On the small streets; I believe that’s intentional by the urban planners. By making the street small, drivers feel the need to be cautious and drive slower so they won’t damage your vehicle; wider and straight streets tend to make drivers unconsciously drive faster, thinking it’s safe to do so with so “much” room to maneuver.
By making the streets smaller and making drivers feel the need to drive slower, not only do you reduce accidents, but you also make it safer for pedestrians to cross, instead of feeling intimidated by fast driving cars down streets.
Basically, the small streets are working as intended. (or so I believe; and this is a good thing, since now people can walk around more safely and drivers are safer too!)

My house just finished being built in Springhouse Village. I am moving from Southern California and I can't wait to live here! Do you have a list of great restaurants in the area? I am a health nut so I know that is not going to be easy to find. Also do you know when the restaurants and proposed shopping will happen?

We’re excited to have you move to the area! Downtown Daybreak is an ongoing project that will be completed in phases over the next 20 years. I’m not positive when the first phase will begin. But for now, we have great restaurants in Daybreak, and awesome restaurants and shopping in South Jordan, and surrounding areas. There actually are a lot of healthy eating options here! We’ve got Cubby’s, CoreLife Eatery, Fueled Kitchen, Aubergine Kitchen, and The Protein Foundry. If you like sushi, Blue Fish Sushi Bar is amazing!

Moving to Daybreak and very happy. Downsizing from a huge Midvale home and it feels like a lonely area now. My mom will be happier in Daybreak.

Am I crazy? My husband and I seem to be the only ones who don’t like daybreak! I keep searching videos to try to understand why people love it there, and I really don’t get it.

I feel like Daybreak is very polarizing; most either love it or hate it, and there isn’t a whole lot in between! You’re definitely not crazy. Daybreak just isn’t for you, and that’s ok! 😊

Crazy, so you pay all these crazy fees and you even mentioned the dreaded old toilet yard to help your cause BUT YET 18 homes decide to do a barbie theme and that's ok??? Until the police shut down the road .😅 pay crazy fees for huge inconveniences 😅
