Too many women use this advice to just be rude and entitled. You don’t need to become a “bad bitch” just be a kind gentle person who’s also discerning and knows themselves so deeply they can identify when someone transgresses them and then act accordingly.

Leila, what you say is probably a panic attack could be a freeze response from PTSD. You can't get better in a moment if it's a panic attack. The freeze response on the other hand can be weakened with exactly what you said to yourself: " move, move". Thank you!😍. The freeze response can be deadly in an urgent situation that needs immediate reaction. Flight, fight, freeze are the top 3 responses in PTSD and freeze is the most dangerous. Good for you for overcoming this!! 🥰. Changing the environment is absolutely key!!
What she just said is literally the best thing I've heard in a long time and can actually save millions. As a young person you think you are invincible. Parents if you have a kid on a wrong path and they think they are invincible. They just need to be woken up. I had a near death experience and just like her I changed my entire life over night.

Lisa I found your channel through a Dr Ramadi interview or several of them because of the relationship I've been in for almost 9 years. I have completely lost myself because of this relationship. I used to be so confident and strong. I'm 2nd degree black belt and have spent years competing in tournaments nationally, I spent 8 years in the Marine corps 2005 to 2013, I was born and raised in American Samoa and had an amazing family who taught me the samoan fireknife and hula and other cultural dances, I was a facilities manager for the Department of Defense, I went thru Beauty school and was a licensed esthetician and did makeup for television for 7 years. Now I'm not doing ANY of these things that I once loved my whole life, I'm 39 and I am just now realizing that I need to dig myself out of this hole I fell so deep in. Thank you for your videos because they're helping me right now so much ❤❤❤

The second segment with Constance touch on quiet quitting. It’s very nuanced and far deeper than people not wanting to work (Also, it’s not just the younger generation who does this but hey, every preceding generation loves to go in on the next). People want to feel valued and make a difference in the work that they do. They also want to be fairly compensated as well. If someone states they don’t want to work on a project then they aren’t the right fit for your business or maybe they’re being honest about their abilities. Why would you want someone to work for you who isn’t a good fit? Let’s not pretend there aren’t toxic work cultures all over. I’m sure everyone in the comment section has horror stories. I agree that we all need to work but we haven’t been taught very well about “best fit”. Every person isn’t for ever job. Prior generations did many things as they were in survival mode and providing their families a better life. I believe in people working for what they want. They shouldn’t be lazy! I also disagree with the meritocracy mindset that people have to work hard to be valued.
I love how thoughtful this conversation is. I really feel like the answers to questions were intelligent and genuine. I go through a lot of the same thought processes in basically every aspect.

You can objectively think someone’s attractive, without wanting to sleep with them. It doesn’t need to go that deep. There’s also a difference between a quick glance of recognising someone is attractive, and ogling and continuing to look/ glance at them multiple times, or flirting or ignoring your partner to stare.

@@calisongbird Yeah, would have been healthier for her to stay slightly overweight - it's never really about "health" for most of those people, they just feel ashamed they don't fit society's standards and brainwashing. Not hating on her but I hate how we idolize people like this.

She disassociates. That’s what I do to too, helps to get through new experiences. Key thoughts is that you have to reconnect with yourself after the experience or you could go numb to life. Still feel the feels.

I love my work. When I don't love my work, I fall into a depression where I will stop going to work. It's about self reflection to see where you need to pivot in any given moment. You should work the hours & show up, but I can't show up every day to a job that feeds black mold to it's customers like Amazon/Whole Foods & feel good about myself. *The* *Exception* being having a reasonable disability, and even then, having purpose is life giving in whatever way you can.

I’ve been working on weight loss goal and I ve been ignoring my haters and getting results so I feel proud of myself .

The only way I was ever able to lose weight was on antidepressants. She was able to channel her feelings and use them to make huge changes - but If you think too much about the challenge and are overwhelmed with anxiety you won’t get out the door.
I had to say “I feel and look not my best, but how can trying be any worse?”
Many weight regulation issues are emotion regulation issues. Taking care of emotional regulation makes losing weight so much easier.
Someone that feel like that can get out the door without antidepressants. It depends on the person. It will be harder but it’s possible.
As a Chubby who got hypothyroidism and a most stressful job, and don't have a sleep routine. My weight gain is easy but it's so hard to lose it. I hitted 94 kg. last year after my lovely dog passed away, Yes its a mix of depression, loss and emotional. I give my time to be sad and cry, and from now on still miss him every day. But I got my life to move on, and looking at myself in the mirror I don't like my looks, my confidence gone.
It took a year to lose 20 kg. It's still over weight if compared with my height but hit my goal at 75 and can make it lower. It is stable at some point like stuck at 80 for 2-3 months but I keep doing it, tgen its come down to 74-77. I don't push myself too hard. Just make it easy and happy with everyday life and keep thinking about my health. Because it's better than letting it over and over. I have lost weight and gained in some years. Up and down because my job is not a day work, so on that a lots of component, all about my depression, emotions and health problems. But I keep myself in between not too hard and not too chill. Focus on my mind and do my best, I still eat some desserts and fried, a shit foods but not so many times. Just change some behaviors.
Now it gained a bit but it is still within my boundaries. I got another 7 kg. To hit my new goal even at my age keeps me older, and also a lot of symptoms that I got from my genes. Keep seeing my doctor and following up on my health because I have my dream hobbies to do and cannot succeed with my obesity.
Life should be balanced. Start from your mind, you are valued, you are strong, and you deserve the best. You can do everything you want and your heart wants to do it too. If you appreciate your body health is good for you. To support yourself from inside your mind and your thoughts. If you have a mental health issue, that affects your weight, you need therapy. Come to see a doctor for psychological treatment. It's not easy but you will get your goal more easily.
By the way, I do IF and soft workouts like walking, just walking. that fit my body and lifestyle. Also, keep seeing my doctor. I like my Chubby body and I do it for my health. It is perfect for me to be myself like this, Self-love is always a beautiful aura that shines in your heart, do it for yourself. I hope you can deal with emotions and depression.
I do when I want to not others to order me to do. Even to be bullied on my body, I don't care.
Find the way that you feel comfortable with, and take it easy. Talk to people who support, understand, and care about you. Focus on your goal. Just walk slowly, step by step. There is no short cut. Life is too short. If you have a dream and disappooint with your body or got health issues. Let start it now!!!
I do understand your feeling. Because I am the one that used to be, I don't know the future too, that it will be gain more or not even I do live my life the same but I try to maintain. I will fix it before its gain to much.

I've also had a similar experience with overcoming limiting beliefs by just doing the thing..
Ice baths help with that or cold showers, jump in before your mind can tell you to stop and then you can apply that to other areas.
Also a regular yoga practise helped- just get up everyday and do the practise, don't get caught up in results just practise and eventually your life is totally different

It's so motivational. I am currently doing my own business too and there were a few things which triggered me positively while listening to the later part of the interview.
