There is a cheaper alternative to getting your Discovery Pass, you can check out Klook -www.klook.com/en-AU/activity/2766-blue-mountains-unlimited-discovery-pass-sydney/?aid=28215
Great video for tourists who want to do it on their own 👍🏻 Lol $2.8 is so cheap, but the drawback is you have to fight w other tourits to get to the bus yeah 😆 We went once with a bus tour company a few years ago, I think only cost less than $100 includes Cableway and Skyway, plus full day of guided tour. We prefer this way so we get all the information from the local guided tour, and the trip became more meaningful. The guide even explained about all different flora and fauna in the park. So for us it’s a value for money 👍🏻
Guided bus tour is good option too, especially to know the history and knowledge in depth🙂 Yeah a lot of overseas and local tourists like us on sunday haha
We wanted to do that hike at The Three Sisters but the kids passed out in the car. It was was the last place we visited. Scenic walkway looks very cool too!
there is a better bus to catch. The explorer bus is cheaper and is a double decker so you see the great views. the bus you catched was just the local bus which tends to get ridiculously crowded. If your going to the blue mountains I recommend you get the explorer bus
Looks like a gorgeous day with those blue skies to be outside. Those there are so amazing and how far you can see. Differently would need the food to recharge and get that energy back. That would be fun doing the cliffhanger
You are the only youtube channel to actually do a detailed vlog about Sydney. It is super helpful. I've been trying to find useful and informative vlogs about Australia and yours is the only one that really helps. I hope you keep this up! There are so many beautiful places in Australia but it lacks vlogs for people who wants to visit. 🤩
aww that is so nice for you to say! - we are so happy that you enjoyed our detailed guide :D - yes we hope to make more for sydney and our upcoming taipei and korea trip :D hehe.!
Dude I feel like I am on the tour bus with you guys for 2 seconds of my life..maybe because its early morning here in chi and my brain is not function correct ahah. Maybe I wasn't to go to blue mountain lol...love the name there sisters ahah..lots of walking and steep as heck the stairs..amazing views..you guys are high up the mountains!!
That stairs is very steep! And there are a counterflow of people going up! But the view is truly breathtaking! Loving the cable carts! It looks so fun! 😊👍🏼
Cy is beside me and tells me: "you see why I would like to have a new camera? See how those slo-motion shots look beautiful??! Imagine slow-motion in the cooking videos, how amazing that can be..." 😂
Nin is Cooking i meant you didnt say monday new recipe? Haha oh wait u did! Just watched it again! Haha i think i was cooking when i watch it i only hear spicy haha in the beginning
This is awesome!!! Someone literally just told us about the blue mountains today, and your video makes it look incredibly beautiful! Can’t wait to see it!
We remember a few years ago it wasn’t that many people haha. Oh I think it’s because we picked a better day to go perhaps, as we went on 26 Dec, on boxing day where most people preferred to shop 😆
This is one of our destination to bring our family/ friends from overseas...and question we got "Why's not blue this mountain???" haha and that "I love my job" sock is hilarious..:D
Welllll, some days it will look blue, especially on camera. If you take a photo and enhance the colour you will see it become blue. This is because of the eucalyptus trees (But not the mountains them self, just the area around them)
A few simple tips if you're catching the train. First is to sit upstairs, as this definitely gives a better view. It's the same price. Second is to sit on the left side of the train in each direction. Again, you get a better view of the Mountains. On the trip up the Mountains, you will see south and west over dramatic valleys. On the return trip, you'll see across the central range of the Mountains to Mt Hay. Remember that you can easily tip the backrest over to ensure that you're facing the direction of travel. The trains are normal public transport in the Mountains and there's no restaurant carriage and you'll have to bring your own snacks.. Enjoy your day out.
So many stairs but It’s definitely worth to visit. The view it’s absolutely beautiful. Calamari and pumpkin soup great choice guys ☺️ Wow Sunday it’s very cheap. Nice tip 👌🏼
That is AWESOME.. I didn't know that you could take so many rides at the Blue Mountains. I thought it was just hiking around and I was like.. gosh, that's too much effort, I'm too unfit for this haha. I'm loving your narration at the start of your vids.. really sets the scene nicely.
Priyanka Agarwal $2.80 to and from central station to blue mountains and back and the scenic world was around 49 dollar per person , so total around 51.80 per person if you do the scenic world :D
Wow, what an awesome place the Blue Mountains are, we can see why you did such a details and fun vlog...so much to do and see! You need a good head for heights too on some of those cable cars😮😮😮Thanks so much for sharing👍👍👍
we underestimate the weather so much ahahah.. it was quite warm down in Sydney but by the time we arrived in the mountain, the weather dropped like 5 degrees 😂
I was thinking of taking guided tour to BM but after watching you, it’s more economical to just go there from Sydney. Thank you. you’re sweet couple. I’m new subbie 🥰🇦🇺
Sunday = cap day, how awesome is that?! That roller coaster had a surprise for you guys 😂 but what an awesome day out!! Thanks for taking us along. Tash
Nice video and good tips for visitors. I'm from New Zealand and have booked 11 Nights accomodation at end of this year. There are tour groups (crowded or expensive), hire a car, or yes train. Sydney needs more double decker buses like NZ has, but its an awesome place to visit.
yep we don't have many double decker buses for daytrips etc, they are more for just from city & suburb. hopefully you are enjoying sydney & surroundings :) Port Stephens is a great place to visit too.
Aww thank you, glad you found this helpful🙏🏻 Hope you enjoy Blue Mountain! Skyliner is really good way to travel across & got beautiful view especially during sunny day😊
Thank you guys for this. I'm going to Blue Mountains (and Sydney) for the first time in September and this video basically explains how to get from Katoomba to Echo Points and Scenic World in the best way. I know that Sunday is probably good to go because of the cheap fare but what about the crowd? What day is the best to go with less crowd or it's just the same throughout the week? And I wonder how will the weather be in Sydney by then? Thanks a lot guys!
fareed_ hi Fareed ! Hey 😬🙌, yes agreed its cheaper on klook for the experiences- however for transport if you are going by train sunday is the cheapest at 2.80 But yes if you want less crowd your best bet is weekdays 🤣. September weather is nicer here because it’s spring- not as cold and not as hot . In summer this place can be ridiculously hot haha. Hope that helps! :) and hope you enjoy sydney
Love the Blue Mountains. But man, all those tourists taking advantage of the $2.80 all-day ticket. I might even drive when the buses are that packed. 😂
Thanks for the very informative video about a day trip to Australia's Blue Mountains just outside Sydney. Lots of good info in there, but funny that the tourist buses make the place look like downtown Shanghai, and also that @10:27, most of the products the 'Marahani Boutique' you're flogging came from China in the first place!
Food and Footprints well if you ask the chinese hahha its like a must buy here, manuka honey is both new zealand and austrlian, we got a type of leaves/trees thats native to aus/nz where the honey produced has some good healing properties - i take one spoon when im sick
I went there too a year ago and it was very fun. But I went to blue mountain first then echo point- and the "rollercoaster" ride, I took it and went backwards it was scarier 😩
Hi...Superb video....I am visiting in October...Will it be very hot in October end .. I am with my parents... They r in 70s....Will it be difficult for them?
Visiting Sydney for the first time this October and your videos has been extremely helpful in planning for the trip! Definitely gonna check out Blue Mountains on a Sunday (just gotta brave the crowd and queues!) 😉
Thanks so much yvonne, so happy to know this is so useful for first time traveller like yourselves🙏 We also made 10 tips to know before coming down and cheap eats (top 15 food under $10 in sydney cbd), hopefully it will be useful for your planning. Just ask us anything about Sydney, more than happy to answer any questions 😄
It is freezing. Some tourist overlook this when traveling to Australia during winter. Even in the very hot country areas of New South Wales, it still can drop bellow zero overnight during winter. Some tourist can wake up to find that their campsite is covered in snow and find out very quickly that they can't find their way back home.
Your guide is very helpful! If you still remember, how long did each queue take you? What time did you leave Central station and what time did you get back?
Great video of the Blue Mountains. Watching it from Auckland New Zealand my friend. Your Cinematography so awesome and so is your narration and editing ! Keep up the great work and keep in touch !
Hey mate nice informative video but can you pls share the timings of your visit and when did you start your day in the morning from Sydney central to Kantoomba. Any tip to cover all the three ways-railways view, cable view, sky way?

World’s Steepest Railway? Very cool! And you can choose your ride steepness too?
Food and Footprints we went cliffhanger mode 🤔 i think haha! Which was like 64 degrees lol 😂
Those stairs are crazy !!! Líeles would have not gone up there.
The Mamuchos exercise right haha
$49 is really worth for all the attraction and rides, plus the view is just spectacular. 😍
Puri and Sue its worth it 😆, but i wish it was cheaper! Im sure i can find groupon somewhere for discount coupon haha
@@nickandhelmi P/s it's cheaper on Klook
Never heard of the Blue Mountains before - great guide! Sunday is the way to go
Food and Footprints sunday funday! I supposed blue Mountains is like your national park! But is filled with tourist nonstop lol
Good tip on the Discovery Pass - definitely worth it to take advantage of all those stunning views!
Food and Footprints yes but compare to the $2.80 roundtrip from sydney 🤣 can be seen as a wallet killer haha - how i wish i was sponsored haha

Native Australian gum trees, no autumn colours in these! They are evergreen.

thanks mate - it was beautiful sunny day despite quite low temperature😄 oh yeahh cliffhanger, would do it again haha
