members of the Cooper gang from Sly 3 would make any appearance?

I think this is a good idea. I'm more curious on why Mcsweeney is one of the antagonists? Its almost as of Connor isnt that best of a friend. But then again, we never seen much of Sly's parents. Are we gonna get that as a bit of the plot?

The only fear I have is that Carmelita is just going to be a damsel in distress for the entire game when that'd really downplay her abilities, i feel. It'd be cool to have the ability to "play" as her again and just see her hold her own against villains like how Thieves in Time did for a few spots.

If this does come to pass and does succeed in becoming a true game I would like to add, keep the clue bottles in the overworld they’re an excellent method to incentivizing exploration and learning your environment, of course don’t do what Sanzaru did at a few places and make them locked behind some progression even if only by 1 mission, as soon as you give control of the character to the player in the overworld they should be able to find all 30 of them.
Nah, I'd say they'd be better off without the clues, the treasures from Band Of Thieves on the other hand I'd say they could definitely use since they’re an excellent method to incentivise exploration and learning your environment which I can't say for the clues.
Tabreez Siddique treasures was introduced in a band of thieves and bottles do incentives exploration because they allow you to be a thief and crack open a safe to get a power up for your hard work, treasures just gives you money.

to try and navigate every single inch to find every clue bottle, it’s like trying to find 30 specific needles in a particularly large haystack and the bigger issue is that there’s no way to tell where you’ve been. Some of these areas are distinct enough to tell, but there are so many bottles in nondescript areas and if you get turned around it’s really easy to forget where you’ve looked and where you haven’t and so end up just wandering around. Money is the universal unit in this game to buy more
Gameplay and the methods to do so are actually rewarding, but shifting a mechanic that worked in a linear game into an open space just doesn’t work without severe reworking. At least let us
buy a map with the clue bottle locations for each specific episode, that way it’s a workable compromise. Besides, considering most of the theoretically best items and abilities are bought from the safe-house, the power-ups the vaults rewards you with aren’t even that good.
Tabreez Siddique first of all the vaults in this game you wouldn’t know if they were good or not since it doesn’t exist yet, second thieves in time is to big but the sizes of the hubs in the second game are picture perfect and third it’s not our fault you have zero direction sense and pattern recognition.
@@AtelierGod It definitely is your fault if you thought shifting a mechanic that worked so well in the linear stages of the 1st game into the open hubs of the 2nd game was a good idea unless you had added a map system of some kind to make it easier to track the clues down. At least when it comes to the treasures, you get shit tons of coins for each one which is useful to get the power-ups that are actually useful, in addition to the fact that it feels like a legit challenge to figure out which route to take back to the hideout without taking damage and in the quickest time and plus, because you only get shit ton of coins from them, it's also optional meaning it has no impact on the full completion if you aren't happy to collect them.

I love everything about this, clearly a lot of thought went into everything! As someone who played these games religiously as a kid, its wonderful to see people who have passion for it and want to make more. The story is perfect, the threat of the law, and carm being questioned is all exciting and new. I really hope sucker punch or something sees this and helps it be a real game

Dude, if this was to actually happen, if this was THE actual game, let's say 'something' happen like the Devil May Cry series where there was a shity dante at one point and it was just forgotten because of how bad it was and I personally feel like the same happened to the Sly Cooper series, but nevermind that, I say again if 'something' like that was to happen to the sly cooper series... I wouldn't be mad, hell id be happy, grateful even, that it happened.
I think this is actually a great idea, a very good way to continue the game in a way that fits, that makes sense, that fans would love and to make the series go forward, but like they said, "it's just a treatment", but let's be honest this is way better than what sanzaru gave us.
I do think there’s still a way to keep thieves in time canon and that is to make it a cartoon in the game based on sly and some writer’s interpretation of what they did next.

Tabreez Siddique there’s several things one is that it does exist and it should be given it’s due credit, it might not be the best or even good but if they do make it like I said a cartoon based on hearsay from characters over the games written by a writer it would explain why both the game has a cartoon aesthetic and the characters misinterpretation also it doesn’t alienate those who likes the game.

Hey guys, I am a player from the 90s, I had my first playstation in this case playstatio 1 with 7 or 8 years old, and my playstation 2 with 9/10 years old and my first game was the Sly Cooper 2 Band of Thieves , and I have a great affection / love for this series and it is so sad that they do not appreciate this type of game that was very successful. I never had PS4, I only have until PS3 and I have all the Sly games, Sly Trilogy and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time, but I promised that even if there is a Sly game for PS4 I buy the game anyway to have all the games of my favorite series! Now I want to express my opinion on this initiative, I think it is very good and I hope that they do and do an excellent job and that they demonstrate to the creators of the game (Sanzaru Games + Sucker Punch + Sony) what they lose in not valuing this famous series anymore that we grew up playing with! Hugs and a good continuation.
The writers seem a little young to be developers and have a company but that might be because I'm old and picture most professional dev teams as being closer to my age instead of teenagers like they appear to be. Either way, I've been following the exploits of this franchise since I was a gamer on the PS2 and I believe this is a solid direction it could be taken in. I would suggest to look at cartoons like Batman the animated series from the 90s or Teen Titans as a great example of taking the subject matter more seriously while also remaining consistent with the kid friendlier content of the games. A slightly grittier tone is appropriate for this kind of series, but keeping the light moments is important too. By the looks of it, I think you guys are already doing that and have a strong handle on how to tell a story that explores the inner workings of these characters even more than in the narrative of the first three.

This really warms my hart. Sly Cooper is one of the best game series ever on my opinion and it's so cool that there is a community who still loves and wants sucker punch to make the games. I would be so hyped to see even a remake of one of the first games of the trilogy. As Thanos said "this does put a smile on my face".
