To everyone asking where the crown vics are, Crown vics are a very old car, and most state agencies cycle through cars every 3-4 years. Ford stopped production in 2011, that means the newest crown vic (which most agencies don't have) are a minimum of 10 years old. Even some regular cars don't make it 10 years, you might as well forget cop cars that are constantly being pushed to the max.

And with their job being highway patrol and traffic enforcement (they are state certified LEOs so they also enforce all state, county, and local laws) they need to be highly visible during the day and at night. if their lights wig waged like the others it would diminish their visibility that's why theirs are slow and only wag the one pattern. and when they get out and their lights are on all the lights besides the back of the bar remain steady

It does, most departments, especially in cities such as L.A. Will have AntiRiot Teams.
